10 minutes from the airport, everything is within walking distance: beach, bars, restaurants, small shops. The air conditioning is great, so sleeping was no problem despite the heat.
The clientele is a bit like "who-let-you-in," but hey, we're not here to be judged by vacationers in Birkenstocks.
The pools are really great, clean, pleasant, with even a bar that can be accessed while still in the water, and deep enough to fully enjoy them, whether to relax or swim a little.
Overall: a big pleasant surprise, clean, well-located, good value for money.

They say they need hot water in the lobby, so they're bewildered why they're asking him... (Then, where should I ask...)
Free parking on the roadside around the hotel, but it's too hard to find
The food was adequate, with the breakfast being the best meal of the day. Having said that the evening meal had plenty of choice and was cooked well but my wife did struggle to find something on occasions. There were snacks available from the bar during the day and were of a high standard.
The only real failing of this hotel is the satellite TV which only had 3 English language channels, all of which were news channels. So if you want to watch TV while you are there learn Spanish or German or download lots onto your tablet before you go. We did manage to use apps to watch ITV, BBC and Channel 4 but you need a VPN connection to a UK server to fool the apps. WIFI was intermittent but nearer the bar the better.
