Mas Palou in Roses

Really very disappointed. Room not ready when we arrived. Unpleasant surprise to be in a dark cellar overlooking a wall and a passage. Whirlpool bath more than critical. Moldy tile joints. Moldy nozzles. Broken shower hose. Didn't sleep a wink all night. Every ten minutes a motor would start just behind our headboard. Behind the wall is the spa's technical room. We changed rooms the next night. A little better in terms of clarity. On the other hand, WC leading into the bedroom just separated by a small wall! Super glam, hello privacy... window just above the bathtub And without shutter. A simple curtain. Long live the exhibition! And finally swimming pool not clean with two parasols which no longer open. Broken. And very average breakfast....etc... Room price 180€.

Arrived on Saturday August 13, 22. Magnificent setting next to Roses. We have room 17. We come home and there... Nightmares in the room. A very strong musty smell. The bottom of the walls has traces of mold and even the plaster is coming off in certain places (see photos). No decoration in the room, a blind from another age. We strongly show our dissatisfaction to change rooms or get a refund. We are put in room 13. The room is better. There is a jacuzzi. The colors of the jacuzzi are yellowish (old). There is a knock on our door and 2 staff members come to tell us that they made a mistake and that they cannot upgrade us. We move again and we are taken to room 18. (On our way there we meet new travelers entering room 17!!!). Our new room is as austere as 17, but "only" traces of mold in the bathroom on the tile joints. Spotlights on the ceiling, nothing on the walls. (Finishing the walls worthy of a garage: dressing with mortar and a coat of white paint on top) Cobwebs on the window frames. One morning we intentionally left toothpaste in the sink (by the way we never had a cup in the bathroom, we had to get cups from breakfast), when we returned the toothpaste was still there ! ! ! It actually stayed there all week, and so did the cobwebs! ! ! The bedroom window overlooks the swimming pool beach, it is impossible to raise the blind during the day due to the view. I'm not talking about the sound insulation which is catastrophic. For 123.32 euros per day, I recommend going to a modest hotel chain rather than staying in this 3-star place...shooting!!!??? I strongly advise against this establishment which has no scruples about accommodating customers in rooms presenting criteria of indecency and, moreover, the staff and the manager are not very friendly.
