Fabulous little hotel. So clean, warm and comfortable. Great continental breakfast served by lovely ladies. Bar and restaurant buzzing, again lovely team and great welcome.

This is THE place if you're in Zermatt! Ask for Room 4, which has a large balcony looking right out on the river and the Matterhorn. Very walkable location. Breakfast was lovely and the staff are great. The restaurant downstairs is wonderful!

Really disappointed in this place. I asked for water for myself and she gave us two jugs (4.5CHF each). When I asked her why she gave us two jugs if it was only for me and you’re charging that much she said “fine you can take it home then”. When we were paying she asked if we wanted to tip and I said no, so she asked again straight after to my partner to which I said no again. How disgusting.

Can’t believe the service here. Our waiter was forcible with ordering drinks even when we said no. The food was average and ended up paying $140 for spag bol, a schnitzel, and a beer. The waiter kept insisting on a tip as well at the end which was a turn off.

As it was not so expensive as other Hotels in Zermatt, I expected to rooms to be smaller and more basic. But it was nice decorated. Hotel has no Reception, this is in the restaurant. Food is also good

The drinks are reasonably priced and the food a little high- but all of Switzerland is high on food- So we drank more and ate less..lol

Very convenient location - adjacent to the river running through Zwrmatt - 5 mins walk from train station and 5 mins walk from Sunnegga station (vertical tunnel up through mountain). Perfect views of Matterhorn from room balcony and level 1 bar balcony. Easy checkin, cosey room, friendly host. Nice breakfast choices and coffee. Recommended.

Great location. Chalet staff were super. Rooms are clean and comfortable, but overall the accommodation is quite compact.
