Youth hostel overlooking the world-famous Matterhorn mountain is located a short walk from the ski lifts and centre of Zermatt. It offers a modest double and multi-bed rooms with shared facilities. Accommodation for budget travellers.

Located near the centre of Zermatt, 400 m from the ski lifts, 84 km from Sion airport, 214 km from Geneva airport, 263 km from the airport of Milan in 373 km from Turin airport.

Consists of one 5-storey building.

Very good view right in the hostel room. I like that it's not bunker bed, there's also a small and short partition between beds which is good. Breakfast is yummy, kitchen staff asked for feedback, shows that they care. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Only complaint is the shower which needs to be pressed consistently to get the water flowing. Another thing to note is that it's an effort going up the slope to the hostel and then up the stairs to your dorm room.

The hotel generally exudes a high-quality feel. The lobby has an elegant and sophisticated ambiance, and the guest rooms are spacious and airy. The lighting and soft furnishings are comfortably arranged. The bedding is soft and pleasant to the touch, and the bathroom is dry and tidy with thoughtful amenities. The service is meticulous, making for an overall comfortable and relaxing experience.

The views are stunning, with a direct window view of the Matterhorn, but the climb up was exhausting. Overall, the facilities and privacy were just average, and breakfast was quite unappetizing. You really have to weigh the pros and cons if you plan to stay here.

A typical small European hostel, but for Switzerland, this price is fair. The breakfast is quite generous. However, it's pretty far from the train station, which is really inconvenient if you have luggage, unless you're willing to shell out for a taxi within the town. But then again, if I'm staying in a hostel, why would I want to spend extra money on a taxi? Zermatt truly is incredibly beautiful though!!

I could see a small view of the Matterhorn from my room. It's a walk from the station, but definitely manageable. It was a clean and pleasant stay.

The room was clean, just as shown in the photos. I could see the Matterhorn from the window, which was perfect. Just keep in mind that you need to climb quite a lot of stairs to reach the hostel. There is no elevator, and since I stayed on the highest floor, it was a bit exhausting. Apart from the stairs, everything was perfect.

The place is not far from village center. Abit of walking. The breakfast was quite ok.

As other reviews mention, the stairs right in front are killer, haha. The high altitude also makes it tough, but the view is absolutely stunning, and I knew what I was getting into when I booked, so it's all good! The breakfast was delicious, and seeing the Matterhorn from the breakfast area was just incredible.

Spur-of-the-moment trip to Zermatt, and we lucked out with amazing weather! I booked a quad room and emailed them three days prior to request a female-only room, which they accommodated. It was really clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the showers and toilets were separate and also very clean, with separate facilities for men and women. The breakfast was impressive, and the view from the room's window was unbeatable. I'd definitely recommend staying here again next time; it's unbeatable value for money.

The hostel is located on higher ground, so there are some stairs to climb, but thankfully I didn't have a suitcase. The Matterhorn is visible right from the entrance, and it's incredibly spectacular. I booked the cheapest mixed dormitory, which is a bunk room. Luckily, everyone else was quiet, and I slept soundly. You can even see the Matterhorn from the dorm window. Additionally, the hostel's service was excellent; the front desk staff were very friendly. I only brought a European adapter, and the front desk staff lent me a Swiss adapter, which was a huge help! Lastly, the hostel's breakfast was also very generous, and I was very satisfied!
