Anara Villa in Unawatuna

Had a wonderful stay here! The room and overall stay were very reasonably priced, making it great value for money. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and always welcoming. We even celebrated a birthday here, and it was amazing 🥳 The breakfast was simple but good 🍽️. Definitely a place I would choose again.

Of the destinations we visited, this is the most beautiful place in the Habaraduwa area. The customer service at Anara Villas is excellent. You can get any kind of food here. I would say that Anara Villas is suitable for anyone of any level of experience to spend a vacation.

I had an excellent one-month stay at Villa Anara — an experience I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for peace, comfort, and authenticity in Sri Lanka.

Room
The room is perfectly equipped: a large bed, private bathroom with toilet, desk, towels, hairdryer, hand soap, and shower gel. Everything is thoughtfully arranged for a pleasant and worry-free stay.

Cleanliness
Housekeeping is done carefully and regularly. Both the room and common areas are spotless, and the sheets and towels are always fresh — a real pleasure.

Staff
Kasa and Dinesh are exceptional hosts. Always attentive, available at any hour, and genuinely caring about guests’ comfort, they truly made my stay enjoyable and peaceful. Their kindness and professionalism deserve special mention. A big thank-you to both of them!

Atmosphere
The villa has a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. You quickly feel at home in this calm, green environment, perfect for rest and relaxation.

Location
The villa is ideally located for those seeking a quiet stay away from the bustle of the city center. Transportation is easily accessible, making it convenient to reach town while still enjoying a tranquil setting.

Dining / Services offered
The on-site restaurant is a real highlight! I ate there every day for a month and enjoyed every single meal. The menu is varied, the dishes are beautifully presented and delicious. Dinesh is very attentive to guests’ food preferences and dietary requests, which is especially appreciated for a long stay.

Areas for improvement
The only small downside is the traffic noise during the day, but it’s manageable and doesn’t take away from the overall experience.

In summary, Villa Anara is a place where you truly feel good — combining comfort, kindness, and authenticity. I have wonderful memories of my stay and sincerely thank the entire team for their warm welcome.

The food was delicious especially the tuna sandwich, which was absolutely amazing! The villa is also conveniently located just about 300m from the beach, making it perfect for a calm getaway. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy and enjoyable stay.
