Novotel Phuket Kamala Beach in Kamala

Great hotel in a great location - definitely not the full on area of Phuket - really liked the laid back vibe.

The hotel has a very good location, and the staff are somewhat cooperative. However, the room cleanliness needs more attention. For example, when I tried to use the small spoon in the coffee area, it was sticky and not clean. The hotel should focus more on improving cleanliness.

Staff is always great ...especially the manager at the breakfast.

Very clean very quiet, good access to the beach. Breakfast is above average and it is vegetarian friendly.
Restaurant is rather very expensive and there is no good food options nearby. For example, a bottle of beer is 500% more expensive.
If you stay here and want to book day trips, better use online apps. Hotel’s tour desk and booking agents in general in Thailand charge up to 200% more.

We had a good time staying here. The jacuzzi pool was great, the room is quiet and comfortable. Our room has a beautiful beach and ocean view which is amazing. All the staffs are helpful & attentive. In room dining prices are not overpriced. One small comment would be the room slipper is too thin and slippery, so we didn’t use it. We will definitely come back to stay here again.

Changed to this hotel from Thai Kamala beach literally a couple of weeks before we travelled. So glad we did. This was cheaper and in a far better location for us.
The Ocean Villa we booked made our stay. It was an amazing place. Great view over kamala beach and bay . The room itself was big with a separate bathroom that had a whirlpool bath right in front of the big windows with the same view as the bedroom.
Small area separate to bathroom & bedroom to make tea & coffee and had a mini fridge in. Rooms had everything you could need. It's the only one we had on our 3 week trip around Thailand that had an iron & ironing board!
Bed was very comfy so slept really well. As these detached villas are away from the pool and main hotel it is peaceful. Just the sound of the sea , perfect. No better start to the day than opening the curtains and balcony doors and getting back into bed to admire the view and sound of the sea.

Nice to stay. Recommend the stay with Novotel Kamala beach hotel. The location is great the hotel is located near beach you can enjoy the beach all the time.

I want to share the positive review of my stay at this hotel. Nice room, very clean. Areas are beautiful and well-kept. Beach is good. The staff is professional. I want to especially note the ladies at the reception Kathy and Jehn, they are so friendly, and always ready to help. And the waiter guy Shuyaa, very attentive. But in fact, All the staff does their job very well, thank them for that. Great place, great hotel, I will definitely come back next time

We booked a Jacuzzi villa for 3 nights. Unfortunately, it rained most evenings, so we ended up spending a lot of time indoors. The room was decent—comfortable enough, though nothing particularly special.

One point to note is that the hotel seemed to cater to a large group of indians which may affect the atmosphere for some travelers.

The biggest letdown was the breakfast. The quality of the food was poor, and we found it quite disappointing. While the hotel emphasizes reducing food wastage—which is important—they should also focus on ensuring the food is actually enjoyable so that it can prevent unnecessary food wastage. To be specific, their stir fry noodles are inedible and not tasty at all, and for a hotel with a reputable name, it is sad that they cant even cook something so basic.

Overall, it was an average experience. There’s definitely room for improvement, especially in the food department. However, the jacuzzi villa is a unique beachfront hotel room. If u intend to stay here, opt out of the breakfast option, U will save alot. They quoted me $50 for each breakfast day, which is not even worth it. there are better food choices with affordable prices on grab or foodpanda.
