Granada, P.º de los Basilios, 2, Genil (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Brilliant location, close to all interesting sites. Only disappointment was the cooked breakfast I.e scrambled eggs/bacon etc were not very warm, which was a shame because there was plenty of it. Everything else was great.
This hotel is a converted monastery, so it might be a bit old, but it has a really great atmosphere! The staff at the front desk were also very friendly! The only downside is that the parking lot is a bit far; you have to walk for about 10 minutes with your luggage 😅 If you're staying here, I suggest getting out of your car on the main road in front of the entrance to drop off your luggage first, because...
Rooms are nice but a bit on the small side. Located next to elementary school, so noise can be an issue. Overall good, not great.
The hotel is housed in a former monastery; the complex includes a church with an active congregation, and next to it, on the same grounds, is a school with various sports facilities used daily by the school and presumably also by clubs – yet there was no significant noise disturbance, neither in the mornings nor in the evenings. The hotel building's interior has been rather blandly renovated, and the...
I highly recommend this place for its friendly service and excellent value. However, please note one essential point and one drawback. The essential point is that you must book a room with a terrace to fully appreciate its charm. The drawback, of course, only applies to those traveling by car: there's no parking. There's a good parking spot within five minutes, but as of November 2025, it costs 24...
Great Location! Nice but small rooms with modern showers. Don’t expect to be greeted with open arms. At dinner, they ignored me and fed everyone but me. I waited for 40 minutes then became furious when I had to flag down a waiter who had like 100 people to tend too. I stormed out. Eat elsewhere. Many bars and restaurants on the main road with great food.

Overall good. Perfect view for Mount Nevada and tram outside the hotel. Only problem is everything is too old.
My stay at M.A. Princesa Ana Hotel was a very pleasant and comfortable experience. The hotel offers a calm and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for relaxing after a long day. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well organized, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and always available to help with any request, which made me feel truly welcomed...
We booked a double room with extra bed, but only two beds were provided. On the good side, the location and cleanliness was top tier. Checking in took some time but the receptionist was very nice.
It's clean and nicely furnished, but since it's not a business hotel, there is no refrigerator, safe, or refrigerator.
The facility is getting old, there are some strange smells
Excellent staff and rooms. My mum and dad recommended this and quite rightly so. A very posh and high end establishment

Superb location, Spacious Room and Helpful Staff.
I arrived the hotel earlier than check-in time on the day, thinking to drop the luggage and come back later during the day but the staff Clara was very kind and helpful let me check in early because the room is ready. It is very kind gesture.

A great stay! The lovely reception has upgrade our room. Good location, but quiet. Bedding are comfortable. Very big room.
Hotel with a good breakfast and ample parking. It is located directly in front of the marina, and we enjoyed a nice view of the sea and the Rock of Gibraltar. The location is very convenient, especially if you plan to visit Gibraltar, as it is within walking distance.
However, the room was quite dated, as is the hotel overall. It does not feel like a four-star property, and the price is high considering...
The room was so spacious and clean.
All the staff were kind.
This hotel located downtown , so we could walk to shops and restaurants .
There is no lights around a table.
I would like to recommend anyone to stay at this hotel, whatever age. Food is great, very plentiful buffet with all dietary requirements considered. Drinks were a fair price too. The hotel is very popular with visitors, and there are people from all over the world staying there, especially sports teams that are seated at the back of the dinning hall. Lifts always worked, spacious rooms and very...
Hotel needs a fresh is getting old the location is perfect to walk to Gibraltar The size of the room is big. But beds are bit uncomfortable. The front desk is not super friendly but they are ok. The restaurant staff are super friendly the supervisor or manager she was super helpful and friendly. One of the best hotels especially for the money! Beautiful and big room with a nice view! Located near the center! Had a very worm welcome by the nice staff! The breakfast was top notch, with plenty of options! Worth every penny!
Our best staying in Granada! This hotel really care of the client professionally. They even gave us the last floor as ai requested because of my special vacation with my girlfriend. The details are visible, starting from the cleanliness and the perfume of the air of the whole main floor. The employees are professional, welcoming and helpful.

Excellent hotel room, big in size, simple and modern design, thoroughly cleaned every day. Good location, near the university campus, walking distance to old town and main shopping street. There is a nice restaurant near the hotel called Antonio Perez serving great food with good price.

Great hotel! Very elegant atmosphere and warm decorations in the room. The service is professional and warm, amenities demands are met in no time without any problems. The room service pizza is great, so does the breakfast. Many choices of local pastry and cold cuts. The location is close to the railway station, served by trams, and at the boundary of the old town. Clean room, very close to historical city center.
Pretty unexceptional- did the job for a night but if I had to stay there for my entire holiday I wouldn’t be happy. Lobby is tiny and
Well maintained, very helpful staff, great price
The beds are terrible, the TV is small and not Smart, there is no parking, the elevator is small and you have to wait.
Superb location, smack between shopping , shops & supermarket. Rooms are clean quite spacious for a boutique hotel. Decor slightly dated. But overall quite comfortable. My room has a bathtub that's comes with buid in jacuzzi function, I'm impressed.
The hotel is pretty central in the tourist area but it was still quiet. I was on the 6th floor and had a great view. Some parts of the room looked damaged and the hotel could use a little updating but not a problem.

Very good breakfast, clean room, friendly staff. Great stay.
A fancy old european hotel located near a really old district in Granada. The room is spacious enough and the bathroom is fancy. Everything is clean though they are old but well-maintained. It is not very near to bus stop and need some walking.
The hotel is a bit dated; they gave me a quadruple room, which is a bit odd. Although it could use a refresh, the hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of the city center.
A very good hotel for a short stay in Granada. We'll definitely be back!
Professional and very friendly staff, excellent welcome, large and very clean room, central location.

Overall a great experience. The room was spacious, had a good desk and was in a central location.
Cute location, but noisy and no shades on the windows which face the apartments, so someone could literally look right in as you shower. Breakfast was okay but there are also vending machines which is nice. Close to most notable tourist locations and plenty of nearby restaurants.
Perfect location, great prices and the staff at the reception was extremely professional and give us lots of informations. Only thing that can be better will be more choice and quality for the breakfast.
We stayed at an Airbnb inside Hotel YIT Casablanca, and it was a great experience. The space was spacious, very clean, and had all the necessary amenities. The location is excellent — right in front of a park, within walking distance to the Hassan II Mosque, and close to supermarkets and shops. It was quiet, comfortable, and convenient. Definitely a great place to stay while visiting Casablanca.
A very average hotel made great by the amazing staff. let me start with the good stuff, more of the average later; the hotel is situated really close to all of the main attractions, Alhambra, the Cathedral and so many more. The price per night is extremely competitive given the central location. I stayed for 8 nights so you get a real sense of the place. The place is incredibly clean, the cleaners...

Overall, a centrally located hotel with a spacious room and good climate control, but several design flaws, maintenance issues, and misleading details affected the experience

You can't do better for location. Smack in the middle of endless restaurants. Our room was smallish but very clean. The desk clerks, Kathy and Roberto were wonderful. Kathy gave us lots of helpful tips for dining and visiting the Alhambra. Recommend this hotel highly.
Hotel is clean. Great location. Internet/wifi not working in the rooms 309/310 - disappointing as you have to go downstairs to the lobby to access WiFi.
Visited 28/11/2025 - Great hotel just off the Main Street, stayed to visit the town and the Alhambra which is a 15min walk away

Perfect location for Granada tour. And old hotel but we'll maintained and had cozy atmosphere. The host was very kind and helpful. My kids were excited with the duplex structute of the room. Might be a bit noisy if other guest comes in and out late at night since the room was not very soundproof.

The location is really great and the room heats up well. The bed was comfortable, which I appreciated. The only thing that really bothered me was the shower head—it was moldy, and I’m quite picky about little hygiene details like that.
Breakfast was okay for me, I didn’t have high expectations, and it filled me up. The only downside was the coffee, which was unfortunately quite bad.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Excellent stay! The location was perfect, close to everything we needed. The breakfast was nice as well, but what really stood out was the staff: incredibly helpful, polite, and genuinely welcoming.
We lost our power adapters, and they immediately offered us a couple to use. When we weren’t entirely sure about the room we had booked, they kindly showed us another option without hesitation...
I booked this hotel for a one-night stay to see the Alhambra, and the location is great. Despite being a three-star hotel, it's incredibly clean. I highly recommend it.
Hotel was at center of Granada and all the attractions are accessible within 30 minutes walk. Staff was really helpful and guided us briefly.
Location was great and room looks like the photo. The main issue of this hotel is the breakfast. I paid extra to get breakfast but they only start the breakfast from 8am so I couldn't get them in both days. Alhambra opens at 8.30am so there are tourists need to leave hotel earlier. I have travelled a lot but haven't seen any hotels offering breakfast only after 8am. This was a big waste of money.
Very happy about our stay. #1 the location was spot on! It was a quick and easy walk to centro but was not loud at all from the street noise. AC in the room was cranking so that was very nice to be able to comfortably sleep! Staff was super friendly and for the price the rooms were excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Great location, only a 7-8 minute walk to the Alhambra. The restaurant also has beautiful views and the hotel has an Arabian feel to it. However, the hotel is a bit old and the facilities are showing their age. The restaurant staff were very friendly, but the front desk seemed a bit indifferent, possibly due to a high number of guests checking in.
So, so satisfied! Definitely book a city view room; the view alone is worth the price. I initially booked a larger, newly renovated room, but when I got in, it faced the street, and the bathtub was visible to passersby. I negotiated a change to a smaller room with an older bathroom, but the city view was amazing, and it even had a small balcony where you could stand outside and look around. It was...
overall, it is a 4 out of 5 experience
Overall, the property is beautiful and the old palace aesthetic fits perfectly within Granada. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, pleasant views, and high-quality, upscale bathrooms.
We found the staff to be very friendly, but seemed stretched a bit thin considering the hotel was very busy and there were large groups that required extra attention.
The breakfast was standard. The bar food...
This is a 5 star hotel on all aspects other than 3 very important ones.
1: There is no gym or weight room. In my opinion, this is completely unacceptable for a hotel of this size.
2: There is no room designated temperature control, so you are at the mercy of the general hotel’s temperature. We went in December while the outdoor temp was around 10 C, and the indoor temperature was probably around 2...

Very centrally located, the beds are very comfortable and the facilities are good, as expected for the hotel's category. In my room, there was no street noise, even though it was right in the city center, but you can hear everything from the neighboring rooms.
Excellent value for money, I would stay again.
The location is good, but the facilities and cleanliness are very poor. It's okay if you're just using it as a place to sleep after being outside all day.
The hotel has a great location in the city center, about a ten-minute walk from the cathedral and royal chapel. It's very clean every day and quiet at night. There's a common area on the first floor with a kettle and microwave. There's a coffee shop on the sixth floor offering à la carte breakfast, but I didn't try it.
This was OK but not great. Room (108) was very dark and we found it quite noisy. We were disappointed not to have the facility to make a hot drink in our room.
However, it was OK for a couple of nights.

We picked this hotel for it's proximity to the Alhambra complex and truly we needed less than 5 minutes to walk to Generalife (the main ticket pavilion). At 8:30am we had the Jardin all to ourselves. How romantic is that 😊.
Also, our room had a great view of the Alhambra which was lovely at night.
Kudos to the super helpful night manager and staff who gave us touristy advice despite our ungodly checkin...
old Amenities but good location
Few metres away to entry of Al hambra.
Staff really helpful and informative on navigating us within Granada
Very lack of power point. Have to charge from toilet and behind tv cabinet.
Away from central. Parking at alhambra with additional charge.
No tissue inside room. Only toilet tissue.
Only suits to those intend to go to alhambra.
* Very friendly & helpful hotel staff
* Hotel room was spacious & clean
* Very good breakfast
* Perfect location in front of the Alhambra, bus stop to the city center at 100m (1.6€ on way, every 10min)
The hotel is right across from the Alhambra, and the window looked over a small part of the grounds. This added a restful aspect to the room.
However, as a result of its location, hotel wasn't that close to other sites, so we had to take taxis or buses to them.
It is near the Alhambra. So it is convenient for getting to the Alhambra’s front gate, but not very convenient otherwise. Depending on the time of day, it might be hard to get something to eat in that area. It was easy enough to get a taxi or a bus to take you into town and back, though. Everything was fine. Very large bed, cafeteria for dinner, close to an area with services, staff were average, not particularly friendly.
stayed for 3 nights with family in December: good, neighborhood is not lively but train station nearby is plus, just a few places to eat incl. pizzeria. Room was so-so, with strange bathroom door (no isolation), no chairs, quite depressive in general; service and breakfast is ok.
Very basic room, extremely strange and uncomfortable thing with bathroom door that can't be shut completely. Very long and uncomfortable pillows, room corresponds more 3*, not 4. Not a single chair in the room.

Enjoyed our two-day stay in a Superior Double Room. Spacious and elegant. Parking 5 minutes away in parkade on Angel Ganivet (very tight). Helpful front desk staff.
The rustic charm of this place and friendly staff would normally make this a better score but the property has paper thin walls, is in a noisy area (partly because of construction work) and the bathroom did have slight sewage odour despite the valiant efforts of the housekeeping staff. I would not rule this out as an option however.
A charming hotel in a beautiful old building that has been lovingly restored. White internal decor works really well. Greqt location on a street with many restaurant choices. Whilst tucked away it is only a short walk into mainstream Granada.
