Last week I had my first vacation with my boyfriend, and we stayed here in one of the bungalows. It was so relaxing!! The service was also really good. Especially Davinia and Jorge, who always had a smile on their face. Thank you! We'll be back ❤️

It's very nice here. The sun loungers are reserved for our use during our stay, so no one is going to come in with them early in the morning in bags. The staff is wonderful. The food is very good. I have no complaints, and I would like to return here as soon as possible.

Good hotel with a spa included for all guests at no extra cost. In the all-inclusive system, the buffets were varied, always offering something to please. A big plus is that 95% of the drinks served are branded and unlimited; in the premium options that require extra payment, the price is fair. The staff are friendly, quick, and professional, fluent in several languages. The less positive point, but easily predictable from reading the reviews, is that this hotel caters to a more senior clientele and has a strong German market presence. You won't find a party hotel for young people here; instead, you'll find a place where you can rest and relax, where everyone is cordial and you'll be cordial in return. I recommend it to those who enjoy a more wellness-oriented lifestyle.

Unfortunately I came when it was very bad weather. The hotel is located to the beach. The spa is lovely but could only receive one massage as it was fully booked up. The hotel is geared for older people and even the entertainment is focused around that cliental. The lift to spa facilities was broke. I know someone who wanted to access but couldn't due to accessibility. The reception and staff friendly. Good location. There needs to be more spa bookings as I actually went somewhere else for day. I would consider going back maybe in around 20 years time. It's a beautiful location on beach.

I had a pleasant stay overall at this hotel. The room was good, clean, and comfortable, and the facilities were well maintained. One of the highlights was the superb garden, which was beautifully kept and provided a relaxing atmosphere. The hotel also has very easy access to the beach, which made it even more enjoyable. It was especially convenient being able to pick and reserve a sunbed for the week, making each day by the beach stress-free and enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always willing to assist with any requests. However, the food was a bit of a let down considering the high standard of the hotel and its facilities. It didn’t quite match the overall quality of the rest of the experience although it was varied and plentiful. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel, especially for its location, surroundings, and excellent service.

For once common sense prevails. As it wasn't bust they didn't fix it! This hotel has made for itself a perfect little niche. No expansion, no children, no loud music or agitators- sorry animators- blowing a trumpet in your ear encouraging you to don a silly dress and throw a balloon when all you want to do is relax( although there is an excellent team running activities throughout the day, every day ,they are blissfully discrete) or replacing any of the decor just for the sake of it. The range and quality of the food is even better than before if possible and the rooms- mercifully unchanged( why would they?) are as clean and comfortable as ever. However, it is the staff who make or break a hotel. Whilst many do not speak English, the warmth of welcome upon recognising us from previous visits is a bonus extra.

Strengths are food, housekeeping, location and facilities. Weaknesses are entertainment, it's dreadful, basically third rate singers with a karaoke machine. Poolside fashion shows are annoying as they occur 3 time a week. Clearly the budget for entertainment is tight and is thinly spread over the piece, it needs a rethink.

My partner and I and some friends of ours stayed in this hotel on an AI basis for our friend’s 40th Birthday. We were by far the youngest there but we didn’t mind this as we were using the hotel for a relaxing base. We found the staff absolutely fantastic, they were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. For example, as there were 6 of us the restaurant manager reserved a larger table in the dining room for us for dinner every day which was a lovely touch. The food was excellent and plentiful and the theme nights were well received. Although we didn’t use the pool or spa facilities they looked very well maintained and were very popular. The evening entertainment was very popular and if you didn’t arrive early you’d struggle to get a seat most nights. Me and my partner had a room away from the main hotel, within the garden area with a view of the sea which meant it was quieter. We loved our little room which had tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge and a hairdryer included. We hired an iron and board for the week for a refundable €20 deposit. There is a little supermarket across the road and a pharmacy so anything you want is within easy reach. From my experience I would recommend this hotel for older couples and groups. It is a lovely hotel, ideal for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Today is our last day at this hotel and felt it good to let everyone know our overall experience Firstly the staff in general are lovely with the exception of one very rude and abrupt older lady on reception- apparently it’s impossible to ask for more tea/coffee milk for the room after 1500 and you have to wait until the following afternoon when the cleaner comes back - not what I would expect for a 4 star hotel The rooms are lovely, spacious and great shower and good size balcony with furniture so no issues The pool area is nice and chilled with background music and comfy reserved sunbeds so again no issues My biggest disappointed was the food and drink - firstly the glasses and cups provided for drinks are tiny, literally 2 mouthful of coffee and gone, same with soft drinks , just seems like cost savings The food is the same every day and basic in my opinion- no real mixture each day or even more than 1 place to eat in the evening- they do have a pool bar and cafe which is only open from 12-3, when asked why do you not offer evening food in the same place I was told it was too cold at night! But it’s open to get a drink and some nights a singer but no more then half a dozen people to see the entertainment so seems pointless The biggest point is to make sure people know this hotel is 100% aimed at a much older clientele - we are early fifties couple and was way and above the youngest of people - I would say average is over 70 so you can imagine the entertainment and options are geared up for that age range- I saw 1 young lad here with his dad and he must have been bored silly! Overall it was ok but I would not return as nothing to do after dinner, local area has a could of cafes but no shops or a place to look around

The de luxe bungalows are superb! Nice wiev to the sea and an own jakuzzi on the balcony. Room is clean and spacious for two. The breakfast was best I have ever had. Very large selection and great taste. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Located next to the beach and easy to find. Offering decent selection of food and drinks. Portions are large and having both starter and meal is a overkill. What I liked a lot was a service. Guys were fast!

Very nice place with good service and beautiful views - basically at the beach in San Augustin. More European menu card, than traditional Spanish kitchen (unfortunately). They have fresh, and very tasty as well, cold smoothies (their specialities).

We were in Gran Canaria for two weeks. This was the worst restaurant we ate. This is not a restaurant. When we ordered, the person went to buy at the local supermarket the food he was going to cook. The person who served us seemed to hide things and very stressed. He was just saying that he did not speak our language well enough not to talk about the problem of food. The meat sauce was served at the end of the meal while we had already finished eating.
All the other restaurants we tested at Grand Canary were great
