Old traditional and classy Hotel. It is well maintained and renovated. The rooms are nice and comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful. Overall a great location!

Absolutely the worst experience we ever had! Giving the rooms to more paying customers and cancelling confirmed bookings for others... The manager is the worst possible person for this position, not sure if the hotel's owners know what this person is doing. I would choose another hotel, you dont want to find out that you dont have a room after a long stressful journey!
Not to forget, if you have a car it is better to leave it at home. Because they dont have a proper parking place, people literally parked their cars wherever they could find and this lead to many costly damages, as it happened to us.

Excellent location and a very good breakfast. However, the rooms need more sound insulation. Talking and coughing can be heard from the next door at night.

Place is very nice, 10 min walk from downtown and the lake. Rooms are renovated, comfortable and clean. Excellent breakfast.

This was my favorite hotel of my 3 week trip. The room was large, the A/C was cold, the WiFi was strong and fast, the staff was very courteous, the room was comfortable and the breakfast buffet was a veritable feast. The hotel is located a short walking distance from the train station and the hotel provided us with a free city transport pass to be used on all city busses and the funicular to descend to the lower part of the city. There is also secure parking on the hotel grounds.

Convenient location next to the train station. Great breakfast and dinner, friendly staff. The front desk even held my key for me when I went on a run and didn’t want to bring it with me. And don’t miss the bar inside with a friendly barman and good snacks before dinner.
The hotel can be tricky to navigate to — I found it easiest to enter and exit the train station at platform 4.
I was kindly treated to a room upgrade to a “superior” room with a balcony and found that the noise from the train station was very loud and persisted through the night, as well as noise from construction in the morning. The room did not seem to be soundproofed at all.
The beds were also very firm and the pillows quite soft. Unfortunately, I did not sleep very well.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay here but may look at other options when I visit again.

Hotel room was not comfortable. Bed was only and very uncomfortable. Bathroom was good. Breakfast was overpriced but fine. Staff was nice. The best part of the hotel was the outdoor swimming pool - very nice and relaxing. Bar staff was very friendly and helpful.

Convenient location from train station. Very comfortable room (we stayed in a Superior). Very friendly staff. Lovely grounds and pool. Happy Hour at the bar was excellent value. Great food and breakfast. Plenty of comfy sofas and chairs for relaxing. Liked it so much we booked a return visit before leaving.
