Kalim Resort in Patong

Located next to Patong town, the Kalim Resort is a serene place to wind down. The beach is steps away, meanwhile Patong town is about 15 to 20 mins leisurely by foot. The blue pool invites travellers to jump and swim. The staff can speak English so no worries. Rooms and bathrom are spacious and clean. Overall, an awesome experience of chilling and relaxing.

Good clean rooms, above average breakfast, a bit away from the Bangla Street noise but within the city. Good stay.

It would be nice if they changed the buffet menu every morning.

This hotel is so good for its price! The rooms are cleaned properly every day. The pool is big and also cleaned every day. 7/11 is 5min walk away so is the night street food market. Breakfasts were delicious and they also have a free ping-pong

The hotel was a steal deal. All other resorts were almost double the price or more. The location is perfect just a 100 metres from the beach and a 24 hour 7/11 . The rooms were big and spacious and can easily accommodate 3 people. Breakfast buffet was ok , they serve mostly thai food and not much of a continental option but you can’t complain for the price. The pool is also clean and our pool view room was also awesome. There wasn’t really anything to complain about this hotel really. Will book it again. One more thing, they have beer 24 hours so if you want to drink like at 2-3 AM in the night just go down to the reception and grab a chang or singha at 70 bhat. Its such a good thing as 7/11 in Thailand dont serve alchohol after a certain time. Kalim beach is also amazing with so many local street food on the beach, you get a pure local vibe too!

The value of the room was amazing. I think it was @ $25 USD per night and it came with breakfast. It's really spacious, and they give you water in glass bottles daily along with cleaning your room. If you're not there to decline the cleaning service, they will clean it anyways. There's a sign in the room to put your valuables away but I didn't and didn't have any issues with it. Housekeeping cleaned every room thoroughly, including the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was pretty decent especially if you are non veg. I'm vegan so just stuck with fruit, toast, and the juices. I wish they had one noodle dish daily that has no egg. The employees there are hardworking, very polite, and accommodating. Right next to the resort, there are scooter rentals, restaurants, 7 elevens, and food vendors. The restaurant next door will make the food vegan for me and offer a cup of ice with my choice of drinks from their fridge that comes with the meal, unlike many places that will charge extra. There's cross contamination because they do cook the food with other non veg items. It's a quick way to eat on days I don't want to travel to the other side of town to get vegan food. The resort also offers towels for hanging out poolside and for going to the beach, which is a few minute walk away. Kalim beach wasn't the cleanest with all the debris that ended up on the shoreline, but it's still safe to go into the water. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in need of a budget stay.

At first, we were uncertain about selecting this location, but it turned out to be well worth the money! The service provided was excellent, and both the room and toilet were well-maintained. I would highly recommend this place to everyone!
