This is a nice hotel to start exploring Valencia. Th hotel is close to the old city (just across the street).But the hotel is located in a quit street. The roms are nice. But a 4-star room? Almost. It is in the small details. Like having real glasses in stead of carton-cups. A plastic chair in the room. Just does not do the 4 star-rating. Breakfast is decent, sometimes the warm buffet was more cold than warm. The rooms are cleaned every day, which is perfect. Go here for easy access to the city. The bar in the lobby lacs a bit of cosy-ness. I would give this 3 big plus star-rating. by the way: right across the entrance is a great wine bar with excellent food.

The hotel is centrally located, in the heart of the old town. Their 4-star rating already foreshadows what you'll find if you stay with them. From the moment you enter their premises, the staff's service is incredible. Their attentiveness and service are especially helpful, so even if you're not from the area, you'll always know what to do and where to go. Highly recommended.

Great service from the concierge staff, pretty close to the city centre, however, no bottled water is provided in the room which I’d expect a four star hotel to have this in the room

Centrally located, just about 7-8 minutes walk from the train station. The hotel was clean, the lobby is nicely decorated. The room was spacious, beds comfortable and the bathroom was also quite large. Breakfast was good, wide selection of sweet and savory food. No big issues, only minor ones: The wifi was weak, we often lost the signal. The rooms are mainly sound proof but you can hear your neighbors shutting their door quite loud. This was a bit disturbing. However, I would gladly stay there again.

I had a nice weekend stay at the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised how quick the check-in was. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The room was very spacious, as was the bathroom, which made the stay especially comfortable.
The location is excellent, with bus and metro stations just nearby, and the historic part of the city easily reachable on foot.
One small area for improvement would be room maintenance—for example, there were some noticeable scratches on the wall. The room was clean, no doubt, but a few details suggested that a bit more upkeep could be beneficial.
We booked directly from their website and enjoyed some small perks which were a nice touch - welcome drink and late checkout. We also got a free bottle of water, but I believe bottle of water should be provided for all guests, it's a necessity rather than a perk.

Hotel Conqueridor, Valencia
This is easily the worst 4* hotel I’ve stayed at. I cannot see how this hotel got an 8.7 rating on Booking.com - it probably would be acceptable if the price were below 100 EUR per night, but we paid almost 200 EUR per night.
Location of the hotel is fine, close to the historic city centre. Room size is OK and the AC works too and is not too noisy. Staff is generally friendly.
Beds are a bit on the hard side and recent (?) renovations are already showing wear and tear. Everything in this hotel seems to be of the cheapest possible standard (linen, soap, tea and coffee), no water is provided (other than the overpriced mini bar). Soundproofing of the room seems to be non-existent, you get to hear a lot of what is happening around you. The view in the back is easily the (almost) worst possible, only a garbage dump or sewerage treatment plant would be worse.
The breakfast is not great either, with terrible coffee from an instant-from-powder Nescafe machine. The rest is little better, again the cheapest in every category possible.
It probably is a tell-tale sign that one of the four stars is missing at the entrance. We recommend to avoid this hotel.

We were quite impressed with this hotel. It’s recently renovated and rooms are large and bright. Great breakfast and nice gym, small but with almost everything you need. Amazing location near the old city, you can walk everywhere and lots of bars and restaurants nearby.

It seemed that because the booking was not made directly at the hotel, but through an agency, the attitude was different. For any requests and wishes at the reception they send you to talk to the agency; it seems wrong to me, since I am talking to the person standing in front of me. We sent a request for a room on the quiet side several times, they said that they did not receive anything and sent us back to the agency. The room is small and standard, although the booking indicated 20 sq. meters and a deluxe room. The breakfast is very average, the location is not bad if you need it close to the northern station. Will we return to this hotel again? No

Very friendly proprietors and many options on the buffet. Unfortunately, the quality of the food on offer is hit and miss. (Quite a bit more miss than hit, truth be told.) Cannot recommend when there are so many high quality vegan and vegetarian options at the same price point within walking distance. Sorry.

This place is wonderful! The staff is sweet, the atmosphere is relaxed, the food is delicious. I'm usually not crazy about buffets and almost didn't go in but I'm so glad that I did. All vegan is a rare find and there is a variety of dished not just the same old seitan. My only complaint is that the food could be a bit warmer.

Cheap, tasteless, greasy, all you can eat, vegan food with friendly people employees.
The food is soaked in oil and everything has the same 'flavour'. The same music was repeating over and over again. On the door it says €7,95 at the beginning of the week and €8,50 end of the week, but he still charged 8,50 and we where there on a Tuesday.
The only reason I don't give 1 star is because it's all vegan (even though it's tasteless and oily) and because the guy who helped us was friendly. So; if you're looking to fill your stomach with cheap food and don't care about the (lack of) taste; you can try it, but I wouldn't recommend it.
