Security a farce, 3 nights in and one of our parties rooms were broken into with all birthday money and some personal effects taken, no sign of forced entry. Turns out 3 Master Suites were broken into that evening and seems to be a common occurrence

We are here now , and its bewildering reading bad reviews. The hotel caters for familys, as such its not going to be a luxury top end 4 star hotel. Pleasant surprise when we were given a 2 bed apartment rather than a 1 bed which we booked. Great location for restaurants, bars and beach but far enough away to be quiet. Only annoying thing was the kids water area which went in from 10 am until 6 pm continually even although there were no kids around due to bad weather.

We enjoyed staying at the hotel. Everything about it was superb. The location and lovely views of the sea made our stay so enjoyable and relaxing.

It was only a one night stop over but thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff very gelpful and hotel was clean our only thing we noticed was the area around the pool was very slippy. Normally a hard brush is used for cleaning the alghi build up but wven to touch you could feel it slimmy.

We really enjoyed our stay it was relaxed and quiet which is what we wanted. The staff were all helpful and courteous, and we found the variety of food to be good at the buffet. The hotel was further out of the centre of Playa Blanca than we realised but we did walk back from the main port in Playa Blanca one day. I think it would be helpful to hire a car.

The location of the Mirador is a bit far out from the Marina and Playa Dorada beach. It's also a distance from Papagayo beach. If you are able to walk 30-40 minutes along the path on the cliff front you are fine. Tjwre is a shuttle bus from the Mirador to the Yaiza twice a day, and a taxi one way is about 4€. This a great base to look around the island, or just laze the days away by the pool and on the deck chairs. It seems a quieter hotel, as the area is away from the centre of Playa Blanca. The slow and un-syncronized elevators can really become annoying, The 17th floor is a missed opportunity for a nice place for drinks and music, instead it is like a cafeteria that has alcoholic drinks. The AC maintains the rooms very cold even in winter, that can be uncofortable for some people like me.

Accommodation satisfactory, clean. Only downside of the apartments complex Is all the stairs….. not recommended for disability or elderly who struggle with stairs and especially a lot of them.

Just back from a 5 day stay at this hotel and will 100% be booking back up again. Was very nervous about our trip after ready some of the reviews but I had nothing at all to worry about.
