This hotel is located a few minutes from the train station, only a few bus stops away. The staff at the front desk was very helpful. However, the staff in the dining room was disappointing.

The huge Matterhorn seemed just outside my balcony room. The iconic view changed form before sunrise to after sunset. The restaurant served good meals with nice staff. The front desk is also helpful and saved our time to plan our stay in Zermatt.

Such an amazing experience staying at Schönegg. The hospitality and service we received from start to finish completely made this trip for us. The hotel is not in the city, it takes 40 minutes to drive to the city. There is a church next to it. The town is very quiet. There are several western restaurants downstairs at night. A fantastic yoga and spa hotel! This is my third time here, and it's truly worth it. After hiking or trekking, be sure to soak in the pool or swim to completely relax! They offer a shuttle service from the train station, as it's quite a distance from the station and inconvenient with luggage. Great mountain views! It only took us about 90 minutes to get to Jungfraujoch the next morning. The welcome drink was lovely, and the staff were all very warm and helpful. My family and I stayed here in December 2021. The location is second to none as we were on the gondola in minutes and also minutes from town. The food was very good and all the staff were helpful and friendly. Is there anything better after a day in the snow than a swim in the hotel spa? We cannot wait to got back.

Great. Would live here again! The hotell is nicely placed by the train and buss station. There is a short walk to the city center, but the staff were very helpful with tips on where to go. The room was quiet, clean, dealt big and in general good. The staff was happy to check us in early, and we got a free room upgrade.
