HSM Son Verí - Adults Only in L'Arenal

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The rooms are modern, spotless, and impressively soundproof — I didn’t hear the neighbors at all. It’s a great choice for couples, though perhaps less ideal for groups of friends due to the frosted-glass toilet and shower setup. The main buffet restaurant is excellent — honestly better than many city restaurants. Overall, it deserves a higher rating than its official 3 stars. Highly recommend.

Overall, this is a good hotel! Newly renovated, clean, and beautiful. Cleaning every day.
Regarding the food: there was a decent variety at dinner, but breakfast was a bit lacking, almost repeating itself.
Regarding the room: the idea of ​​the translucent, non-closing shower and toilet doors is a real bummer. It's hard to shower or use the restroom without a problem. The balcony is a plus.
It was also always very cold in the hotel; the air conditioners were blowing too much, so we had to wear sweaters to eat.
Upon check-in, we paid a whopping 27 euros. This is the first time I've seen a 10% tourist tax.

Stayed in the hotel with my wife for almost a week, the room was simple but quite good. My only feedback is: the bathroom glass doors don't allow much privacy and the showers was changing the water temperature a few times by itself.

The elevators were also very slow, meaning that at times we would prefer to take the stairs to go up to the 5th floor, otherwise we'd be waiting a good while.

Customer service on the otherhand was top notch, everyone attended us super well, including the restaurant personnel who were super lovely and helpful !

The food from the restaurant was quite decent and delicious.

Beware that the hotel is situated at El Arenal, which is ridden which Germans and tourist restaurants which can be a hit or miss. Nothing against the Germans, but I didn't come to Spain to listen or speak German :P

The hotel itself was very clean and well maintained, and the receptionist was so nice and welcoming — a lovely start to our stay. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The selection was very limited, and even the simplest food like chips were very dry and bland. Another issue was in the restaurant — the lamps were hanging far too low, and we noticed several people, including ourselves, bumping their heads on them. It’s a shame, because the hotel and staff are wonderful, but the food and restaurant setup really need some attention.

Overall the food was fresh and the choice was good but very geared towards German and Dutch pallets, my only big bear is that I booked an ‘Adult only’ hotel which had a baby of under two staying with his parents, he cried in the dining area, threw food on the floor and could be heard before he was seen, I have nothing agains children but when I book an adult only hotel it’s what I expect

Amazing hotel, all the staff are super helpful and professional. The food choice is pretty big which is amazing, something for everyone. The rooftop is my favourite part with a small bar and a pool at the top. Takes about 5 minutes to walk to the beach. Overall amazing. Special thanks to Maria that served me at the rooftop bar.

We had a great stay at this hotel! The food was excellent and very diverse, the room was practical, and well-equipped - air condition, blow dryer, shampoo, soap, and shower gel. Housekeeper cleaned the room and changed the towels every morning, which was a big plus. The location is perfect - just one street away from the beach and right next to the bus station (Palma and Airport). The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The price was very reasonable for what we got. Highly recommended!

I’m removing a star due to their inflexibility in allowing a room change and/or upgrade request a few days before my arrival (to include another person to my booking) and also due to the thin walls where you can hear your neighbors coughing. Although I was ready and informed the hotel to pay extra, my request was simply denied and no solution or alternative was given, which left a sour start to the holidays. I would have expected a business mindset with for example an option to stay at another hotel of the chain or so if this hotel was booked.

👥 Other than that, the breakfast/dinner and reception team were joyous, kind, and super efficient.

🥘The buffets for breakfast/dinner were excellent, there was something for everyone, even for me who doesn’t eat pork.

🛏️ The room/hotel design is nice and contemporary, with light colors and accents of wood here and there. My room had a balcony which was nice. Room was cleaned daily.

🏊‍♂️The rooftop has a small pool and the ground floor has a decent sized one (but still small for laps, rather for dipping in to refresh).

📍The area is lively, with small shops and restaurants around, and not even a 10 minute walk to the beach.

🚌 The bus (for the Airport and other areas) departs in front of the hotel which is a convenient bonus. It’s 5€ to get to the Airport.

Even with the disagreement at the beginning, I still had nice holidays, and would recommend this hotel ✅
