Reviews
Service: After checking in, I didn't really notice any particular service from the front desk, but they were polite and helpful when I had questions.
Environment: The location is very convenient! However, there aren't many dining options on the island itself, so I recommend going to Fengyi City for meals.
Before checking into this particular hotel, my expectations were quite high, thinking it would be excellent, but after staying, I found it to be very mediocre, even inferior to hotels in the city which offer a more luxurious feel and better service. Firstly, the hotel decor is quite dated. In the master bedroom bathroom of my suite, the drain pipe under the sink was leaking. I honestly couldn't even be bothered to complain or call for maintenance and just endured it for two days. Secondly, for a hotel with a relatively high price point, it surprisingly lacks its own independent breakfast restaurant, instead opting for a joint venture with an external commercial restaurant. Thirdly, the hotel service was very ordinary, nothing special – city hotels are simply better. Fourthly, the suite I stayed in was objectively very spacious, over 200 square meters, but the outdated decor meant it didn't feel particularly novel or impressive. In fact, a living room of that size in a 200-plus square meter suite is largely unused. I feel that paying this price to stay on Sentosa is primarily for the convenience of being able to immediately return to your room and rest after a tiring day of sightseeing. However, in reality, the value for money isn't great. So, for those visiting Sentosa for the first time, I highly recommend doing more research and analysis based on your own situation. If I had to choose again, I wouldn't stay on Sentosa; I'd probably still opt for a city hotel, even if it means an hour-long round trip by taxi.
Cafe and Restaurants near hotel
A staff with tattoo on hand prefers to chat and smile to 2 ladies at the bar. When taking orders, made us feel as though we owed money.
And Indian server also do not smile at all. If your staff had a long tough day so do your customers. Best the two mentioned person can play and laugh behind th bar counter.
Consumers can understand if restaurant is under-staff but not lousy services no matter good the food can be. Period.
Massive queue, rows of empty tables outside and lots of tables inside.
One of my party asked for very well done steak - it turned up bleeding. When we simply asked to have it cooked more he just picked up the plate and didn't say a word.
