Hotel hcp in Calella de Palafrugell

Great location and a spacious, comfortable room with a balcony—perfect for drying towels and swimwear. Parking is €20/day; though spacious, we were oddly directed to the farthest tight spot, even though the lot was nearly empty during our 3-day stay (see photos).
Housekeeping was also a concern. Despite requesting cleaning, we returned to find someone had entered the room without notice. No compensation or apology was offered. The next day, we declined cleaning again and only then received a "Do Not Disturb" sign—which should have been in the room from the start.
Check-in staff was friendly, but during check-out, another staff member wrongly asked for city tax again. They confirmed we had already paid only after I pointed it out.
The hotel is overall comfortable, but these issues affected our experience.

Wonderful little hotel! Really clean, very friendly staff, top location… We had a huge terrace and appreciated that there’s a gym (although there’s almost no equipment, at least no weights). No kitchen facilities in the rooms, but guests can store things in a common fridge and borrow plates/ glasses/ cutlery, which already helped. I’d definitely recommend, just enjoyed how welcoming and accommodating people working at the hotel were.
Recommend booking with them directly, as their cancellation policy is quite forgiving, and the price is better than on aggregators.

Staying at Hotel HCP might’ve been the best decision we made during our trip to Costa Brava. It was a two-minute walk from the gorgeous beach at Calella de Palafrugell and had the sweetest staff! The women who run this little hotel are incredibly kind, dedicated, and are constantly going the extra mile. The breakfast was also a highlight of every day for my spouse and I. Nothing extravagant, just high-quality ingredients and a beautiful spread. We couldn’t stop talking about how delicious and satisfying it was!

3 of us stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our cycling trip and found it to be way beyond it's 3 star grading. The rooms are excellent and the shower could not be faulted. The staff are super friendly and provide you with a great breakfast before you walk the very short distance to the beach and the lovely bars and restaurants which line the street beside it. Will definitely be back.

This hotel has just been renovated and reopened. The rooms are SO quiet! There is literally NO noise like in other small old hotels In Cállela . Bed is very comfortable . shower is great! The attention to details from quality sheets to towels is amazing. Highly recommend this jewel. 4 minute walk downhill to beach!! Owners are there everyday. Stayed for 4 nights. We will be back ! for sure!!

Nothing beats a family owned hotel! The owners are incredibly nice and have a great attention to detail. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. The rooms are brand new, modern and spacious. The room service breakfast was very delicious and fresh. I am soooo coming back!

We enjoyed two nights at the end of a great biking trip arranged by Trek and & Ride. Lovely staff, great rooms and wonderful breakfast!
