I booked this hotel last minute as we couldn’t travel to our next location as planned due to my partner having food poisoning. We turned up to what felt like home in a horrible situation we were in. Multiple hotel staff greeted us at the taxi and took all of our backpacks to reception. We were welcomed with such happiness and smiles and it truly made us feel so safe. Our bags were taken to our room and every time I came down to get more drinks for my partner and medication they asked how he was doing. Truly truly amazing people and perfect location, right next to the beach and 7/11 and a pharmacy just next door. They also have a restaurant in the hotel meaning i didn’t need to leave my partner to get food.
They took our bags to the taxi when we left and wished us a safe trip. Thank you so much to this hotel who gave us so much comfort and a home away from home.

The hotel is certainly a bit tired. It still has that Anapa vibe. But! The location, the helpful staff, the cleanliness, the friendly atmosphere! No modern hotel can compare! The breakfasts are delicious, even very good.
The beach is just across the street, there are plenty of eateries, shops, and massage parlors. We'll be back next year for a month. Absolutely fantastic!

1. The hotel is perfectly located between two beaches. Kata Noi Beach is 7-8 minutes away, while Kata 1 Beach is 2 minutes away. There's a currency exchange office and a 7/11 nearby.
2. The staff is incredibly friendly. We felt warm and comfortable throughout our stay.

3. The rooms are clean and serviced daily. Water, shower gel, shampoo, cotton swabs, and soap are provided. There are no kettles, but they bring a thermos if you ask.

4. The breakfasts are simple. The selection isn't huge, but everything is fresh. We were especially pleased with the coffee machine 😊
5. The room with a sea view is simply superb. The silence, the birds singing, and the sound of the sea are wonderful.

I highly recommend it. For the first time, we felt genuine and caring, even though we've been to Thailand several times. Thank you so much to all the hotel staff ☺️

The Kata Sun Beach Hotel has a fantastic location, a leisurely 2-minute walk from Kata Beach and 10-15 minutes from Kata Noi. We booked a room with a sea view, a side view, as all rooms have. Cleaning was done daily, as were towels and linens. The room was quite spacious, but there was no hairdryer or kettle with tea set, which wasn't a big deal for us; perhaps we could have asked at reception. A disposable shower kit (shampoo, shower gel, and soap) is provided and refilled. Two 0.5-liter bottles of water are provided daily. The hotel's central air conditioning is the best I've ever seen it work so well; it cooled the room in 5 minutes! Even at night, with the settings adjusted correctly, it didn't cause any discomfort. The sea-view rooms are quite quiet, with no road noise.
Special thanks to the staff for their friendliness and responsiveness. On the first night, the central air conditioner, which I've praised above, broke down. We decided to let the staff know when we went to the beach so they could fix it in our absence. Imagine our surprise when, returning from breakfast, we found a repairman in our room, who had already fixed everything. The service was top-notch!
Regarding breakfast, there's a decent variety of dishes, all the usual fare (eggs, bacon, sausages, etc.), local fruits like pineapple, watermelon, and papaya, and delicious whole-bean coffee from the coffee machine—it's delicious, but after a week, you get tired of it!
Would I recommend this hotel? Absolutely!

This hotel offers excellent value for money. I was choosing a three-star hotel during peak season and didn't expect to find a room so close to the sea. What a surprise for me was the sea view (only from the balcony). You can see the entire Kata Beach bay, including waves, how many people are there, etc.
The walk to Kata Beach took three minutes, and from the back entrance, a minute and a half! And the walk to the beach is also visible from the balcony. You can easily walk over the mountain to Kata Noi Beach, about 20 minutes. From the top, you'll enjoy a beautiful view of the bay; just don't miss the stairs leading directly to the beach.

The hotel room is large, spacious, and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows and blackout curtains.
The bed, mattress, and pillows are all comfortable. There's a refrigerator, teacups, and glasses. There's no kettle, but I asked for one, and they gave it to me. It's free. They give you two small bottles of water, but if you ask for more, they'll give you one. The hotel is cleaned daily, and overall, it's spotlessly clean. The air conditioning works fine; I didn't even turn it on at night, just opened the balcony door and slept to the sound of the waves.
A big plus is that the hotel is close to everything you need. Just walk down the steps and there's a currency exchange office and a 7/11 on the left, and a row of massage parlors on the right, so you're only a few seconds away.
The breakfasts are good. Sliced ​​vegetables: tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, shredded cabbage. Fruit: watermelon, pineapple, mango. What more could you want?
Eggs prepared in various ways: sunny-side up, scrambled, omelettes, rolled eggs, and simply boiled... Cereal and milk (for those who enjoy breakfast tacos), butter, and one type of cheese—delicious. Coffee from the machine, various varieties, I liked. Tea bags. Simple cutlery, not silver. They also serve a hot dish, fried rice with chicken. I'm a vegetarian, and I simply asked, not expecting a positive answer: "Can we have it without meat?"
They said, "We'll do it!" And they did! Personally, for me!
This was the reason I stayed at this hotel for two more days.

The hotel is very conveniently located, with an ATM and currency exchange right next to the hotel entrance. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. A bus to Phuket Airport stopped right outside the hotel for us. It costs 100 baht per person including luggage, takes 1.5 to 2 hours, and you'll be taken directly from the hotel to the airport. We highly recommend this hotel! We'll definitely stay here again next time.

The breakfast was good, and it's close to the beach, but there was noise at night, like the sound of water being pumped in, similar to the sound of an electric drill. Overall, it was alright; you can't expect more at this price.

We stayed here from the 01.-05.11 and enjoyed our Stay. The Rooms are basic but very clean. The Staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall for the price its great value.
The location was perfect only one minute away from the beach and the main area.

Was raining, but felt cozy and peaceful in room! As expected , not much fanciness- just nice place to sleep, wash, eat, refresh after beach !

Good location near the beach and 7 Eleven. Helpful staff. They helped with the luggage and offered free raincoats during rain. One of the cons - you are close to the road so you may hear vehicles passing by
