Hotel Mirador Papagayo by LIVVO in Playa Blanca

We have just returned after a week’s stay with our 3 children. The staff on arrival were very welcoming! We got offered a glass of complementary champagne for us and the children got offered water. Our room was a family annex room across the road, accessed through a corridor that runs under the road, which was absolutely perfect for us! We had a ground floor room which opened right out onto the kids pool and splash pad area. It was very clean and spacious and worked so well for us. Breakfast was good, a good selection each morning. We stayed half board, but we prefer to eat out on the evenings so the day before we would switch so we could have lunch instead. If you stayed all inclusive you were able to access soft drinks, wine and cocktails yourself. As half board guests, it could be tricky at times to pin down wait staff to order drinks to be charged to our room, seemed a little like an inconvenience to them at times. The weather was quite mixed during our stay, so we gave the kids club a try. A good little soft play that my kids enjoyed. The woman running the activity was kind and welcoming. The gentleman however was quite rude on the few encounters we around him. The nighttime entertainment for the kids started very late. It was supposed to begin at 8:45pm but on the 3 occasions we went, did not begin until 9pm then after a few dance songs mainly involved having the kids running hell for leather around the entertainment bar and having balloon swords and dogs made. Our kids did love it, just seems to us a bit like organised chaos at times, with little effort to actually engage the kids in a decent length disco. The acts that followed were a good variety, dancers/magicians/singers. The location we felt was ideal. It’s a 15/20min walk to Marina Rubicón full of bars, restaurants and shops. Carrying on a further 10minutes walk and you reach the Playa Dorada beach which was beautiful. Turing ghe opposite direction out the hotel, about a 10minute walk there is a small shopping complex with a few bars and restaurants which was also lovely to have late afternoon wander to for a cocktail before dinner. If in need of late checkout, like most places it’s an ask 24 hours before departure. Unfortunately for us, there was no availability and with not flying out till the evening, we had to be packed and out by 12pm and cases held in storage, not ideal with 3 children in tow. Overall, the hotel was clean, ideally located, beautiful pool areas, wonderful rooms, just a few things, that personally for us, could have been a little better.

This was our second visit to Mirador, and we did have a really nice holiday, the staff on reception are very helpful and are always willing to provide answers to your requests. Our room was on the 5th floor as I had earlier asked for a room on a higher floor again reception had taken note of this. The room was a nice size with a good balcony and brilliant sea views, again as I had requested. The rooms are cleaned every day and the cleaning staff are very pleasant. There is a soap dispenser by the sink and one by the bath and towels are changed regularly. The hotel is clean well maintained and the pools kept clean. You can get free towels from the Spa and clean ones from reception, a Ten euro deposit is refundable when you return them at the end of your holiday. The drinks are ok better than dome We have experienced in other hotels. The entertainment is a bit dull with a singer most nights, acrobats one night, the best night was the magician, daytime have the usual shuffle board, darts etc aqua aerobics are popular. There is football on every night in the hotel bar bar across from reception. The one thing that lets this hotel down is the food, it was too repetitive, the salad bar was the same every day lunch time and evening meal, was monotonous. It lacked a choice of alternative items to go with the salad, always chips pasta etc., there was occasionally a carvery but pork and chicken were the main meats, with some fish a couple of times. The one thing that was extra nice was the small samosas and they were only on the menu twice in the 10 days we were there. Breakfast was the best meal of the day but only two flavours of yogurt which is ok but its the lack of choice that spoils the hotel. I have to mention the fresh bread though it is extra special every morning. There is a lovely coast walk outside the hotel one way you get to the Sandos papagayo hotel where you can climb up the cliff at the side but its only for the agile, the other way you can walk all the way to the Rubicon Marina (20-30mins) and on into Playa Blanca (40-50mins) We did have a good holiday not saying we wont go back to this hotel if they improve their food choices.

Just had a wonderful week at this hotel, it exceeded my expectations. The food was great and I felt there was always something different and really enjoyed the evening meals. The room was excellent very clean with an amazing view and very comfy beds. Pool was warm enough and location I love and it was so peaceful. The team were lovely and welcoming and the kids club was great. Can't wait to go back again.

This a great base to look around the island, or just laze the days away by the pool and on the deck chairs. It seems a quieter hotel, as the area is away from the centre of Playa Blanca. Its clean and modern. the staff are super friendly. We had half board, so can only comment on the breakfast and evening meal. The breakfast is great, cereals, continental, eggs, bacon, juices, tea, coffee and pastries galore. The evening meal is good in many aspects, however, it seems a bit limited with it offerings. Fish is always on the menu, and various days the meat changes, beef, pork etc. There is loads of veg and salads. There is a plentiful supply of desserts thou! The rooms are tidy. We did not like the beds, found them uncomfortable, but there is nothing quite like your own bed! We did not have a extractor fan in the WC, so after a bath or shower, it was quite misty. If i could make 2 suggestions to the hotel, it would be to put something on the bottom of the chairs in the restaurant so they can slide without making a noise. The same can be asked for the beds. When house keeping are moving beds in the rooms above you, you get a awful noise. Putting something on the bottom of the beds feet so they can slide without making a noise would be a huge plus.

Arrived just yesterday. First off we were given the room we asked for. Third visit and just love 252. Reported few small issues after breakfast and the fixit guys came within minutes. Everything sorted immediately, what can I say, excellent service thanks.

The hotel is lovely, perfect place to relax.

The pool is heated which is amazing!

The rooms are spacious and very comfortable and clean.

The food is good and the breakfast is wonderful. The staff in the dining room cannot do enough for you. They are so nice.

We will be coming back again next year, thank you Mirador Papagayo - see you next year!

This was our second visit to Lanzarote staying at the beautiful Mirador Papagayo Hotel this December'25.

The staff are so welcoming, helpful and professional. We'd like to thank Fernanda from the Reception team who goes above and beyond to make your stay very pleasant and enjoyable.

Just spent 2 weeks at this hotel and we will be returning. The hotel is clean if a bit worn in places All the staff from cleaners to managers work extremely hard. Would like to thank Helena (manager)for the bottle of fizz for the wife's birthday.
The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk to the harbour and about a 40 minute walk to the ferry terminal.
