Great location, but the cleanliness really wasn't up to par. There were small bugs and cockroaches running around on the table and near the fridge. I wonder why they don't spray for pests when they clean? And to top it off, they charged for luggage storage, which I found quite surprising.

The room is big and clean. The location is quite far from the attraction and the shop. But there are many restaurants in the hotel area. If you’re a Muslim travelling here, you can grab halal food from the small shop in front of the hotel entrance; it's open from 9am-5pm. Very large room and very clean. The service is so great value and breakfast have many options with many varieties for meat lovers or vegetarians. The hotel also has a huge park with many animals for entertaining the kids so they don't get bored. Aver all, great value to stay here.

Every time I visit Pattaya, I make sure to book this hotel. The ambiance is so comfortable, and the pool is incredibly photogenic. This time, I booked a direct pool access room, which was incredibly pleasant – I could go straight from my room's balcony into the pool!

We stayed in a high-floor room with a sea view, which was pretty good. The room was spacious, and the pool downstairs was usable, but the water was a bit cold due to the weather, so we didn't go in!

Great hotel in a good location. It’s an oasis of calm in the midst of the craziness of chinatown. We always enjoy our stay at Hotel Royal Bangkok. It's so so so convenient with the happenings in Chinatown just below the hotel. There is not much noise travelling into the room. We will return again to stay in this hotel. The service from the counter staff was always great.

Very clean very quiet, good access to the beach. Breakfast is above average and it is vegetarian friendly. Restaurant is rather very expensive and there is no good food options nearby. For example, a bottle of beer is 500% more expensive. If you stay here and want to book day trips, better use online apps. Hotel’s tour desk and booking agents in general in Thailand charge up to 200% more.

We had a good time staying here. The jacuzzi pool was great, the room is quiet and comfortable. Our room has a beautiful beach and ocean view which is amazing. All the staffs are helpful & attentive. In room dining prices are not overpriced. One small comment would be the room slipper is too thin and slippery, so we didn’t use it. We will definitely come back to stay here again.

The staff at the front of the hotel is always friendly and helpful, he assisted with bringing luggage upstairs to the room and even helped us when we left in the taxi. The only good thing about this place is its proximity to the beach; everything else is pretty mediocre. The cleanliness was just okay, and on the first night, I was given a room at the very end, right by the road. It was incredibly noisy, with motorbikes revving their engines so loudly it was deafening.

It’s quite an underrated hotel that is affordable and yet close to the main area in Bangkok. You probably will need A 5-6 mins walk after alighting from the train station. The room is also surprisingly good, clean and modern.

Regular guest here. The hotel itself is nice but service is different. It tends to be some staff members differentiate the guests depending from which country they are. If you’re European looking, 100% you’ll get a perfect service, otherwise you’ll be not so lucky or even can face rudeness and unwillingness to help. So sad that the hotel policy is so frustrating and undeveloped.

Great location, right next to Patong Beach. There's a 7-Eleven and a pharmacy just across the street downstairs. Patong Beach is just a short walk across the road. They have a gym downstairs and a 24-hour laundry room (for a fee). Overall, the hotel was pretty good. The location is not too far from Khao San Road and the Grand Palace, and it's relatively convenient to get to ICONSIAM and the Jodd Fairs Rama IX night market. The downside is that the air conditioning in the room wasn't very easy to adjust, and it got a bit cold at night with the direct breeze. The hotel has a swimming pool, which the kids really enjoyed.

We have stayed here many times over the years both post and pre flights to home. The plus suites are especially spacious and comfortable. Love the pool area.
