Baan Yuwanda Phuket Resort in Rawai

Owners are super friendly and accommodating. Rooms are nice and clean, 5 mins walk to the beach and they have shops and restaurants all around.

I stayed there for 9 days. The owners and staff are really lovely, kind and helpful. I felt safe, welcomed and cared for during my stay.

I say this because I got sick around the 8th day (diarrhea, vomiting, fever, abdominal pain), possibly linked to the local food. The owners helped me and even followed me to the hospital (even though it was in the middle of the night).

About the room, small downside, some power outages can sometimes occur.

The location itself is not bad; everything is accessible on foot as long as you agree to walk at least 15 minutes to go to the beach.

For those looking to meet Thai people and experience Thai culture, be aware that some Russians have settled there since the start of the war in Ukraine. At least half of the local population is Russian (excluding tourists).
In fact, if prices remain rather low for the moment (it's still Thailand), it is possible that they will increase within a few years (due to the contribution of Russian capital to the region as well as the acquisition of certain businesses).

My last week in Phuket was my highlight !  Close to the local beaches & snorkeling spots, swam with fish over corals.  My stay was more enjoyable than my 5-star hotel experience in Patong.  The hosts are super friendly, helpful & made my stay very homely & welcoming.  They have a fully equiped kitchen where I could cook local prawns, included as much bottled water as needed, they even provided bowls of fruit for their guests.  The room itself is spacious and the aircon worked a treat, as I was working from my room a fair bit.  They rent motorcycles, though I found the short walk was great to the beach via the lake.  The location is as close to the beach as you can get without paying a fortune, plus there was everything shop & service one would ever need available in the local area, though I gave the 7/11 just up the road a work out.  I fell in love with the entire peninsula, including Nai Harn beach, Yanui beach, Promthep cape, Rawai beach, about a 8km round trip which I walked regularly.  The local street scene and culture is enchanting.  Highly recommend a stay at Baan Oui :)

Very clean building, appealing presentation, spacious rooms, loads of light in rooms, black out curtains allow for sleeping, nice and quiet, large cooking area.
Excellent location- super close to 7/11, 10 min walk to Nai Harn beach, 2min walk to Nai Harn Lake, surrounded by cafes / restaurants / smoothie bar etc.
The owners & staff are so lovely, kind and helpful.
I felt so safe, welcomed and cared for during my stay.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Baan Oui Guest House.
100% I'll be back again.
