We are pleased with our stay, room comfort and sleep quality was outstanding. There were two top quality comforters on a super king bed - this was the first time in our decades of traveling experience that we had something like this, like we have in our own home. The service is top quality - professional and crisp but not servile. It is as it should be.

The hotel looks aesthetically nice and clean with very good location . Services are under 5 star hotel level, for example , room service( in dining) only available till 10:30 pm, amenities in the room are very limited , no kettle , no coffee machine, no ironing tools , we have to ask for each single item. My dream holiday was in Villa Sassa. Incredible view. Delicious and various breakfast (also with healthy and gluten free options). Great SPA, even with group sport activities. Coach lady is very cheerful and positive. Staff is wonderful and helpful. Recommend 🙂

The Spa Villa Sassa is a luxury hotel located in Lugano, Switzerland. It occupies a classical villa building from the 18th century and offers facilities such as a health club, luxury spa, gourmet restaurant and lounge bar. Centrally located in Lucerne, right across from the lake, this historic hotel has hosted famous figures like Princess Sisi and Churchill. The hotel's elevator and staircase exude classical European luxury. Upon departure, the staff kindly presented us with exquisite chocolates. Went here at the last minute and didn't regret it. Many first class aspects: the breakfast, the outdoor pool, the James Bond bar, the kids club - staffed on a Saturday night. Regarding cleanliness, the rooms were very clean. The spa pool, well, there were sand and dirt particles on the bottom. Safety could be improved for guests with mobility issues. But all in all, a very nice place to relax. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

The location of Eden Rock is simply amazing, with the lake right at your doorstep and a beach that’s hard to beat. It’s stunningly beautiful, and you can easily spend days just taking in the view or making use of the stand-up paddles and kayaks provided. Breakfast was another highlight – a thoughtful selection, not too big but just right, with excellent quality products that we truly appreciated.

Beware when staying here. The AC in rooms is preset at 24 C with the ability to reduce the temp only by up to 3 C....netting out at 21C best case. Generally it did not work so our room was always about 23C, which for my family is too warm. Also the restaurant in evenings is absurdly overpriced and the food not great...they focus more on presentation than taste. The town is great so if you stay here...

The hotel has a nice exterior view, but its location is remote. The room facilities are basic, the towels are old, and the bathroom exhaust fan is very noisy. At over 2000 RMB per night, it's very poor value for money!

A nice hotel, situated on the edge of town but not far to walk to local transport and restaurants, Beds are nice and there is a fair bit of room for your clothes. Accommodation is either in the main part of the hotel or a building next door. There is an underground passageway between the two buildings.

We have recently spent two weeks at this lovely hotel. We were in the Residence part with a good room with balcony, that has sunshine in the afternoon (if it comes out!). This is linked to the main hotel both outside and via a tunnel if it is wet. The room was very comfortable with a bath and shower. There are tea and a coffee machine, but bizarrely tea bags are supplied daily, but not coffee pods...

This is an established hotel with a fantastic location and unbeatable views from its lake view rooms. The rooms, however, are a bit dated in design, and the facilities aren't the most modern. Breakfast was satisfactory, and the service was quite attentive. Considering Swiss prices, it offers very good value for money.

If you're a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, this place might not be for you. It's right by a busy street, so expect constant traffic noise that can easily disturb sleep. The breakfast was terrible, probably the worst I've had at a European hotel in terms of variety. For over 2,000 a night, it was definitely not worth it; more like a 200 a night kind of place.
