Aparthotel HSM Calas Park - All Inclusive in Cales de Mallorca

We stayed for 5 nights in September 2025 and I have to admit after reading good and bad reviews I was a little sceptical but I needn't have been. The hotel itself, although a little dated, was clean and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and ours had a sea view which was perfect for watching the sunrise. The air con was a little noisy so we didn't use it much and just opened the bedroom window and balcony door instead. The plastic cups that you're issued with upon check-in really aren't a big deal and it's much more sustainable. You don't need them in the dining room for breakfast, lunch and dinner, just around the pool during the day and in the evenings. Another barman would've helped keep the queues down on an evening too it but wasn't a major issue. The food, although pretty standard for all inclusive, was tasty and there was plenty of choice. I was a big fan of the omelettes for breakfast! There are a lot of steps down to the pool/evening entertainment area and no lifts at all so those with mobility issues would struggle. Plenty of sunbeds available around the pool throughout the day and although guests are asked not to reserve sunbeds, it happened every day. The beach is a 10 minute walk away or for a slightly longer but more scenic walk, head along the promenade to the beach. There's a larger beach and a smaller one around the next cove which was slightly quieter. Plenty of shops/restaurants/bars a 2 minute walk away from the hotel too. The entertainment team were brilliant and always doing something to keep the guests entertained. Evening entertainment was good too; a band, Flamenco dancers, a parrot show and an exotic animal show to name but a few. We booked a trip to the Caves of Drach through Jet2 and were not disappointed, would highly recommend. All in all a very enjoyable stay and I would definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic 2 weeks here. The rooms are very clean and a good size. Fresh towels and bedding everyday. The balcony view was amazing. The food was really good. I am a very picky eater and at all inclusive holidays I usually struggle with food but I didn't here. The snack bar had lovely burgers and hot dogs in the middle of the day which was good. The kids tried lots of new dishes that they loved too. Restaurant staff are great too. Very friendly. The beer was nice and so were the cocktails . Kids had slushies and ice cream whenever they wanted self service all day which was great. The staff are amazing. Antino and Garoe were fantastic in the bar and so good with all the kids. The animation staff are fantastic. They are on the go all day long doing pool side games, zumba water polo and kids club and then entertained on stage in the evenings. There are a lot of stairs as pointed out on most reviews. This wasn't a problem for us as our youngest is 5 now and no need for push chairs etc but i can see how this would be a problem for younger children. I thought by the pictures that the water feature was very strange but when we arrived we realised there are turtles and fish in them and the kids just loved that and wanted to check on them every morning and night. Just around the corner there are bars and restaurants all an easy walk away. Lots of shops and a pharmacy. The walk down to the beach is just beautiful. There is a walkway directly from the hotel. It is steep but doable. The beach is stunning and the boat trips can pick you up from basically outside the hotel. All in all we would definitely recommend this hotel especially to anyone with kids older than toddler age. I would hope to return again in the next few years.

We had a great time at HSM, the animation team were FANTASTIC (especially Richie, loved his aqua fit and zumba) and the entertainment was incredible. The rooms were lovely and clean and can never go wrong with a buffet. Other guests were also lovely - we had the best stay!

Great hotel for families and children, the entertainment / animation team are amazing for children / teenagers and go out of there way to make sure there having fun, remembering there names and always put on a great show in the evening. Bar staff also lovely and friendly, remembering your drinks order every time! Rooms clean and cleaned everyday! Food isn’t amazing but we generally something to eat and we knew we were going a 3* all inclusive so weren’t expecting 5*! Steps are fine but I imagine annoying if you have a pushchair! Pool area again is clean and not overly busy! I would deffo come again as the hotel is so good for children

Our experience in HSM was amazing. We stayed in the hotel for 10 days together with our 5 years old daughter. The entertainment team was the heart of this hotel. We stayed for 10 nights in our seaview apartment.couldnt be happier.the hotel was spotless,the staff were very friendly and helpful.the food was amazing.loved sitting on balcony early morning and watching the Swifts flying around the buildings.very relaxing.we wud definitely return and wud highly recommend hotel also.had an amazing holiday

Had a short break at HSM Calas Park. The rooms and hotel itself are kept very clean. The rooms have recently been modernised and have very comfortable beds. We had a few ant issues but easily resolved with spray. Cleaning each day with towel change if needed. Upon check in if you are all inclusive you are allocated a plastic cup - different sizes for adults and children. The same cup has to be used for the duration of the stay. The bar staff will rinse the cup out but there is no way to get it thoroughly washed unless you take washing up liquid which I didn’t (as didn’t realise this was the case with the cups). I found this to be an issue and not very hygienic. Also it made the drinks taste strange if you went from having wine or iced coffee to having water! The drinks choices themselves are good. There are no cups in the hotel room either to buy drinks to use in the room and no cutlery or crockery at all. The restaurant is a bit outdated and small. It was very busy due to the U.K. half term and the hotel wasn’t full. The food choices are limited and I found this difficult being a vegetarian. Also very limited for children. We ended up eating out 2 nights which was nice to experience some local restaurants. Snack times are also in the restaurant and not in the pool bar - so if you do want to eat inbetween meal times you have to be fully dressed and go up to the restaurant. We thought this was strange not having snacks in the pool bar area. No sun bed wars but again it wasn’t a full hotel so not sure what summer is like. There are a lot of steps from the rooms and to the pool then up to reception and the restaurant. This was fine for us apart from carrying suitcases alone! But I can imagine with pushchairs, small children or less able this would be difficult. I am unsure if it was wheelchair friendly as saw no ramps to get to the pool area. The staff work so hard, they are all very friendly and helpful. The bar staff seemed to work very long days without a day off, and the entertainment staff also work long hours. All with a smile all day for everyone. The resort itself is nice, the hotel in a great location looking over the sea. We had a sea view room which was lovely.
