I have to say that I had a very nice stay. The rooms are big and clean so the bathroom which is en suite. The location is very handy close not only to the metro station but also to all the attractions. As price I cannot complain because I find it quite honest compared to other prices I saw when I was booking. I’ve also tried paella in the hotel restaurant. Guests have also a discount, in case you want to know. I have to say that the food was delicious. Even if you are not a guest you can eat in the restaurant and I do recommend it.
Special thank to the staff that was welcoming and kind and gave me all the attentions needed when I had questions even if my Spanish was not good 😂.
I will sure go back in here next time I will visit Valencia because I find it worth it.

I don't understand why there are so many bad opinions here. Ok the walls are pretty thin and you can hear almost everything from your neighbors and the hallway, but for 75 Eur a night for 2 ppl. In the center of Valencia I found it ok. The room was clean and the staff helpful

Stayed for 1 night here. Staff delightful and helpful and let us leave our bags to enjoy the day . Bed comfortable, shower very good. Only slight negative point is the green light for the emergency exit which glows at night.

I had a very disappointing experience with Hotel Alkázar. I contacted the hotel early in January 2025 to ask about booking a room for December (during the Valencia Marathon). I was told that reservations for those dates would open in October or early November.
I followed their advice carefully and wrote to them immediately once October arrived — well within the time frame they mentioned. However, I received a short reply saying the hotel was already fully booked.
It feels unfair and frustrating, as I respected the timeline they themselves provided. Unfortunately, this experience left me with a very negative impression of their communication and booking policy.

Great location. Right next to subway which has line 3&5 directly to the airport.
Nice staff
Great value for the price.
Some gaps for improvement that the hotel is in between a bunch of restaurants so you can smell it from the passage of the hotel.
Sound proofing for the room is really bad I had to wake up multiple times in the morning starting from 5:00 because most people stay here has an early flight

We stayed at the Alkazar Hotel for 4 nights. From the very beginning, the staff was friendly and professional, welcoming us with the utmost professionalism and warmth! The building is new, the rooms are large, and the cleanliness is excellent. Furthermore, the location is perfect; the city's main attractions are just a 10-minute walk away. If you're looking for a vacation in Valencia, stay at the Alkazar Hotel!

A really nice hotel, with minimalist rooms, private bathrooms, closets, and, most importantly, air conditioning. The hotel is located in the heart of the Ciutat Vella (Old Town), an excellent location for exploring the city. There are many restaurants around the hotel, but I also recommend trying the Taberna Alkazar, the hotel's restaurant, because the food is truly delicious.

Very centrally located hotel, 150 meters from the Xativa metro station and Piazza del Municipio. It's located on a quiet alley with an attached restaurant. It has a small reception area, but no common areas. Our room had an entrance hall with a sofa and TV, a bathroom (no bidet), and a bedroom (small double bed). I'd stay here again, but it was a bit noisy at night. Booking through the hotel website saves you money.

First time in Valencia (a beautiful city). My girlfriend and I had a great time at the hotel. Clean, well-organized, and very comfortable. It's in the city center. It's a shame our bathroom had a tub and no bidet. The bed was super comfortable, fantastic. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is also excellent; we had delicious Valencian paella.

The paella was excellent not oily as some mentioned
The Tuna tartare was exquisite

Overall good. We ordered small fresh fried squid (calamari) as starter but was very oily.
Belgian salmon was good. Seafood paela was delicious but oily though. I have noticed oily dishes in different places in Valencia!!
waiters were grumpy and they need to learn etiquette and how to smile to customers. We did not tip them!

Good seafood, good home made tarts, good wine, service a bit slow. Not cheap but worth the money. Restaurant is in a small street, with another seafood restaurant opposite, Alcazar. Our impression is that Civera is better choice. Interesting to watch the people walking ...
