One of the nicest places we stayed in Sri Lanka in terms of value. Rooms are simply fantastic - excellent size, well designed. The land has direct access to the ocean and a little beach in front of it. Also has a great gym. Food is excellent here. Service is the absolutely best.

We spent 3weeks in Sri Lanka and stayed in several hotels- Elisyum was the BEST for sure. Villa, location, service snd food really great! Swimming pool is large and comfortable. Hotel is small and delicios, you feel like at your own villa. Ocean view is fantastic.service is invisible and immediate

First and foremost, I feel incredibly fortunate to have met the wonderful owner, Catherine, who is so welcoming and kind, qualities that truly shine through in this comfortable and charming hotel. The rooms, food, staff, service, cleanliness, and location exceed every expectation one could have for a hotel. We enjoyed every minute, both inside our room and throughout the hotel. The beautiful sea and the cozy turtle beach nearby create a harmonious atmosphere that makes this hotel so special. I highly recommend everything on the menu, especially the dessert with matcha and white chocolate—it’s a must-try! If you’re in Talpe, don’t miss out on this fantastic and cozy hotel, where every detail offers a little something extra.

We had an amazing time here. The premises are really nice with a pool and access to the water (though swimming here is not advised). Room was huge and luxurious. Staff was the friendliest that we encountered in our 10 days in Sri Lanka.

Stayed for 5 nights and it was simply incredible. Rooms were beautiful with everything you could need, air con was powerful and rooms were cleaned twice a day. The staff were fantastic, some of the best service we’ve ever experienced. They were attentive, polite, helpful and could almost predict what you would need and have it ready for you in advance. Location was great, pool area was beautiful and the food was some of the best food we had during our holiday. Breakfast was incredible, then the lunch & dinner menu had great selection and everything we had was delicious. On top of everything, there are only 4 villas on the resort so most of the time you’re alone and it feels like you have the place to yourself! Honestly can’t fault this place one bit - highly recommended for a luxurious trip!

Hard one here because the hotel really is quite lovely however given it’s hefty price tag I felt it lacked class when it came to service & hospitality.

The staff are in general friendly but everything felt like an effort as whilst we wished to lounge / relax by the pool we had to get up continually and find someone for a snack (limited options) and/or a drink.

Like most hotels in the area they’re specific on getting your dinner order in early and definitely place a significant mark up on food.

Room we had was spacious and well equipped so no qualms here.

General facilities are pretty good and whilst they have facilities for a massage it’s located near the road so not relaxing at all. Also no actual bar to relax at.

It’s a nice hotel but plenty of areas for improvement. Check out Era if you want more access to bar and staff, if you want silence Elysium is it.
