We had a fantastic stay at Alua Cales de Mallorca Resort with my wife and our 2-year-old daughter. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was so warm – friendly staff and welcome drinks on arrival set the tone perfectly.
The food was brilliant, with a different theme every evening, and the main restaurant overlooking the sea was beautiful. The staff were outstanding throughout our stay – so friendly and especially engaging with our daughter. Isabel in the restaurant deserves a special mention, she was absolutely fantastic.
Our room in the main building was spacious, clean, and had a bath which was ideal for our little one. We asked for a fridge and the team made it happen quickly. The sea views from the room were stunning.
The resort itself was great for families – two main pools and two smaller pools for children, plus a stunning sandy beach just a 10-minute buggy-friendly walk along the coastal path. At the hotel, sun loungers were never too much of a problem, and we loved watching the lifeguard enforce the “no reserving” rule by removing towels – a nice touch!
Overall, a brilliant family holiday with excellent service, lovely facilities, and everything we needed for a relaxing break. We’ll definitely be back!

We have just returned from this resort and tbh maybe it’s just because it’s end of the season but the hotel was very dirty and very few of the toilets had locks that worked ( broken off) walls stained and food not a great standard . I have stayed in many 4star hotels before and would rate this hotel as 3 star . . Staff at reception where not very helpful at all and there where no boards from easyJet our providers to give any information at all. The sea view we asked for had an air conditioning hut in front of the view which never switched off and therefore the balcony door could not be opened . We asked for a room change given our shower would go from boiling hot to ice cold . We never got moved . The big plus was the entertainment staff ho couldn’t do enough to make the stay entertaining . Evening entertainment was a reasonable standard . I’m not a moaner but this was booked as my husband had just finished 6 month chemo and it was so disappointing . There are also two blocks . Apparently easy jet residents are put into the one off the main hotel and it is not great at all . The main hotel was defo a better one

Stayed here for 4 days and totally fell in love with the place. Food was really nice and changed every day. All inclusive and we had the my favourite club added which was awesome. I found the place to be very very clean and tidy all the time and anything wasn't enough for the staff. Thd view was unbelievable and we trekked a short walk down to playa de domino's which is a lovely beach. No down sides whatsoever. We have now found our favourite place and will come back again. Thank you to all the staff and managers you are doing an amazing job. Having coming back from Turkey all inclusive , which we felt like cattle this was polar opposites x

Great hotel and views from sea view rooms are even better. It’s something great to wake up to each day( worth paying little extra ). Food was great and themed dinners are even better. Staff are friendly and can’t do enough sometimes to help. Rooms cleaned every day and towels swapped. Entertainment team are very energetic and get everyone involved each day to different activities. Evening shows are great for kids and some even were for adults like the singers duo they had one evening. All inclusive drink variety I think was very good from spirits to cocktails and beer on tap. Only thing I could fault is the lifts at times can be slow but it’s very big resort and apart from the lifts I can’t fault it. Always plenty seats available around the hotel to relax during the day and night. Sun lounger situation isn’t as bad as people write and don’t have to get mega early to get them. It just depends on day . Music round pool was also good and made it nice and relaxing while sipping your favourite drinks. Definitely recommend this hotel and would like to come back. Thank you Alua

Wow what a place! We came here with our daughter who has a serious egg allergy and on the first night, the chef came out to us and walked round the entire buffet showing what she could and couldn't eat. He then said he would make sure she had her own special pasta and pudding every night for the rest of our stay. He was so kind and the food/ variety is just out of this world, incredible!
Entertainment staff, wow, they have so much passion and energy and are so enthusiastic throughout the day! To get an entire pool full of people dancing takes a lot of genuine enthusiasm!
Even the reception staff were so so welcoming and kind, explained everything even early hours of the morning when we arrived!

Loved the hotel. Staff were first class and couldn't do enough for visitors. The hotel was well presented and our room was cleaned daily. Food was varied and the was always a large selection available. The entertainment was excellent and bar staff especially were quick to serve a wide variety of drinks and snacks. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to relax in beautiful surroundings with great staff to make your stay most enjoyable.

We enjoyed our holiday at this hotel. The view was amazing from our (really big ) room. We found the food to be good despite what people had said about it. We were not entirely happy that everything was no available on all inclusive such as paying extra for cocktails. This has been included in other hotels we have been to. All in all we had a good holiday but not return because of the resort itself. There is not much there and if you don't want to spend all day at the beach or round the pool there is not much to do .

Wonderful hotel with beautiful views. Rooms were spacious and well equipped except for no coffee or tea making facilities.
Room service was hit and miss. They came at any time throughout the day and if you happened to be in the room, they’d say they’d come back later but never did.
Food was out of this world! I’m quite a picky eater but there was a huge variety on offer so even the fussiest of eaters wouldn’t have gone hungry.
The worst part which I have seen mentioned so many times was the lifts. Constantly breaking down or having to wait an age for one to turn up. When they did, they were very small and hot and the creaking and groaning noises they made was not exactly reassuring! We resorted to using the stairs on most occasions but I did feel for the older holiday makers and people staying on floor 9!
There was outdoors entertainment every evening. We did not participate or go to any of these as we were more after a chill out break. These shows went on until 11/11.30pm but the rooms were so sound proof there was virtually no disturbance if you wanted to sleep.

Just got back from here, it's a lovely hotel, very clean. The staff are very efficient especially in the restaurants/ bars.
There is plenty to eat all day between the restaurants and the snack bars and the food is great.
Not much to do here other than sunbathe or swim, but the pools are icy cold.
More suited to people who just want to lounge around on their holiday.
I wouldn't recommend this place for disabled or people who don't like stairs/steps as where ever you go there are stairs/steps, to the pools, restaurants, bars. And the lifts to the rooms take around 15 minutes to arrive. Spent half my hols waiting on that lift lol.
The entertainment at night by the pool bar was good. It is on quite late I felt as it didn't start until 9.30 and finished at 11pm. I found myself waiting around bored for an hour after dinner while we waited for it to start. Maybe they ought to start it at 8.30pm instead.

More 4.5stars only deducted 0.5 star because of the temperament with the lifts - working on/off for our duration. We had an amazing family holiday opting for the all inclusive package with meals, snacks and drinks on tap it was an awesome experience. Thanks to the staff who advised we visit the beach we enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back. The kids weren’t old enough for the Astro club but we managed to drop in for some of the activities and there was so much going on that you could partake in. We enjoyed the disco nights for the young ones singing along and dancing too and also some of the adult parties at 9:30pm. Breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet was great with so much to choose from and the fruits and desserts were delicious too.
