Hotel Nikko in Bangkok

The hotel rooms are poorly ventilated. Even though it opened in 2023, there's still a strong, pungent smell, likely formaldehyde. I suspect the bed has dust mites because I kept itching while lying on it. The bathroom was disgusting; the showerhead had a thick layer of grime. Can you believe I only had cold water for my shower on the third floor? The air conditioning also turned off by itself in the middle of the night. Toiletries were not provided.

I never write reviews however felt this was necessary to avoid other guests experiencing what I did.

Checked in, got the key card went to my room turned the light on and was greeted by a roach the size of a coke can. Hotel refused to refund as it not their policy and offered me a free upgrade which I declined as if their is a roach in one room why not in all rooms.

Do not stay here under any circumstances it is an infested rats nest. Additionally asides from the roach it is kinda dirty inside but the lady on the desk was friendly as the only redeeming quality.

I stayed at Studio Ekamai Hotel from April 11 to April 13. On April 12, a cockroach fell from the air conditioner onto my friend, and the hotel moved us to another room. However, the next night, at around 4 AM on April 13, there was another cockroach crawling on my hair. After that, we couldn't sleep at all and had to spend the rest of the night sitting in the hotel lobby.

The hotel never once apologized or admitted any fault on their part. I requested compensation for the sleepless night, but they just told me to contact the booking site. I did, but the site responded that they couldn't get in touch with the hotel. It's now been over 24 hours.

The reception and the manager were incredibly dishonest. This is by far the dirtiest and most disrespectful hotel I’ve ever experienced. I strongly advise others not to stay here.
