Golden Manora Hotel Bangtao Beach in Bang Tao

My experience focused primarily on transparency and communication prior to the stay.
This property is listed as new on Booking.com under the name BP Sweet Home Bang Tao, while the building itself appears on Google Maps under a different name (Nice Bangtao Beach). Under that original name, there are several negative reviews dating back 5-6 years that consistently mention poor maintenance, hygiene issues, an unreliable elevator, and a generally neglected building.
Several of these older reviews also mention that the rooms themselves were described as outdated and worn, which contrasts with how the property is currently presented online.
This information only came to light after I specifically requested the address. In subsequent communication, concerns about the building and its condition were downplayed, focusing entirely on claims that the room interior was "perfect."
I also found the communication unprofessional and inconsistent. The contact person (Bam) presented herself alternately as a "staff member" and then as someone who needed to consult the owner first, even though she was registered as a host on Booking.com. She gave various and contradictory reasons why cancellation wasn't possible.
This has led to a lack of trust in my transparency, reliability, and professional conduct.
I'm sharing this review so that future guests can make an informed decision.
