Hotel Cala del Pi - Adults Only in Platja d'Aro

It is rare in these times to find a truly great hotel, from the time you book through to the time you sadly depart everyone at the hotel has been so wonderful and helpful, the food was lovely the pool great and the spa lovely, the bedroom was amazing with a lovely comfortable bed and all the amenity’s you could ask for what is not to like about this lovely hotel.

Good location, the venue and infrastructure, good design and quality, all working, proper options and infrastructure (gym, Spa, small swimming pool)
Good service and polite staff, clean and tidy rooms. Reception staff is outstanding. True 5 start level
Room is okay size with all is needed. Coffee and tea, some snacks, small fridge and mini bar. Bathroom with heated toilet, plumbing is excellent and all working. Slippers for room and second set for spa, high quality bathrobe

Outdoor pool and recreation infrastructure is excellent. Convenient access to the beach
Restaurant exceptional service, cava and some compliment dishes are nice. Rice with mushrooms, rice with seafoodand, fish soup and also duck leg are fantastic

Spa good quality, 2 types of sauna, jacuzzi, decent side pool with a lot of water massage functions, red light therapy

I am still dreaming of this hotel. The rooms were gorgeous and clean and the bed was so comfortable. It’s a very quiet hotel with a friendly and attentive staff. We used our free two hour spa time and it was amazing! Sauna, steam room, ice room, a very cool pool with a million jets and fountains, and more. I wish I could move in!

This is a perfect adults only hotel in every way! My husband and I enjoyed our short stay there so much that we are already planning a return trip! The property is gorgeous and serene, with speculator sea/ beach views. The spa is unbelievable! The spa circuit left us feeling super refreshed and energized. We also had a couples massage , and I had a facial.. all of which were top notch. The room was spectacular ( we got upgraded to a sea view suite) ! On top of all of this , the hotel staff , from the front desk, to the restaurant servers, to the housekeepers to the bar staff … were so friendly and helpful! The restaurant was extremely accommodating to my dietary issues which was rare during the rest of our trip to Spain. We can’t wait to return to this special and gorgeous property!

From check in, to check out it was perfect. The spa is amazing, the staff are friendly and professional. The small beach is beautiful and the sea is crystal clear. The decor of this hotel creates a unique calm. Highly recommend, this has become one of our favourite five star hotels.

Simply the best hotel in coastal Spain. My love! Perfection of nature, comfort and service, tranquility is in the air, beauty is everywhere.

This is a beautiful resort situated along a special section of the Costa Brava, offering sweeping views of the Mediterranean, an incredible walk/hike path along the coast with access to multiple beaches/coves, and one of the best spa experiences we've ever had. Breakfast was quite good with a variety of pastries, proteins, and fruit. Lunch/dinner dining at the on-site restaurants was disappointing. The menu selection did not vary, the food was just okay, and the service was dull. However! The spa experience was truly exceptional - both in customer service and in experience. The resort's front desk was also super friendly and helpful. And we found the chill-out terrace to be well worth the upgrade. One note about parking: the outdoor upper level under the palm trees should be avoided at all costs. Seabirds nest in the trees above, and your car will be covered in excrement when you leave. We took our rental through two car washes to try to remove it, but it required professional cleaning, and the rental company penalized us for it.

Beautiful resort, but with some caveats
Modern, stylish and very well kept. Lovely pool decks (though pools are small) and the new annex with its suites and bar is stunning. Older rooms are quite small and “sea view” is relative, but the suites are spacious with true privacy and breathtaking views.
Great breakfast, very good restaurant (though pricey), and an excellent spa with saunas, steam baths and adult-only access. Downsides: no real in-house activities, no private beach (just a gate to a small crowded public one), and unfortunately early morning maintenance noise from 6:30 a.m.

A very nice resort: modern, well-maintained and with two attractive outdoor pool areas (though the pools themselves are on the smaller side). The sun deck areas are pleasant, and the recently built annex with its suites and bar is truly stunning—cosy yet classy. Rooms in the older part of the hotel feel rather small, and the advertised “sea view” can be somewhat relative. By contrast, the suites are spacious, beautifully designed, with unobstructed sea views and a real sense of privacy. The restaurant is very good, offering quality cuisine and a decent wine list, though prices are on the higher side. Breakfast is excellent, both in variety and quality. The spa area is another highlight, with several saunas, steam baths, a large pool and jacuzzi; the adults-only policy makes it even more enjoyable. Less convincing, however, is the lack of activities—no bikes, paddles, tennis, boules, or in-house water sports. The hotel also does not have its own beach: there is only a private gate leading to a tiny and overcrowded public beach, so “beachfront” is somewhat misleading. Finally, one disappointing aspect: maintenance work in the gardens and pool areas starts as early as 6:30–6:45 a.m., which makes for an unnecessarily harsh wake-up call.
