No A/C in the room, waited 2h for a fix. Owner offered another room: no sea view, no terrace, same price. When I was about to leave offered a 20% discount but got angry. We preferred to leave. Great location, worst hotel experience

Nice little hotel that is in a phenomenal location. Yes, it's probably closer to "a no frills experience" but for the price I think you are gettgin a decent deal. The staff were super nice, rooms were ok, though I would say that if you struggle with heat, lack of AC might be an issue. It wasn't for us as we barely spent any time during the day, but it still did got quite warm at night.

If you're arriving by car, there is a secure parking 2 min away that costs 12 EUR per 24h, however after a few days I manged to find a spots on the streets that was basically free. Llafranc seemed very secure so had no problem with leaving the car.

Overall, I think it's hard to beat price to quality ratio.

Wonderful staff, delicious breakfast! Kind and helpful young folks at the desk in the evenings.

Expensive for what it is. No A/C in our room so it was hot and stuffy, we only had windows to open without screens, so mosquitos came inside. Hallways were somewhat dark and had fast motion sensors so the halls were always dark as you first enter.

Wifi was OK but only worked in the lobby.

Quiet during the week and busier on weekends. Nice location for walking and parking, though expensive, was safe and easy.

Best time, sea view on the front fantastic, good value for money. Indoor spa swimming pool. Plenty to eat for breakfast, can’t go hungry. Good walking distance to shops and restrooms. There is a shop like our tiger shop with lots of nick knacks, nearly every restaurant makes a paella. Great food,

A simple hotel but where we have been very, very good. The treatment of the owners great because they are charming. There is no elevator, but the location makes up for it. Recommended to spend a few quiet days.

I was very disappointed with the hotel: Many years ago I came there with my daughter for the lunch menu when we were passing through Llafranc and this year I wanted to spend three nights there again. The surprise was that they no longer have a kitchen. When we go up to the room (second floor without elevator), we find that there is no air conditioning, that the shower works when it wants to and that everything has a stale air. Although they have given a hand of paint, it does not hide the dampness of the walls... Walls that allow you to hear perfectly what they do and say in the surrounding rooms. And all this paying €145 per night!!
I will return to Llafranc, but I do not plan to return to Monte Carlo.

Third without elevator. The room is a good size with a balcony. It lacked a lot of maintenance. Correct for a one star hotel. We booked it at the last minute through Booking and the price was high for the benefits.
