This was our second time at this fabulous hotel. It has a wonderful, quiet calmness that envelops you immediately. The property owners have gone to great lengths to preserve the local history of the building itself, Their attention to detail is apparent - every aspect of the hotel is amazing (don’t miss the fabulous culinary options served in the restored pharmacy section of the hotel!). If you’re looking for a well located; quiet and professionally managed property this will deliver.

We stayed here for 1 night on our way to a wedding and wished it was much longer. The hotel is beautiful & the town has many lovely bars and restaurants! The Costa Brava costal area is beyond beautiful- I will definitely be back and staying at this hotel for longer soon as it was a fantastic stay

Serene. Everything about this boutique hotel is calming. They arranged for transportation to and from the train station, and helped with taxis to neighboring towns. The family room for three people was spacious and had a huge bathroom with an amazing walk in shower. We took advantage of a relaxing hour in the caldarium and enjoyed sitting on the roof top terrace. Breakfast was excellent and I cannot say enough about the friendly staff. The hotel is centrally located, perfect for exploring Palafrugell’s shops and restaurants, and an easy cab ride to Lalafranc and Caella de Parafrugelle for beaches, shopping and great food.

Lourdes and Alfred are amazing hosts. We loved learning the history of the building and town. We only stayed one night and wished we could have stayed for a week. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and extremely well appointed. With only 15 rooms, it has all the touches you would expect from a large hotel- well placed outlets near the beds, beautiful and clean linens, welcoming sitting areas, and an attentive staff. Breakfast was elegant and delicious! The hotel feels fancy, but warm and comfortable at the same time. We are so grateful to have experienced the hospitality provided by Lourdes and Alfred. Thank you again!!

This is why I love Mr and Mrs Smith, because they help you discover incredible boutique hotels like this one. We stayed one night, but I wish it was longer. Excellent location, recommendations and incredible service in a beautifully designed and comfortable, yet unfussy hotel. You can tell Lourdes, Alfred and the rest of their family put their soul into this. Breakfast was excellent, and we loved the restored apothecary and view from the rooftop. Responsiveness and service via WhatsApp (even after we left) made us feel really well taken care of.

Joanna and I just got back from a fantastic stay at the Hotel Can Mascort in Palafrugell, From the second we walked in, we felt like we were visiting family, thanks to the hosts, Alfred and Lourdes. Their warmth and genuine hospitality are what truly make this place special. The hotel itself is a beautiful boutique eco spot, but what makes it so charming is the personal touch Alfred and Lourdes bring to everything. You can tell they're passionate about what they do and truly love sharing their knowledge of the local area. We also have to give a huge thank you to their daughter, Anna, whose kindness really added to the welcoming vibe. And Marina was absolutely wonderful—so attentive, friendly, and always there to help, making our trip even better. If you're ever in Palafrugell, we highly recommend staying here!

What a beautiful hidden gem! We stayed at this beautiful boutique hotel here during our time in Palafrugell. It had a welcoming feel from the moment we stepped inside. The owners have a lovely positive energy creating the most relaxing and comfortable atmosphere for their guests. It’s right in the middle of the centre with parking close by. It’s clean and fresh with a modern feel combined with some of the Spanish traditions. We had a wedding in Mas Torroella which was a 20 minute drive and the beach which was a ten minute drive. Location was perfect for food, shopping, historical attractions and the beach. Hotel has a caldarium which you can book to have some time to yourself and relax. There are also free teas and coffees available during the stay in the lounge area plus an honesty bar where you can serve yourselves with various beverages and pay for them when you leave. Would recommend this hotel and would definitely visit again!

Incredible stay. Worth coming to Spain for alone. Accommodation and breakfast were exquisite. It felt like staying with family and they treated our children like their own. Can’t say enough about how special this place felt. We will return whenever possible. A fantastic experience and close to all of the beautiful beaches that Costa Brava has to offer. A true Spanish gem 💎
