Please don’t rent a scooter from them. We had a horrible experience. The scooter had a mobile holder that was already loose, which we didn’t notice at the time of renting. While we were riding, it suddenly fell off along with our phone, which was attached to it, and our phone almost broke.

We removed the phone immediately and kept the holder inside the scooter so it could be fixed later. However, when we returned the scooter, they charged us 400 baht and refused to return our passport, which we had submitted as part of the rental. We tried to explain that the holder was loose and fell off on its own, but they were rude and dismissive, repeatedly saying it was fine when they handed it over to us.

Charging 400 baht just to fix a mobile holder felt like cheating. Moreover, the sudden fall of the phone could have caused us to lose balance and fall from the scooter, making it a serious safety concern.

On Thursday, 19 February, 2026 around 9:30 a.m.. I went to ETK 24/7 coin laundry service and met an employee who is rude, poor customer service skills, unprofessional, disrespectful and no manner. When the small washing machine available, she won’t let me use it and told me to use a larger size of a washing machine which is too large for the amount of my clothes and it is cost more money. It doesn’t make sense. She likes to argue and makes an excuse rather than try to listen and fix the problem which caused me to be upset. 😠 I won’t come back to this place again and I will go to Otteri and others wash & dry service instead.

Suitable for families, not for digital nomads.
Cons:
The wifi was exhausted , kept going slow and disconnected. Somebody knocked the door despite the "do not disturb" sign and woke me up. Israeli music played too loud.
Pro: comfy large bed.

Stayed on 10-13th November, seriously so satisfied with my stay at ETK Patong Hotel. The price is cheap but the room is really decent for a budget stay. The location is super strategic — easy to get around and close to everything. The receptionist and staff were super nice and helpful, and I really loved their hospitality. Service was smooth with zero issues the whole time. Totally worth it, and I’d definitely stay here again when I’m in Phuket! 🙌✨

The hotel is nice, but I’m writing this review specifically about their side business—scooter rentals. I rented a scooter for 250 Baht per day. They held my passport as a deposit, and the process was smooth and hassle-free. Both ladies at the reception were polite and helpful 🙂.

The scooter operated on a full-tank-to-full-tank basis. Although it was a bit old and had visible scratches, both they and I took photos and videos for safety. It ran perfectly fine and got the job done. I returned it late at night without any issues.

It was an unpleasant experience. Aside from two members of staff, the rest were unfriendly and unkind. They will shout at you and talk very rudely. It is not right to talk to customers in that way.

There was a big concert that I was unaware of when booking this hotel and it was extremely loud, the rooms were vibrating. It was impossible to sleep through it.

The staff angrily banged on my room door and tried to get into the room (luckily I latched the door) while I was getting ready in the bathroom. This is because I was a few minutes late for check-out. They then yelled at me while I spoke to them in a calm and respectful way. Mind you, I had booked and paid for an extra night already. Utterly disrespectful!

The air conditioning didn't worked properly (it stayed at 16 degrees Celsius and it barely cooled the room). We also didn't have hand towels and hair dryer. Apart from these it was ok for the price.

Nice place near the beach, walk 5 minute to the beach, kindly and friendly staff
The room is comfortable, clean, nice view on the roof top, I'll be back again soon.

The bathroom is very ugly, smelly and dirty. The room was also dirty, apparently they haven't cleaned. The towels provided were extremely smelly! The House is also extremely old and they do nothing. Dirty everywhere you look and it doesn't look anything like the photos when you want to book. The shower head is above the toilet and you need to use the same floor for showering. One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The room had a window that didn't have glass in it, when you opened the window you found out why, its the view on a wall. Not allowed to wash any toiletpaper down the toilet, which is not very comfortable. The AC was not really quitte. Room was on the street so it was very noisy. They gave us another room and it was a bit better but also old and heavy noisy.
