The hotel’s spa was lovely, and there are plenty of activities available, including clay modelling, skating, archery, tennis, and climbing. We tried the archery and had a great time.
The beach was nice, though it wasn’t the cleanest.
Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay at the hotel.
The service provided from the staff is the best thing about the hotel.
You need to walk the stairs to reach your room (suite with private pool)
The room is located near to the jungle and you can listen Tokay Gekko screaming all the night. It’s not fun!
The private pool you can’t use it in the night because all the mosquitos, flees and insects come to the light.
Hopefully we have booked only 1 night there.. you pay more than 600€/night to get an awful experience.. will never come back again!

Very recommend this hotel and restaurant for visit
Mornings here are a dream. I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, especially with the delightful option of starting the day with a sparkling wine or mimosa. Why not indulge a little when you’re surrounded by paradise?
The room design impressed me — beautifully integrated with nature, offering both comfort and harmony. Another highlight was the LIFE area, where the gym is located. It’s well-equipped and opens up to lush greenery, making workouts feel refreshing and grounded.
The only downside during my stay was the beach renovation. While I understand improvements take time, the construction did take away from the natural beachfront view. Still, it only makes me more excited to return once the work is complete — to see the beach in all its glory again.
Anantara Layan isn’t just a resort — it’s a retreat for the soul. I’ll be back.
