Barceló Ponent Beach in Cala d'Or

I'd like to express my gratitude to the staff of this wonderful hotel for their professionalism and friendliness. We spent a really great time there in October. The location of this hotel is just perfect. Not far from the town centre, and it has almost private access to the beach. The room was modern and clean. The food in the restaurant was tasty and various. The animation program was awesome because every night there was some sort of a show or a concert. As a huge fan of Queen I really appreciated the tribute-concert. It's the best 4 star hotel I've ever been to. Many thanks!

Stayed here for 5 nights AI, we paid for a deluxe sea view room although the view was lovely (view of front pool and beach) I would have preferred a full sea view more round the front, however we didn't feel the need to complain or anything.
The food was brilliant, loads of variety and really tasty options available each day. The wine is served from the bottle so not watered down, and tasted very good. If you want water it is bottled mineral water which was fantastic. The beer was Amstel not my favourite, however as it was served so cold it was lovely. The coffee could be improved as could the fruit juices.
The entertainment was very good, the entertainment staff were lovely. All the hotel staff were very nice and attentive.
We found the beach quite shaded so ended up at the family pool more as it felt a lot warmer and sunnier there.
Rooms were cleaned really well with fresh towels daily.
Would definitely stay again.

We've just stayed here this past week and it has just been so lovely.
My partner ended up proposing on the beach so it holds a sentimental spot in my heart now.
The hotel itself was stunning, very posh and modern. The view from the little pool was stunning, we had one of the ground floor walk up balconies and was perfect if you were wanting to sit out but also pop to the pool bar.
The staff have all been so lovely and very accommodating but I need to mention one person in particular who has just went above and beyond; that is Diego the chef. I have a dairy allergy and always find it hard when eating out to find things that won't make me ill. Diego made my holiday so much more enjoyable just knowing that I was safe in his hands and he always asked if I wanted dessert as well which was always unreal and always looked unbelievable.
He has been absolutely spot on, his warm welcoming smile always made our evening when we'd go for tea. I really hope the hotel knows what a absolute star he is. I honestly couldn't recommend this hotel enough.

I’ve stayed in several hotels before, but I’ve never experienced such variety and quality of food – especially seafood. Meals were delicious every day, never repetitive or boring, unlike some reviews suggested. The entertainment team did a fantastic job, I joined the animations every evening and had a great time. Our room was clean and well-kept – nothing fancy, but perfect since we only used it for sleeping. The hotel is beautifully located on a cliff, right by the charming Cala Ferrera bay, which gives it a unique atmosphere. I’ll definitely come back here again with my wife – highly recommended!

One of the best hotels I been to! The staff have been so accommodating and so so friendly with us, such as serving us when having our meals and drinks. The animation team have been very good, the bartenders and waiters have been amazing and the reception staff have been so helpful with our questions. Also special mention to the cleaners who leave our room very clean. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back here in the future. To all the staff; well done and keep up the amazing work!

We can guarantee you will have an excellent stay here. Friendly, helpful and courteous staff. In a fantastic picturesque location. Food is one of the best in all hotels we've stayed. Rooms and amenities are clean and well maintained. Coming to the end of the season and standards didn't drop. Close to everything you require in Cala d'dor. Entertainment was good too. Nice hotel on the bay in a quiet, cozy Cala Doré. The entrance to the sea is gentle, so it is popular with families with children. There is a kids club. Excellent food for a 3 star. Evening shows are held every day, though not in Russian. For those who know a little English, this will not be a hindrance. The rooms are basic and a bit worn. Parking is paid.

Great staff, great food, cool pool and a wonderful beautiful bay with a beach. The room was first given at number 100, the air conditioner did not work in it and the balcony was on the parking lot. They asked to change, they gave out room 546, overlooking the bay, everything is buzzing in it! The rooms themselves are unpretentious, the hotel is old, tired, but this does not really bother us. I am writing a review from the hotel, there are two hours left before departure, I don’t want to leave)))) Of the main jambs, this is an accident in the city and everyone was left without electricity, but generators were quickly brought and transferred to backup power. Everything was fixed within a day. The hotel did everything possible so that customers would not break off)))) We rented a car through the hotel, went to Valldemossa and Palma, beautiful))) I would like to return here.

Brilliant hotel a bit a paint wouldnt go a miss but everything else worth the holiday in a great location
