Romena Grand Hotel in Chiang Mai City

Very good and good clean

The hotel's location is close to Chiang Mai Gate. If you enjoy walking and don't mind a bit of a trek, it's not too far from the Old City night market. Getting to Cocoon, CentralFestival, JJ Market, and Maya Lifestyle Shopping Center by taxi is also very convenient. During my stay, the room was cleaned thoroughly every day, and the water pressure for showering was stable. Given that it was already quite hot in March, the water temperature was acceptable. I remember staying at a different hotel in Chiang Mai in November, and the shower water wasn't hot enough there. Aside from the air conditioning being a bit noisy, both inside and outside the room, I was quite satisfied with my stay at this hotel.

We found ROMENA Grand Hotel very clean, curtious staff, excellent location, near to all interesting places to visit, We requested change of room as couple which they so kindly respected our request and managed. Likewise, when we requested for change of TV with android they did very promptly.
Staff were very supportive, very well organized 👏.

We come to Chiang Mai for vacation 3-4 times every year, staying at Rowena Grand Hotel for 4 days. It's just a 3-minute walk to the morning market and the Saturday Night Market. Because it is mountain views, it's very peaceful and quiet. The rooms are spacious, bright, and full of natural light with plenty of space.
Special thanks to the front desk staff, Mr. Oat — he is polite, has a warm and friendly smile, and always answers any questions patiently.
Overall, I would highly recommend Rowena to my friends.

A satisfying trip overall! The only downside was the constant drilling noise from downstairs for two days – it was incredibly loud and gave me a headache. As others have mentioned, the shower water temperature was a bit low (picture 2). It's best to shower in the afternoon when the sun is out this time of year; showering at night can be a bit cold. Also, this was the first time I've encountered an outlet where my iPhone charger couldn't fit because the light switch was too close (picture 1) 😭. The hotel is right next to the ancient city, with small restaurants right outside and a night market a little further down the road. It's super convenient for food, drinks, and entertainment.

Close to most of the tourist attractions. Room was spacious and clean. No food or beverages but they do provide bottle water and instant coffee and tea with kettle in the room. Also, cafes and restaurants just two minutes walk. Highly recommend.
