The Hotel Playalinda is one of two hotels that shares the facilities with another Hotel the Playa Sol. The Hotel Playalinda is definitely the better of the two hotels. From the moment you walk into reception it feels amazing. We had a family room and it was huge with two double debs. The bathroom is a good size and the balcony gave us views over the pool and water slides aswel as the beach and we could even see the mountains in the distance.. we was in room 320.. there are 3 lifts including a glass lift which was nice. The drinks are amazing Cruzcampo on tap and the Cocktails are lovely especially the Pina Colada and Mojitos.. they use all the Premium brands in the cocktails like Smirnoff, Absolute, Beefeater Gin, Bacardi etc.. even Baileys.. so all the drinks are lovely.. free packets off Lays crisps and cheatos and nuts from the bar. The El Patio restaurant offers a warm homely feel and on the whole the food is good although a little tip get there early as sometimes the food on the hot plate can go cold quickly. Always something for the kids too Burgers, Hotdogs, Pizza every night, chicken breast, fries, pasta, spaghetti etc.. always good options for adults too.. meat and fish dishes and the puddings and cakes are good. The facilities are brilliant.. there is a beautiful pool which is huge surrounded by little bridges, palm trees, and some water slides in the middle.. there is also a smaller pool and a Jacuzzi which are nice.. but the main pool is simply stunning. The waterslides there are great and they are quick. There is two slower slides on the main pool for smaller kids. The daily activity programme is brilliant and the animation team are great. Waterpolo, aqua fit, table tennis and other activities to keep you busy. The evening entertainment is mixed some nights better than others. The hotel is probably about 90% Spanish and 10% British but that didn't really matter as they was friendly enough.. there are a lot of sunbeds but as the facilities are shared with the other hotel they do go quickly so make sure you get there about 9.45am just before the pool opens to reserve your sunbeds. Overall a really good family hotel and plenty going on to keep the kids occupied. Also the hotel is right on the beach which is ideal. Hotel is about 30 minutes from Almeria airport and about 2 hours from Malaga Airport. Brilliant hotel highly recommend.

Spent 7 days at Playalinda, and the level of service is nothing short of excellent (and I am generally picky). The food in El Patio is of very high quality. Always plentiful and fresh. The staff there works very hard to ensure the customer is satisfied. Special thanks to Samuel but everyone is very kind and helpful. The resort is definitely kids oriented. There are great pools and toboggans for the kids. Lifeguards all around to ensure everyone is safe. Special thanks to Jose, Fernando and all of them. Recommended!

We (family of 4) spent 11 days here , and from the beginning the reception team was friendly, welcoming and looking forward to help, nothing was to much trouble for this department. Food was great, plenty of choices,clean restaurant and once again friendly stuff. Crapes section clever and practical idea.
Bar stuff, brilliant brilliant and I have to mention here Alejandro, Juan, Victor, plus Victor from restaurant, nice people, I do hope I will meet them again sometimes in this life, I already miss your coffee.
House keeping department was on top with everything, this hotel is clean and this is because this "Shadow" department,brilliant again.
Pools, fabulous, those masive slides are a fun experience and the water was spot on, plus that safeguarding team was in charge at all time.

I Went to almeria for a week and stayed in playalinda .. spotless clean every single staff member was so nice we had bed and breakfast it was fabulous. They had lots of entertainment going on in the hotel, it’s a stone throw away from the beach and I’d highly recommend the spa they I had a facial it was to die for ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very nice place, Staff is amazing, services are very good, good location and facilities. Children really enjoy the animation group in mini club, nights are very funny aswell, children and adult can enjoy the show. very recomended
