Facilities: The room is spacious, and while the amenities are a bit dated, they are well-maintained. The pool is small.
Service: After checking in, I didn't really notice any particular service from the front desk, but they were polite and helpful when I had questions.
Environment: The location is very convenient! However, there aren't many dining options on the island itself, so I recommend going to Fengyi City for meals.

The room was clean and tidy, and the location was excellent – just a two or three-minute walk to the aquarium and Universal Studios. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and most of them spoke Chinese. My child loved it!

The breakfast in the morning was decent, but you have to walk to another area. The hotel's location is excellent; it's a bit of a walk to the Universal Studios entrance, but there are shops and restaurants nearby. It was also very convenient to take a taxi back from the airport. You can also ask the hotel to call a taxi to the city center. The hotel provides slippers, toothbrushes, and toothpaste, and there's an ice maker and water dispenser.

The hotel's location is unbeatable! It's super close to the Sentosa Express station, Universal Studios, the S.E.A. Aquarium, the shopping street, and even the Harry Potter experience – perfect for hot weather since you won't be exposed to the sun! The only downsides are that the pool is a bit small, and breakfast is shared with other hotels and is a bit of a walk away.

The location is unbeatable for families, just a short walk (or monorail ride) to Universal Studios Singapore, the beaches, S.E.A. Aquarium, and other attractions. The room was spacious, with an elegant, art-inspired design that feels upscale yet welcoming, the mini bar was fully stocked and free.

Nice hotel but with problems. Our stay was ok but we were kept awake by building work close to hotel which was going on for 24 hours every day, we was not informed of this when we booked, all information should be given when booking. There was a rooftop bar on floor 11 which was permanently closed and no lobby coffee shop. We included breakfast in our booking, our 1st breakfast was less than average due to location which was not in the hotel.

The biggest plus for this hotel is its proximity to the MRT station, the aquarium, Universal Studios, and the Harry Potter attraction, all just a few minutes' walk away. The facilities are a bit old, but drinks are complimentary. I had some difficulty getting through to Chinese-speaking service when I called the front desk. The breakfast buffet had limited options, and the restaurant itself was small and underwhelming. Staff kept coming over to ask if they could clear our plates, which was quite disruptive and made us uncomfortable while we were eating. I also couldn't quite make sense of the sculptures downstairs.

The hotel is super convenient if you're visiting Universal Studios or the Aquarium; you can see them from the hotel and it's only a five-minute walk. During Chinese New Year, there were lots of celebrations in the plaza right outside, like lion dances, singing, and raffles. Plus, there are plenty of dining options nearby. The room itself was quite spacious, and the free minibar was a fantastic bonus!

The front desk upgraded our two families to a two-bedroom deluxe suite, which we absolutely loved. Everything was perfect, 10/10, no complaints.

If you're visiting Singapore for a day trip to Universal Studios or S.E.A. Aquarium, or even doing both in one day, there's absolutely no need to stay at any hotel on Sentosa. It's much better to head back and stay in the city. I'd also recommend against staying at any Sentosa resort hotels even if you find taxis and self-arranged transport convenient. The hotels on Sentosa feel more like a commercial complex, with several hotels interconnected within what feels like a shopping mall, which honestly felt a bit strange and I wasn't a fan. Plus, the amenities in each hotel are incomplete, often requiring guests to share facilities.

Before checking into this particular hotel, my expectations were quite high, thinking it would be excellent, but after staying, I found it to be very mediocre, even inferior to hotels in the city which offer a more luxurious feel and better service. Firstly, the hotel decor is quite dated. In the master bedroom bathroom of my suite, the drain pipe under the sink was leaking. I honestly couldn't even be bothered to complain or call for maintenance and just endured it for two days. Secondly, for a hotel with a relatively high price point, it surprisingly lacks its own independent breakfast restaurant, instead opting for a joint venture with an external commercial restaurant. Thirdly, the hotel service was very ordinary, nothing special – city hotels are simply better. Fourthly, the suite I stayed in was objectively very spacious, over 200 square meters, but the outdated decor meant it didn't feel particularly novel or impressive. In fact, a living room of that size in a 200-plus square meter suite is largely unused. I feel that paying this price to stay on Sentosa is primarily for the convenience of being able to immediately return to your room and rest after a tiring day of sightseeing. However, in reality, the value for money isn't great. So, for those visiting Sentosa for the first time, I highly recommend doing more research and analysis based on your own situation. If I had to choose again, I wouldn't stay on Sentosa; I'd probably still opt for a city hotel, even if it means an hour-long round trip by taxi.

I am having dinner now at this restaurant. Waiters here needs to be terminated immediately.

A staff with tattoo on hand prefers to chat and smile to 2 ladies at the bar. When taking orders, made us feel as though we owed money.

And Indian server also do not smile at all. If your staff had a long tough day so do your customers. Best the two mentioned person can play and laugh behind th bar counter.

Consumers can understand if restaurant is under-staff but not lousy services no matter good the food can be. Period.

I like your food. But your waitress' attitude is unbearable. We are waiting for very long for you to take order. Yet the fat lady just yelled at us and shouted “you just wait!” later when she took order she was so impatient and she talked to us like she was talking to a bunch of morons. I think you should fire her to maintain your service level. This branch is far worse than the Clark quay branch. Busy is not an excuse. Clark quay branch is also super busy when I went there on Friday night. But the waiters and waitress are super nice to every customer. Please just fire that arrogant impolite lady. Or you will suffer more bad reviews I promise.

I don't know if this is a problem in Asia or Singapore in general but the service is terrible, Singapore is one of the most amazing countries in the world, constantly being let down by third world customer service. This place has the worst service so far.

Massive queue, rows of empty tables outside and lots of tables inside.

One of my party asked for very well done steak - it turned up bleeding. When we simply asked to have it cooked more he just picked up the plate and didn't say a word.

I don't even know why they named the place chili's. Nothing is spicy and close enough to the type of American BBQ. The nice thing is the service is nice. They try to please you. The price is too much for the mediocre taste. If you just need rest after Universal Studio, this is a nice place to stop to get fresh drink. But a big NO for the meal.

We were asked to sit ourselves, which we did, but did not receive any menu until we asked. Then we waited over 15 minutes and no one even came and asked us for our drinks order. We tried to flag someone down but with no luck. Not one person who worked there even acknowledge us to let us know that they would be with us shortly. I understand that it was busy, but out of courtesy a staff member should have at least approach us to let us know that they would be with us shortly. We ended up just leaving the restaurant. It was a shame because we were looking forward to eating there again after having a amazing meal the night before. (Note: The night before we have gone at an early time when there was hardly any other customers)

Portion could be bigger. Staff could listen more and upsell less. No receipt given so no price breakdown of what I've ordered. Didnt know if there was 10% service charges as I had to get my own food.

No onions in the onion rings? Also, never tasted anything quite like the ketchup in this place.. they tried to cut corners on everything. I expect expensive, but not insulting. Go outside to the Malaysian food court.

The worsted burgers in the world. 14 sgd for noteateble pieces of broad and meat like a broad. French fries is ok!

We spend 2 weeks in Asia with phenomenal culinary experiences and saved the last day before our flight back to USA to visit Universal Studios in Singapore, by 4:00 pm we got our last meal at Mel's..hours later just before to take our flight back a total nightmare of vomiting and stomach issues developed putting me in a deeply weak situation that almost impeding me to walk by myself. I end up at the airport medical service dehydrated in a wheelchair with food poisoning. My husband had the same symptoms however his immune system was stronger than mine...I hope that didn't happens to anybody else after eating a bacon & cheese burger there last Friday October 6 by afternoon, because it ruins my 23 hours flying back home plus the inconveniences at the hotel, taxi and other passenger surrounding me.

The cheeseburger was surprisingly good! The portion is too big for me.? value for money is ok because the burger is big. So it's worth it.
