Hotel Cala d'or Playa in Cala d'Or

Just arrived back home after a 9 night stay. This is our 3rd year of coming back to this hotel as in previous years the hotel was absolutely amazing with no faults and the kids always had the best time & we couldn’t find a reason to find somewhere else to go. Unfortunately this year was definitely a shock for us all.. The whole week we were there we were in the same sunbeds & the same false eyelash was stuck to the floor meaning the sunbeds around the pool area was never cleaned and the pool had A LOT of black mould at the bottom this year even though I did see the cleaning sheet that gets put up to say the pools been cleaned. We decided to eat breakfast at the resteraunt a couple of mornings, the first few mornings everything was fine.. the sign at the bar states adults are €17 euro and kids under 15 go free.. My husband went and paid for his and the two kids had a selection of pastries and pancakes the first day, all was fine.. the next day, my husband got his breakfast & the kids and they asked for some toast but due to him eating I went up and got them a slice each and when walking back to the table I was asked my room number, which I happily gave as I knew my husband had paid for his breakfast and kids go free.. I got back to the table, put the jam on their toast and took a sly bite and within SECONDS, the rude barmaid behind the bar was at our table saying I would have to pay €17 as I hadn’t paid for a breakfast but she seen me eating.. I explained it was for the kids and was told “i just seen you but I will let you off this time”.. €17 for a bite of toast is laughable. The next day the rules then changed again, it’s one child eats free per paying adult.. my husband then argued again that the past few days he was getting both kids free and there was nothing on their sign to say this and again the same girl said she would let it go this time but next time it would be that he would need to pay for a child. Joke was on them really as we then went to the shop and bought cereal and stopped going down for breakfast. The animation team, I have zero words for.. the past few years the animation team were amazing. Constantly engaging with the kids to the point our kids were always sad to leave at the end of the holiday and giving them hugs to say bye.. this year the night time entertainment was shocking, absolutely no vibe at all apart from the last night there was a live band on and everyone was loving it. The kids looked forward to Dini and singing “Chocolatte”, absolutely NOTHING of the sort this year, the animation team barely engaged with our kids and it’s so sad because they just couldn’t understand why this year was so different. We usually only stay the week and this year we decided to do 9 nights and we honestly really should’ve done 7.. we were more than ready to come home. So sad that not a single member of the long serving animation team is there to pull the place back into what it once was. We also met another family last year who
