The main thing with this place was it's potential. It has a lot going for it primarily its location, its been substantially renovated and its got good amenities. The staff is really friendly and helpful and the restaurant downstairs is quite good and the king bed was really comfortable. So what's with a 3 star rating? Well this is where you see some of the cracks of an old building and maybe not a...
Nice hotel but there is no bell boy to carry the bags and no room service
Solid room. The style was a little funky but it was nice and in a great location. Service was a bit inconsistent. Some staff bent over backwards, in other instances we had to ask several times for things (eg to have ac fixed) or they couldn’t answer basic questions and didn’t take initiative to get answers. That said, I’d stay there again and these are things that are easy enough to fix.
It’s in a fantastic and central location with a bus stop around the corner which takes you directly to Alhumbra. The hotel itself is nice. The room was kinda old but the bathrooms were fully renovated and modern. Kinda half renovated/half not. But it was a very good experience regardless. Thanks.
Superb location, luxury hotel in the heart of Granada overlooking the lovely plaza Isabel La Catolica statue and fountain, you’re practically in the Cathedral and within a few minutes’ walking distance from anywhere you want to go. Lovely friendly staff, especially the super helpful Mariana who contacted me after we checked out and left the city informing me I’ve forgotten a shirt in the room, supported...
I stayed two weeks ago with my partner, and we loved the hotel. The room was very spacious, and everything was very clean, with plenty of little touches to make our stay perfect. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Plus, we were on the ground floor, so there was no noise.

Really amazing value and atmosphere as well as location, very professional friendly staff and substantial discounts on the booking site we used ;) the cafe is also high quality and the only thing that might be an issue for some is the front desk not being staffed after 9pm, the keys work great all hours though so it’s really just a restriction on how late one can collect bags after checkout. Would...
Large, airy clean room with balcony with views just beneath the Al Alhambra , proactive and friendly reception staff. Air conditioning was great for both warm and cool. Good, strong hot showers. Peaceful.
Cool room layout, with a nice view overlooking the stream running through town. The view of the Alhambra was limited, but the view in general was charming. Walls were a bit thin, but in general the hotel was quiet. Great and very helpful staff. Superb adjoining coffee place with great food.
I had a wonderful stay at Shine Albayzín! The location is truly exceptional — just a short walk to the Alhambra and the Hammam, which made my trip to Granada so comfortable and enjoyable. Antonio was especially kind and helpful throughout my stay, and I’m really grateful for his support. If I could make one small suggestion, it would be to have thicker curtains, as a bit of light came in from the...
Wonderful suite with balcony, very roomy. Front desk staff were very helpful and check in after hours was easy.
The hotel's location is perfect. It's very close to restaurants and historical sites. The location is so perfect that you can see the Alhambra palace from your room. In the mornings, you wake up to the sound of water flowing through the historic canal and the chirping of birds. The hotel was clean, and the staff was attentive. I want to come to Granada in the winter, stay at the same hotel, and experience...

The rooms were standard and relatively clean. The service was competent and friendly. The soundproofing is practically non-existent, and given its location next to a busy avenue, I had immense difficulty falling asleep.
We stayed the last weekend of February, from Thursday to Sunday, for room only. We chose it for its location and price, and it was a great choice. Although the hotel has parking, there's one about 50 meters away, where we left our car during our stay, and the metro station is just 100 meters away, in case you need it. The attention and treatment received by the staff was wonderful, and the room was...
Prepare to be interrogated and DO bring your passport as an ID card won't do. This is a new law I suppose, however the receptionist isn't too helpful with the process. He doesn't speak good English and has trouble copying words into the system with correct spelling. We were told to reserve on the website and then complete booking at reception, but do be aware the card machine seems to reject contactless...
Very thin walls Paper walls. All night long, I could hear the neighbor snoring. Horrible.
Average hotel, very central, with a large, clean room and the reception staff super friendly, they inform you about everything. The breakfast is very simple but good. You have the option of taking parking, which is difficult to park in that area. I would recommend it again because of how quiet it is.
Hotel Ana Maria, Granada! We had a great time, centrally located, everything nearby. Everything was clean, and the staff were all very kind! Breakfast was available for a fee; if you wanted a buffet, it was €6 per person. A simple, family atmosphere! We'll be back!

Shoutout to MAYA. Her services was superb!! Please give her more raise please.
The room was nice and spacious. Luggage could be stored at the front desk. The hotel breakfast was okay, but after staying several nights in a row, I didn't feel like eating it the second day. The air conditioning wasn't very warm, so I caught a bit of a cold.
We got a less-than-ideal room right behind the restaurant. The hotel looks better in the photos. There's paid parking nearby.
The hotel is very well located in the city center. The personnel is very helpful and kind. Our room was big enough for 3 and very clean. The only remark is about the window blinds that were broken and impossible to manage.
The room has a great location, within walking distance of the Alhambra Palace and the city center. The decor is relatively new, and I highly recommend this hotel when traveling to Granada!
Located in the heart of the old town, with a bus stop right outside, the bedding and toiletries are top-notch. Both the rooms and bathrooms have small balconies and floor-to-ceiling windows with street views. The receptionist is very helpful and attentive in explaining the breakfast and relaxation areas. There's a large multi-area balcony on the 4th floor, and the vegetarian restaurants near the hotel...

We stayed at the El Ladron De Agua for 3 nights in March 2026. Olga and Miguel made sure our stay was perfect in every way. The room extremely well-appointed and lacked for nothing. The suite was also very clean, quiet and affordable. I can't recommend this hotel enough.
I am so glad I chose El Ladrón de Agua from the many options for places to stay in Granada. The building is beautiful, a couple of minutes from the Plaza Nueva, and my apartment was simply wonderful - spacious, comfortable and beautifully furnished and equipped. I particularly liked the fact that all around the building there are references to Spanish and Andalucian culture. The hosts had provided...
This place is amazing—very new, clean, and beautifully furnished. The owners are incredibly welcoming and generous. We requested early check-in and late check-out, and they not only accommodated us but also upgraded us to a two-bedroom apartment at no extra charge. I absolutely adored this apartment hotel!🌟 We stayed in a beautiful apartment with a gorgeous living room + kitchen with everything you need. Great location, walkable from/to everywhere in Granada. Views of Alhambra.
This hotel is bursting with charm! The bed was very comfortable, but most importantly, the pillows! I have a neck issue so it was such a relief to have some support. The staff, especially Maya, are so welcoming and helpful, they speak very good english. I couldnt say enough good things about this hotel
Beautiful location. Very friendly check in staff. A bit disappointed in our room. View to the Alhambra was limited by the windowed structure on the balcony which was not in any of the room photos when booking. Quite loud street noise and the bathroom is a bit worn (broken floor tile).
Large double suite with extra bed and lounging chairs. Grand traditional style, facing Alhambra, with a Spanish terrace window. Very romantic, tile everywhere. There was an elevator, though hard to access - so we used it solely for schlepping our luggage to 3rd floor (we're in our 60s) - thus we did have a one-flight stair climb to get to the reception area. Despite it's charm there were no "amenities...
Beautiful property with stunning views. The balcony with views of Alhambra were absolutely phenomenal. I had a medical emergency while staying and Justine who works the front desk was incredibly helpful to me with assisting me in canceling reservations and finding me a suitable replacement. Very greatful to her for all of her help.

The pool wasn't available as it was not a summer season. Great view of Alhambra!
Loved this place. Felt like home. Very nice patio to have your coffee, bathroom was great, shower was ao powerful. The mini fridge was great to stire a few yummy tomatoes and jamon for snacks.
The service was excellent. Luisa was waiting for us to arrive to explain everything in detail, both inside and outside the property, where to eat, what to see... such lovely people. Our room, the Comares suite, was wonderful: a comfortable bed, a huge marble bathroom, and a small but pleasant patio where you could chat outdoors.
The house is old, but very clean. It has a small swimming pool, which is a great experience. You can see the A palace. It's a very quiet and private experience. The breakfast is not available, which is not very convenient. You need to walk down to find a place to eat.
I imagined finding the hotel to be a little easier than it was. I used the recommended car parking Ave Maria Vistillas and found it very difficult to get to due to the street signs and vehicle restrictions in Granada. Once parked there is a decent walk which takes you to quite a flight of stairs serving the area of Albaicin but also providing access to hotels and b&b’s. Candil Realejo is positioned...
The hotel operates with a self-reception system. There's no permanent staff. We had trouble checking in upon arrival, but contacting the hotel manager quickly resolved the issue. He was helpful and understanding. The hotel was clean and tidy, with nice decor. It's a boutique hotel in a historic district. We enjoyed our stay.

Clean & spacious apartment, convenient location, walkable to loads of tourists attractions! Highly recommended!
Great value for being so central! Lovely staff, comfortable room and a great view overlooking the square. The only thing is that there was a strange loud sound coming from the vent every 5 or so minutes, which should be checked out. We opened the balcony door a little during the night, which made it stop. But it might bother other guests in the future.
I had a big beautiful lovely room this time, my third stay at Nest Style. But the standout moment was when I misplaced my wallet in my room and the cleaning lady kindly spent at least 20 minutes of her valuable time helping me look for it. Perfect location with helpful and friendly staff. You can walk anywhere in the city center and bus stop for the Alhambra. The room was cleaned daily.
Very convenient location. The apt was clean and had nice kitchen amenities. Decor needed some help and the shower an upgrade.

Poor lighting since no window to outside. Furniture was worn. Wish making coffee was simpler. Otherwise we appreciated the lift, the shower was great, bed comfortable and there were enough outlets except bathroom. Good WIFI and wonderful staff throughout our stay
Who ever has been writing these negative reviews needs their head checking. I almost cancelled after reading them and I'm so glad I didn't because I thought the staff, the hotel and the area were all very good. I booked on booking.com and apart from a few minor things like the shower and keypad everything else was spot on. Very clean and well organised.
Ignore the 1 star Karens! Room is good, parking is 3mins walk not 10, pool is on 1st floor not across the street 😅 We paid €37 for a night, it would have to be 3x that to deserve complaints
Great location. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Comfortable room although bathroom very small and difficult to manoeuvre around. Basic continental Breakfast served to your room. Parking available in underground car park just down the road. Alhambra not far from hostel - 25 minute walk (up hill) and centre about a 20 minute walk along the river.
Clean and spacious. The complex looks as though it is in the process of being renovated from a large house or block of apartments. The style is modern minimalist. Breakfast was self serve and basic, enjoyed on an enclosed terrace. I would happily return and recommend.

Friendly supervisors, cleaned place, near to everything you need.
Nothing fancy. Just a youth hostel. It does what it says without pretentiously suggesting otherwise.
This was a last minute booking as our other hotel cancelled on us. The price was very reasonable considering we booked it the night before. Free parking and free breakfast is available to all the guests however the breakfast is very standard. Shower facilities are decent but very tight and claustrophobic. Staff were helpful and the location was a 30 minute walk from the main attractions in Granada

A yummy breakfast is included, and the location is perfect- a few steps from the square overlooking the Alhambra. Delicious restaurants are nearby, also with views of the Alhambra. The hotel booked our flamingo show and our Alhambra tour.
The room was lovely, with a little sitting area and the hosts were incredibly kind. It’s a family owned and run place and they are delightful. One of us was sick during the stay, which is never fun, and the hosts were willing to go out of their way to help. If you are coming by car pay close attention to the arrival directions. Nice spot and location in the city. Only reason I gave four instead of five is the walls are quite thin and you can hear your neighbors a decent amount.

The great location is worth the effort it takes to drag your luggage here! We had a quiet room right off the entrance and it was cozy and perfect for one night. Tony was so helpful and breakfast was a treat.
We loved staying at the Posada de Quijada! The location was excellent and the rooms were very nice and homey. We contracted a stomach bug from a restaurant somewhere in Grenada and had to spend all day in our room but it wasnt that bad, because they rooms are so comfortable and have great terraces/balconies. I would highly recommend, I thought it was a great value and amazing hospitality.
Great little gem in Granada, outstanding service from the hosts, great private patio, fantastic breakfast and very quiet location. Perfect to enjoy Granada and rest away from the bustling at night.
This is a lovely property hosted by a lovely lady! The room, the courtyard, the breakfast all excellent. Ainhoa , the owner, assisted getting us a table at a close by restaurant and she packed us sandwiches for our hike at Camineto del Rey. I will say that the location is very hilly if that is a concern. I would stay there again for sure!
