BP Chiangmai City Hotel in Chiang Mai City

The hotel is abit old but the atmosphere is rlly good . The rooms are clean and the front desk is 24 hr available and very helpful and friendly.

This hotel is located in the old city, making it convenient to get around and visit attractions, especially the weekend and Saturday night markets. The breakfast is also decent. The downsides are that the window faces another building which is very close, and the lobby is on the second floor. When calling a car, the parking lot doesn't show up as a pickup point, so you have to go to the roadside to guide the driver. Overall, it offers great value for money.

This hotel offers great value for money. The breakfast is decent, the staff are friendly, and the location is excellent, right next to the old town, making it convenient to get anywhere. There's also a small pool, perfect for a swim if you visit in the summer.

Great value for money! This hotel has a pool and a restaurant, and it's right in the heart of Chiang Mai's Old City. It's super close to famous attractions like Tha Phae Gate and Wat Phra Singh, just a 10-15 minute walk. Plus, there are plenty of dining options nearby. I'd definitely choose to stay here again if I come back.

The hotel looks quite large, and it actually is very spacious. If you're staying in a room further inside, expect quite a walk... They have a pool and gym, not huge but good enough for splashing around with friends. The rooms are quite big and clean, though my friend's room had a pretty serious air conditioner leak, so they ended up switching rooms. It's right on the edge of the old city, so transportation is convenient, and it's not noisy at night.

We booked to stay at this hotel after seeing the pictures of it on trip and thinking it looked nice.
To start with the pros, the lobby and the rooms in the hotel are big and spacious and it has got a grand feel to it, the pool area is also a nice touch to the hotel and I did enjoy sitting in the sun at the pool. The air con in the rooms also works very well providing the size of the room. The location is also great right in the middle of chiang mai with lots of brilliant restaurants and massage parlours down the street and nearby.
Now for the cons, the hotel is very dated and this shows in the rooms and the lobby, although I can see they have started to modernise, it still feels old.
The room was very dirty when we arrived and I don’t think the cleaners really done much at all whilst we was there. The walls are very thin and we could here the rooms next door and also building work that was happening outside that would start at 8am (Not the hotels fault but still wasn’t great for our stay)
Overall for the price it was a handy base for our short stay but I can’t say I would stay again.
