Pinghostel

Usually we do not book hostels but prefer to stay in quality hotels. But the pictures did convince us to try it in Chiang Mai. We had a deluxe double room, which surpassed our expectation. The room with the ensuite bathroom was very clean, spacious, quiet and nicely equipped. It was much better than many 3 and 4 stars hotels we had stayed. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The location in the Old Town was perfect, just a few steps to the Sunday Night Market and temples. Be aware that there is no elevator (we do not expect one in a hostel) and the breakfast is basic (we prefer to buy and eat fruits instead). But the overall value and benefit we got for the price were amazing. We felt so comfortable that we even extended our stay. We recommend this hostel, even for those who usually stay in better hotels.

We really enjoyed this hostel for our time in Chiang Mai. We had a private room and the hostel felt more like a nice hotel room for a hostel price. We checked in at 7pm and the staff had left our key in a lockbox outside the hotel. The rooms are also extremely sanitary. The location is central to all the main attractions in Chiang Mai. The breakfast only consists of tea, coffee, toast and cereal which was the only downside but other than that this stay was great!

Clean and modern facilities at a reasonable price. Great location for the weekend night market and other attractions in town. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely spacious double room with a great comfy bed. Very basic breakfast but then who wants to eat in the hotel! Good for a snack before street food brekkie. Helpful hints from the super friendly staff. Clean. Quiet. Moments from the Sunday market. Mountain view. Temple opposite.
Just perfect.
