Booked this hotel due to location to train station and you couldn’t get much closer , very modern, industrial feel once

The hotel is in an excellent location, is nicely 'different and quirky' and is comfortable and clean.

This "organic" hotel was very unique and might appeal to some, but not the majority. The "breakfast" they offer is an absolute joke. Using a smartphone after downloading a QR code is the only way to enter the building or open your room door. Although the facility is very clean and the beds are comfortable, amenities are minimal. Apparently, there is some sort of evening reception, but only on Friday & and Saturdays. No restaurant, no bar, no lobby area, no coffee, just water... not what I expect from a hotel, but perhaps a select few might enjoy.

I have a major complaint. During our stay, there was a breakfast buffet arranged in the lobby. There was no price on it. And there was no one at the desk for us to confirm whether breakfast was included or not. I assumed that this was for the guest and and I took the breakfast. My husband who was staying with me also got coffee for one or two days. Again, no one told us that breakfast was not included in our service and they did not tell us the actual price of the breakfast. Afterwards, I have been charged $199 for taking breakfast at the hotel for four days. This is unacceptable if I had known that the breakfast was expensive I would not have had anything. They were cheaper pay places to get coffee and a croissant outside the hotel.

Best for those who are tech savvy looking for luxury and location in Lugano. Five minute walk to the train station, and funicular make the location ideal. Totally remodeled with a NY loft vibe. Excellent breakfast. The hardest working owners make your stay here a treat.

The shower was a bit confusing, but once I got it working, it was amazing!! Haha best shower I’ve had.
