If you have a room with a balcony, the view from there is lovely.
Now for the downsides.
The accommodation feels a bit dated. The overall condition of the place gives off an old and worn-out vibe. If you look closely, you can definitely feel that it's old and not very clean.
Other hotels always had an electric kettle as standard, but La Rambla didn't. I was able to request one from reception, but it was in a quite dirty condition, to the point where I couldn't use it to boil water. When I did boil water, lime scale residue floated around, and the inside and spout of the kettle were simply too dirty.
I wasn't satisfied with the responses I received from reception when asking questions or making requests; they often just said it couldn't be done or wasn't available. I even tried to exchange the kettle, but they didn't have another one, so I couldn't get a replacement.
The police stayed at our side because they saw what happened, and in THE NEXT DAY one lady who works there, saying was manager, called the police against us saying we were problematic for the night before, and she wasn’t there in the moment, making one big trouble and calling the police again, this time was a surprise because it was solved already.
Is a good place to have that kind of people working there, is definitely not her place there. Hope they change it asap to comeback and have a nice staying.
