Birdcage Resort - Adult Only in Playa del Ingles

Our 7th visit. Complete relaxation, excellent rooms and breakfast. Lovely staff we think of as friends now - and great company with, on this occasion, because Nationalities are mixed, really nice English guests we are now in contact with back in the UK. Cannot be more handy for restaurants and Yumbo, plus supermarkets. Great free parking outside for our hire car too.

I’ve recently returned from an amazing week at the Birdcage Resort. A lovely place, peaceful and relaxing. It was my first stay. I was a solo traveller. I felt so welcome from the moment I arrived. Mike, Roland and Ralf are wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Likewise, the housekeeping team were great. My room was very comfortable and had a private courtyard garden which I loved! Breakfast is terrific with plenty of choices from the buffet as well as a delicious hot offering cooked to order. There were plenty of sun beds by the pool. The resort is only about a five minute walk to the Yumbo Centre with its large choice of bars and restaurants.

This was a return trip to the Birdcage for us. A welcoming and friendly place to stay. Spotless, private, and wonderfully relaxing. We will definitely be returning.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Birdcage Resort — it truly exceeded all expectations and felt like the perfect retreat from everyday life. The setting is beautiful, with stunning, well-kept gardens that create such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Our accommodation was incredibly comfortable and spacious, and having our own private garden made it feel even more special and secluded. The rooms were cleaned and refreshed daily to a very high standard, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was a real highlight — delicious, varied, and available until noon, which felt like such a luxury. Lunch served by the pool was equally wonderful, making it easy to relax all day in the sunshine without having to go anywhere. The hot tub was another lovely touch and added to the calm, unhurried vibe of the whole place. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm — nothing was too much trouble. Even the other guests were lovely and welcoming, which added to the relaxed, easy atmosphere. With the wonderful sunshine, beautiful surroundings, and exceptional hospitality, this resort is the perfect place to unwind and recharge. We left feeling completely refreshed and would return in a heartbeat

The staff were friendly and helpful if needed. The birdcage is a beautiful tropical oasis with lovely garden landscaping.; Tranquil and chilled with not too many people. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sunshine. It’s close to restaurants, bars cafes and a short walk to beech. I highly recommend it.

Simply outstanding in every way. A very intimate resort where you are made to feel like family with attention to every detail. Highly recommended for couples or singles. A very quiet tucked away location yet so near to everything.

From the moment you arrive you feel like home. The staff is professional and friendly. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood just a short walk from Yumbo (bars and nightlife). The layout of the property is well thought out. In the center you have the restaurant and pool area. The rooms, with one exception, are located privately. We stayed at Dove Cage. When waking up you open the doors and it feels like a private garden outside. A nice detail is that the rooms are cleaned and maintained when you go for breakfast. Within a one minute walk you may catch the busses who may take you to the beach or other places on the island. Breakfast, served until noon, is great with lots of options. When time for lunch, order something from the lunch menu (served at the restaurant or by the pool) or ask for recommendations for restaurants. If you are new to Playa del Inglés recommendations are a must since the options are many but the quality of restaurants vary a lot. All in all, we had a wonderful relaxing vacation and are now planning our next stay at the Birdcage.

Stayed here for 17 nights. Had a really lovely relaxing holiday in Birdcage. The garden suite was very comfortable, spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The beds are so comfortable. There was a great selection of cold and hot food which was cooked to order each day. All the staff were so helpful and attentive and they never let you walk past them without a friendly hello and chat. Birdcage is very central and only a 5 min walk and you are in the Yumbo Centre. Will definitely return at some point.
