My stay at the INNSIDE Hotel by Melia in Valencia was really great. The value for the price is excellent, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with large beds and modern technology, including a nice television. The views from the rooms are also very good.
The hotel isn’t very close to the city center, but it’s near a couple of malls and other convenient spots. It’s pet-friendly, though there’s a 40€ fee per pet and a form to sign regarding pet rules. They also have private parking for 25€ per day, which is very convenient, and an electric vehicle charging station in the parking area.
Overall, it was a very pleasant stay comfortable, modern, and well-located for shopping and a relaxed visit.

AC doesn’t work, and the woman working at the bar on March 1st 9PM was very impolite when she approached us saying we couldn’t eat the food we ordered in the lobby. Other than these two things everything was great.

Several minutes away from Oceanographic, super welcoming staff, easy parking with lots of space. The rooms are with all the amenities needed for the comfortable stay. Really good value for money.

We recently stayed at the Valencia Oceanic and overall had a wonderful experience. The property is fantastic, the location is ideal, and the rooms are impressively spacious. For the first two nights, we stayed in a standard room which was clean and comfortable, thought we did miss having an electric kettle (it did, however, have a hair dryer!). We later upgraded to a premium room which was much better equipped and included a kettle — although it didn’t switch off on its own, so we had to unplug it every time.
The bathrooms were a highlight, with good water pressure, hot water, a generous bathtub and even a wash basin bidet-style fixture, which is a thoughtful touch for guests coming from the Middle East or Asia.
One thing that truly made our stay memorable was the warmth and care from certain staff members. It was Caleb’s birthday during our stay, and Rafa and Belen went above and beyond — decorating the room with a banner, balloons, a hand-drawn card by Belen, and cakes and macarons that Caleb absolutely loved. Their kindness made his day incredibly special. Pablo was also wonderful, and some of the housekeeping staff were genuinely friendly.
However, a few small maintenance issues stood out: the shower head kept slipping off, the toiletries that should have been locked in place weren’t, and small replenishments like tissue, milk pods, and extra mugs (we were three guests but only received two) were often missed.
A few practical things could improve the overall comfort:
The TV volume was stuck at 13, and most channels were in Spanish. It would be fantastic if guests could easily connect their own devices to the TV to watch personal content.
The air condition too was not working or maybe we didn’t know how to work it? Could be a nice touch if there would be an orientation to the equipment.
The bed was actually two beds pushed together, which made it difficult since our son Caleb was sharing the bed and kept slipping into the gap. A proper single mattress or topper to join them would make a big difference.
Room service, however, was slow both times we ordered — we eventually had to go downstairs to collect it ourselves.
Despite these small issues, we genuinely enjoyed our stay. With a bit more attention to details like maintenance, room setup, and service consistency, this hotel could easily feel like a 5-star experience. Huge thanks again to Rafa, Belen and Pablo for making our stay extra special — especially for Caleb’s birthday.

Very clean, comfortable bedding, and a wide selection of breakfast options. The minibar drinks are unlimited and refilled daily. The hotel has a great location, and there's free parking available on the white lines downstairs.

I had a wonderful stay in this hotel, everything was so modern and clean. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful with special thanks to Sophia at reception for being so accommodating. Throughout the rest of our stay José was amazing at making guests feel at home and taken care of. Any issues we had were dealt with immediately by José which was greatly appreciated. The kindness of the staff was what made this hotel stand out above all others.
For a hotel in a busy city, the pool area was quiet and relaxing so sitting in the sun with a book and the best mojito I’ve ever had was just what I needed. The food was always great during our stay too.
The location is perfect as a beautiful park, gorgeous architecture and amazing restaurants are all a few minutes walk away. It’s also very easy to visit the beach and the old town.
I will definitely revisit and would highly recommend.
