Nice place for families with kids
Great place for families , clean and lots of pool areas. Close to the sea. Easy access and food was good. Somewhat noisy in the buffee area but it was ok after all.
They are trying really hard to keep it going but unfortunately for us we will not go back! It is TOO crowded. The food in the buffet is not good. Beds were uncomfortable ( for us )
We only had breakfast and only ate one lunch at the pool restaurant. We only ate once because we didn't like any of the four dishes we ordered and it was overpriced
The air conditioning didn't work well in the bedroom which meant I slept poorly for seven nights. It was way too hot and it was very noisy. Cleaning was normal but not done daily
Nothing more, nothing less!
Overall a perfectly okay hotel. Cozy surroundings with low houses and nice green areas. The standard of the rooms was okay but no more
Shows and all the entertainments at night were AMAZING
There is just one small thing I would like to mention: instead of serving cocktails and coffee in cardboard cups, which tend to break at the bottom, it would be great to find a better alternative
The animation team was very active and friendly, especially with the guests and children, creating a fun and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the stay
I would especially like to mention Lenuta, who provided us with helpful information about the restaurant and made our experience even better
Lovely hotel and staff. Situated in a great spot right on the beach, rooms immaculate and included safe and aircon in price
Enjoyed the holiday, staff very nice.Room as expected, quiet as requested.End of corridor near lift loved it.
The room was presented very well, clean and comfortable, which added to the overall positive experience

A special mention to Juan and Nicole and the whole team at the beach cabanas working tirelessly under the sun, always with a smile. Carlos, always so attentive, kind and genuine with an incredible team at the Beach Club
Maite, she’s everywhere! Always so helpful, caring and attentive. Yeray at reception — friendly, polite and always ready to help. And Rosi, from the early mornings at breakfast, she makes you feel truly special
We’re so excited about the upcoming changes and new name! But what truly makes this place so special are the people who work there. They’re the heart and soul that make every holiday unforgettable
Jose and Dani, you’re both such a delight, always so charming and friendly. María, my “music twin” from Hugel, so lovely and full of good vibes. Cristina at breakfast, absolutely wonderful
Perfect location, amazing amenities, the room was absolutely perfect, and best of all, the service was exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the VIP team took such amazing care of me
I also had the sweetest surprise set up for me in my room on my birthday, and that was so special for me especially since I was traveling alone and was all by myself on my birthday
The hotel is located right next to the beach. Very convenient. The food is very good for a 3-star hotel. The rooms are clean.
This is no way a four star hotel, it’s a three star at best, day one we had a problem with ants and that didn’t go away for our entire stay despite them telling us they had sprayed our room and sorted it out
A smaller issues was people leaving their towels poolside so finding a place was a bit of a task as we only required sunbeds now and then and not all eight together either. The bathrooms could do with some updating too
We asked for a kettle and they wanted to charge us £20 also had problems with loss of hot water, breakfast was ok but just ok with everything eatable, best thing about this hotel by far was its location, but there’s no way I’d stay here again
We were there during challenge Peguera. End of season yet the staff was always smiling and very helpful. Rooms were nice, and the fridge is a great bonus! The breakfast was also really good
We were a group of 8 so seating together was a challenge, but we manager. The biggest issue was waiting for the elevator! The hotel seriously needs to do something about the extremly long wait for these
Beach access was great as well the food options. Pool had limited seating unless you want to pay premium. All
The staff was super polite and helpful
The staff super friendly (mister Andrea at reception for example )super kind and competent. Pitty thought for the inconvenience of the incident on Monday when I arrived from the UNVRS club
Hired the room for a stag do so we could fill it with booze and have everyone in the garden bit. Worked a treat, saved a fortune rather than getting a table or everyone buying booze from the bar all day
The AC in our room did not function as it should and the sofa did not appear to be cleaned properly. Having a view of the party was pretty cool. Next time we will try staying at the the unexpected
Would just be careful with what you use in the room most of its chargeable so you’ll get a hefty chunk taken off your deposit afterwards if you aren’t careful
Instead they insisted I go back for it which took 2 hours £150 in taxis and I missed the start of the event! I suggested phoning the other hotel, gave them my photo copy but no my friend had her copy with her too so such a carry on made

We had not realised that it would be so noisy, so not the best choice for us as our room was right above the Pool area where all the activities take place
The hotel’s facilities are excellent: a large outdoor pool, relaxing spa area, and a well-organized buffet restaurant with a wide variety of fresh, delicious food to suit every taste, including vegetarian and kid-friendly options
Biggest grumble was that all of the ‘hot food’ options on the Buffet were tepid at best, Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner 🤷♂️ Nice location, Nice Hotel but if you are after a little more peace and quiet this is not the hotel for you
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5
Our stay at Gran Hotel Peñíscola was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the hotel’s warm hospitality, spacious layout, and its unbeatable location right on the beachfront
Only grumble with the room was the faulty air-con sensor on the Balcony Door, reported it and it was fixed, only it wasn’t, the sensor box was cracked so everytime the door was opened it came away, it needs replacing
Definitely a retirement vibe here and we were there before busy season. But the hotel was great, food was great. Having laundry services were an added bonus. We got to catch up on laundry

We ate out every night and found our own entertainment as 4 guys singing along to a Bees Gees backing track (just one example) doesn't cut it. Great pool, easy to get a sunbed
The kiddies pool is deserted so we messed about on the slides in there
I want to thank personally Diana , Lara and Bruno in the kids club for treating our little girl to an unforgettable holiday!
My favourite thing to when I had an hour to myself was to go down to smoking terrace behind the bar and light up a Cuban cigar while listening to water feature
Amazing stay at GF Gran Costa Adeje. Location and staff were superb. Our 3 year old daughter was treated like a VIP and staff are very highly trained. Just we could not fault a single thing
The pool area was nice, never had to worry about getting up early for a sun bed as there was always plenty available
The hotel is spotless, the staff are so helpful the rooms are spacious & modernly decorated. We stayed over Christmas arriving on Christmas Eve and it was over and above what we expected
Nice little trip in Gran Canaria in October
Internet was great, no drops in service. Room always tidy, beds made every day and fresh towels. Also pool towels in the room so very handy as you don’t need to bring any
Lovely hotel, was late checking in and missed the evening meal, went to the room to find a packed lunch and a bottle of bubbly to welcome us. Food was amazing always plenty of choice and warm
The Christmas Day gala was an a la carte experience that you would have expected to pay a lot of money for at a top restaurant. This was inclusive of the all inclusive board we had paid for
Everything about this hotel is bang on, location ace, if I was to say one thing my husband has a bad back and the bed, for him, was too soft and aggravated his sciatica
There's a large shopping mall with a supermarket directly across the street, and plenty of restaurants nearby, including many century-old establishments in the old town
Seville is known as the 'City of Oranges,' and the scenery is lovely. Even though the railway has been a bit unreliable lately, the hotel's location is excellent, right by the train station
Getting to attractions from the hotel is convenient: it's about 4-5 bus stops or a 10-euro taxi ride, which takes around 25 minutes on foot
A common issue in Spain is that check-in takes forever. The room itself was decent, quite clean, and the location was okay too
My only complaint is that the restaurant the front desk guy recommended was just so-so and a bit pricey
Just spent a week here with my family. Great hotel and staff, food was great and the pool area and slides were great. Location was good centred between portaventura and the beach
Entertainment at night for the kids, the staff played games and dancing with them before going on to live acts. We were there during there Halloween time and they had the haunted tour for the kids which was brilliant
Sometimes it was a bit difficult to get a sunbed. Drinks were reasonable for being inside a hotel (3. 5 soft drink, 7 cocktail, 4 beer). Beach is about a 10 mins walk, portaventura 15 minute walk, so very good location
Nice stay but just a few ideas to improve the hotel. 1 have signs up in the corridors to keep quiet when walking down. People coming home late at night having full-blown conversations heading to the room
Pool was nice, no floats over a certain size allowed and they will tell you to remove them. No people running for sunbeds although people were reserving from 8am when it opens at 10 and towels weren't removed
The room was clean and spacious with a delightful pool that never felt too busy as long as you selected when to go well

The adult section is really nice, we enjoyed it very much, and again, wheelchair accessible right to the edge of the pool, I was really impressed with that. The situation of the hotel was perfect for me front and back
The adult section is quite different…… you can’t put towels down before 8am and you are supposed to stay until 9am before going to breakfast…. We don’t usually do Entertainment but it was amazing most nights
Don’t worry too much about the sun bed situation, there’s always lots available and I never saw anyone having towels taken off beds (even though they should have been)
There are pools suitable for all ages which we always found warm, we even used one of the kids pools at times
Finally I have a big thank you to my “crepe “ ladies ……always under pressure but always in full control, and to Rafael who flipped my eggs every morning with the biggest smile. I’m only home and I want to go back 😎
Valentines night was unbelievable, just so professional. Also the kids entertainment during the day (when the kids were there) I think it was a mid term break for about five days and the team were full on
A little gem of a hotel
Have stayed here 3 times now and everything about the hotel is fabulous from the service ,food ,freindleness ,thet cant do enough for you
Everything was great at the hotel from the first day to the last.
the food was tasty though and well worth the aggravation. Staff smiling and efficient and we will miss this great deal for a pleasant affordable holiday on La Palma
Breakfast was great...
Good experience
Don’t get carried caught with flies on you
Excellent hotel resort. However, you have to pay extra for spa pool , tennis and more well known drinks. By the pool we were sometimes pestered by flies
Lovely relaxing stay, staff were friendly and helpful, nice atmosphere and views, great massage from Kirsten.
There was something for each member of the family to enjoy and had lot of fun. Just that beds keep moving apart 😀
And beach was 7 to 8 minutes walk, since we were walking in and out with 3yr old
I had booked another hotel in Mallorca, but there was a problem so I quickly booked this hotel instead
I booked with just 10 minutes' notice, but they were happy to accommodate! I was lucky to get a corner room on a high floor, with a fantastic view of the mountains and ocean from the balcony
The breakfast is extraordinary with an en endless variety, I have ever seen in so many good hotels that I have stayed at. There are so many swimming pools and all very clean, so it was really nice
One thing that surprised me was the large number of families with small children
Unfortunately the pool was not heated and at night it was very loud in the corridors. We were there in mid-April and it was a bit noisy in the dining room, but otherwise it was a very child-friendly hotel
The hotel implements a policy to prevent sun loungers being reserved with towels. Guests respected this during our stay and it was easy to get a lounger by the pool at any time of day
Staff working across all service areas in the hotel were very polite, courteous and helpful. Pool and entire area of hotel always very clean, tidy and welcoming, sun beds generally always available
Great hotel with good location, near the train station and close to the beach. Very nice people working at the reception and restaurant as well, we had a wonderfull vacation and hope we will return
This did not in any way stop myself and my daughter enjoying our stay because we found all other occupants being friendly and respectful, however alternative young english folk may have found it more difficult to socialise in such an environment, had you previously been advised of this fact it could at least give the other holiday makers notes to consider and less cause to complain
My only point that maybe the travel agent could have mentioned though not a negative against the hotel is that the occupancy of the hotel was predominantly of dutch orientation and of an older clientele, average age i would guess being 65+
The only downfall ( which is not the hotels fault) was that the street could be noisy with a nearby disco/ bar & coaches dropping off & picking up. However a very nice hotel, with good facilities
They were so playful and attentive with my little one, and they have made her first holiday such a special and memorable experience. It really meant a lot and has left a lasting impression
Hotel is in a fab location with the beach on your doorstep and water parks. Lastly I’d like to mention Eidel, for his creative energy and patience making character pancakes in the buffet
His kindness really stood out and added to our overall experience and the crêpes are definitely a must. My daughter loved her peppa pig shaped crêpe
A special mention to Eidel, who is an exceptional member of staff – extremely welcoming, warm, and an absolute pleasure to be served by
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff are truly lovely and incredibly friendly, especially with children
We would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back again in the future
I also got to do karoke on evening which was absolutely amazing. Lots of friendly staff at hand. Pools were nice but got quite busy so you have to find a good time to go depending on how crowded you like it
With the heat waves, put a small refrigerator in the room, open the swimming pools an hour earlier and close an hour later, even if it means removing two or three hours in the day to enjoy the coolness
Badly explained that the safe is payable at 4 euros/day, and that the 3 drinks included in the meal are removed. The restaurant is very good, very Mediterranean menus which allow you to eat very healthily if you want
The 3 drinks rule with lunch and dinner is an issue and I feel one that needs to be worked on not everyone likes wine or beer and of you don't drink 3 drinks with you meal don't expect to get one of these outside as its not on offer
Plus side hotel room was clean and towels changed and beds made daily. Enterment in the evening is questionable, depending on your taste. Food I found to be good be quite a lot of the same sort of thing
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The breakfast buffet was really good, lots of different options. I opted in for a dinner buffet too and that didn’t disappoint
The newly renovated rooms are much more comfortable than before, and they still provide a kettle and disposable slippers. However, you'll need to bring your own toothbrush and other toiletries
Drawbacks: I'm not sure if some rooms are still under renovation, but there was noticeable drilling noise during the day, which could be quite disruptive for anyone wanting to sleep in
Other highlights: The gym facilities are comprehensive and new, and the Western-style breakfast buffet offers a fantastic variety. The lobby staff are also very friendly and helpful
Also, room cleaning can be quite late (one day, my room still hadn't been cleaned when I returned after 3 PM)
The rooms are big, beautifully decorated, the bathroom was big, and the location is amazing… right next to Gran Via, but far enough to not hear and feel the buzz and noise. I’d definitely stay again here
Nice hotel, a little dusty but ignorable
Near to metro and pretty okay breakfast selection and churros!
The balcony was large with a place to hang and dry towels and clothes if needed there was a kettle and a mini fridge
Clean room, friendly staff, great location
smiling and service-minded employees, clean everywhere, beautiful view, good pool areas
I’d be up early in the morning for a run and see staff washing windows top to bottom washrooms floors very busy trying to keep the place spic and span
Pros: Staff do their best to accommodate your stay and work through any issues. Decent amount of food selection for those without dietary restrictions. Shuttle to the beach although the schedule is limited
Something my father ate the last day did not sit well in his stomach the entire last night. Towel change service only open until 2pm even though the pool is open later
Rooms so so, no air conditioning TV not working, even if paid. Cleaned every day, but cleaning it to call difficult. Yes, change towels, assure toilet paper, soap. But at the expense of washing floors as it is difficult
lively and lots of groups but give them some credit what do you expect for the price cheaper than any hostel with booze and food chucked in was cleaned daily and pool area perfect
Many people know Russian, will always help if that. Drinks are not watered down, all at altitude. The food is always fresh, diverse, fruit, pastries all very tasty. To sea to go about 10 minutes -15
2 weeks never and not washed under the bed. But if you don't pay attention to it, you can live. Was in June, no idea what's going on in July or August. The staff is very friendly, smiling
Of the minuses: noisy in the Dorm, zero soundproofing in the rooms, no konduga, the interior is not modern, repairs made on 3. 5/5, wifi paid (5evr day 20 for 7 days)
However: the water is hot always and immediately, bathroom rules, there is even a bidet, bed sheets changed every day, fed for slaughter
The apartment itself was a good size and practical for a family, although the decor is a little dated in places. That said, everything was clean and worked well. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay
Large pool good food but didn’t like killing 59 cockroaches in my room in 2 days and had to ask twice to clean my room properly. Front desk staff we’re great shame about lack of communication
After we checked out, we realised we had left a water bottle behind. When we went back to ask, one of the ladies at the hotel was really kind and helped us find it and return it to us, which we really appreciated
The evening shows were actually really good – much better than we expected – and it was nice to have something to do after dinner without needing to go out
Everything was first class, reception, room was fantastic, staff, food and the entire hotel was faultless. 5 Star for sure.
Overall, a great choice for families and we would happily stay here again
