Orchard Parksuites in Singapore

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my stay at Orchard Parksuites was extremely disappointing. The recent, clearly AI generated reviews paint a rather incorrect view of the current state of this property. For a property that’s priced as a premium serviced apartment in the heart of Orchard, the experience fell far short of expectations.

First, the cleanliness was unacceptable. We found ants in multiple areas of the unit, which made it hard to feel comfortable. The air conditioning never worked properly in the bedrooms, leaving the apartment stuffy and humid even after repeated attempts to fix it.

The furniture and fixtures were old, stained, and frankly disgusting, giving the entire place a worn-down feel that doesn’t match the photos online. To make matters worse, the hot water was inconsistent, sometimes cutting out completely, making showers an unpleasant experience.

Staff were polite and tried to address these issues meaningfully. However, the building is simply old and not well-maintained. For what they charge, I expected a much higher standard of maintenance and comfort.

Overall, I would not recommend staying here until the management seriously renovates and updates the units. The location is great and the staff were friendly, but everything else about the stay was disappointing. I strongly recommend you look elsewhere for your serviced apartment.

Stayed at orchard park suites for a month while we were getting set up in Singapore from the UK, I personally would not recommend anyone who has a mould issue, cares about their electrical devices or likes to be clean to stay here.

The laundry machines are full of mould and caused me serious skin breakouts as I have a mould allergy. So every time I did laundry, my skin got worse. Also for some reason after using them my clothes from some dryers would smell like vomit. I could not find a better alternative to this situation so I just struggled through it.

Some of the cleaning ladies were kind while others would aggressively throw around the vacuum while muttering. They blatantly ignored the Do Not Disturb sign I had on the door and even though they slid a paper under the door informing us of our missed cleaning decided to come back anyways and aggressively ring the door bell which woke up my sleeping child who has been on and off sick since arriving in Singapore and beyond miserable basically the entire time as her sleep has been very poor. Our last night there they didn’t even bother putting the bed back together (left the pillows on the desk? ) and didn’t mop our room.

Got a couple packages delivered here and one of them while my husband was in hongkong for work I received a phone call to alert me it had arrived- I went to the desk the next day for the front staff to argue with me claiming they did not have it because it was not on the top of the pile. I had them check all of the packages and what do you know? It was there. The desk person placed it on the desk and walked away without acknowledgment or apology, which was incredibly rude.

Within the first week the boiler in our main bedroom broke or was broken already and we would get maybe 5 mins of hot water to shower with or to fill the bath tub. It took them 4 days to send in someone to check it out and another week to “fix it” they replaced the boilers but the issues stayed the same and we still only would have 5-8 mins max of hot water for the bath and for the shower.

The outlets and plugs are FAULTY and kept electrocuting my husband whenever he had his phone plugged in and they destroyed two of our laptop chargers (50-100$ EACH) and my Rog Ally that is 1200$ is completely broken now, it was plugged in and in use when the outlet shorted the charger which then destroyed my gaming units charging port.

When we brought this up to the front desk they were absolutely useless. They sent us a small box of chocolate as an apology for the almost two weeks of no proper usage in our main bathroom due to the boilers.

No response on the chargers and I realised today (the day we left and moved into our new home) after attempting to use my Rog Ally for the first time since the cable shorted that it is broken and no longer functioning. I will be demanding they replace what was broken due to their electrical issues and faulty plugs.

The location is amazing.

The staff are hit and miss.

There are definitely glaring problems.
