Hotel Antares in Cala d'Or

Good location, pleasant stuff. However, no WiFi in the rooms, no air conditioning, no tv. Rooms and hotel are old. No breakfast included for the price of 95(!!!) € a night and it’s not the highest price yet. Very loud hotel in front, with the music every night until 23:30. Very loud! Last but not least I suspect this hotel is having bed bugs since I was bitten every night by the insects.

Where do l even start.
This is one of the cheapest hotels we could find in mallorca, so we kind of knew what we were signing up for, but this hotel really disappointed us.
We don't really care about the looks of a hotel room but the most important thing for ANY hotel is the cleanliness.
This place was one of the dirtiest and worst kept hotels I've seen.
When we checked in, our bed sheets were stained. When we mentioned it the next morning the woman didn't even apologize for the
inconvenience but brushed it off as if this was a common occurrence.
The bathroom was poorly maintained and the vent looked like something was living in it. Also the plumbing was bad and worked poorly.
We didn't mind the fact that the towels were only changed every second day but every time we got new towels they were stained.
The room only had one small trash can in the bathroom (for hygiene products and normal trash) so we were forced to put everything into small bags and use those as trash bins.

On the other hand the location was great and the first impression of the guy at the front desk was also really good. He recommended a lot of spots on the island. The mattress was also really comfortable if it wasn’t for the fact that the sheets were way too small and would fall off at night, making you sleep on a bare mattress hundreds of people used before.

Overall this experience wasn't really good and i wouldn't recommend this hotel to anybody that what's to stay in a clean hotel

Beware of thieves in this hotel, I left my bags open and someone from the hotel stole my garments. I have never left my bags without locks and I have made my biggest mistake in this hotel. I stayed there 3 days and never come to my mind check my luggage before I leave, so I closed them and when I got to Malaga, !!!big surprise!!! Many of my clothes were missing, I wrote to the explaining what happened and instead of receiving a concerned email they were very aggressive and furious like I was hurting them an told me that couldn’t happen there because the personnel is being there for long time and they know them very well. I offer to send photos of my missing clothes from the previous days of my vacation, they accepted so I sent them via email. Few days later the lady from the front desk sent me a nasty response and asking me what I was expecting from them. Well usually the people who is in charge try to find out what happened and I was hoping they could take a look of the pics and compare with the clothes she wears, specially since I didn’t buy them in Spain, some were even from Colombia, USA and Italy Just make sure you lock your bags
