Lamai Beach - 1 min
If you read my review you must book the front beach right now because of it fantastic. you will surprise with ceiling shower that is incredible. The front beach is suitable to couple and honeymoon
We stayed here for 7 days at the end of January 2026. We received an upgrade to a beach bungalow with a direct view of the beach
There are also plenty of nearby dining choices both on the beach and along the main road. The location is at the far end of Lamai Beach, so it's not central. We found it to be a good spot
What more could you ask for? The bungalow was fantastic and fully equipped, even featuring a rooftop terrace. However, we barely used the rooftop, as the balcony was more than sufficient
We only went to the terrace on Thursday evening to watch the weekly fireworks show from there. When you first turn off the main road, it can be a bit startling as the access road looks a bit run-down
But the resort itself is very clean. The dining options seemed good; we only booked accommodation and had breakfast once. There was a huge selection, enough to satisfy anyone
Centara Life Cha-am Beach Resort boasts a fantastic beachfront atmosphere, with the beach just a few steps away. The rooms are spacious, clean, and modernly decorated, offering clear sea or pool views
Excellent place just to relax. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again.
The accommodation was spotlessly clean, and the beach felt very private. We traveled with our dogs, and they had plenty of space to run around
The hotel is located in Cha-am, not Hua Hin as I initially believed. This resulted in an unproductive 30-minute drive to the Hua Hin Night Market. Getting to Cha-am beach took a similar amount of time
Pretty clean and comfortable. Noticeably old and the beachline is not so clean but the food is pretty nice.
Staff is friendly and hurriedly complies requests.
The thoughtful touches included provided dog beds and treats, and even a dedicated dog wash station for them after playing in the sea
Pros: Friendly staff, delicious breakfast and beach restaurant, private beach, cute pool, convenient free shuttle bus, beautiful traditional Thai style rooms, reasonable price
Absolutely value of money! The only one complaint is a main pool. The pool was dirty during the week of our stay and be a bit cleaner close to weekends when locals came to the hotel
Location of the hotel is great, close to Cicada and Tamarind Markets. The beach in the location is amazing!
Make sure to walk on the beach at low tide – the sand is incredibly soft and pleasant underfoot!
It's conveniently located near Cicada and Tamarind markets, so you can easily chill at the hotel or explore the night markets
This resort has a Thai-style vibe and is mostly frequented by European guests, making it a quiet and relaxing escape
Very relaxing, definitely a place if you just want to chill and relax. staff were great, have both modern and traditional rooms Right on the beach which was clean and beautiful, water was beautiful and clean
Super good location side beach view
Very quiet and lovely beach hotel, with mainly locals in the area. The restaurant wa snot always open though, so it was not easy to buy water. It might be a good idea o get snacks and water in advance.
This is honestly one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. All the staff, from the parking attendants to the receptionists, to the restaurant and room service people, were really kind and polite
They would greet us every time we walked by and would help us without us needing to ask. The facilities were superb and the breakfast is top notch. We can’t wait to come back here
We stayed at Deluxe room on 3rd floor. My mom is 89 years old, staffs are very kind to bring wheelchair to take my mom to the room both times of check in and check out

wonderful stay and hope to come back one day. The beach is one of the nicest on the island with lots of activities. The staff is very attentive and friendly and the rooms themselves are beautiful and comfortable
I understand certain people struggle to go 5 minutes without smoking but the hotel should have designated smoking areas. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, bar, beach, pool
Everywhere all the time someone blowing their disgusting smoke in my face. They also did not mention a happy honeymoon ever at all even though we left a note in the booking note, which seemed weird to me
Of course the drinks and food are overpriced but the happy hours are good. My only complaint is the smoking
We stayed 5 nights in November. The best thing was the room, incredible level of quality and attention to detail. The beach is ok (I guess really good for Thailand standards but you can find better ones in the Caribbean)
They have golf cart buggy service on demand and we never waited more than a couple minutes to be picked up and delivered anywhere throughout the resort

It is always easier to blame outsiders, ain't it! Nothing Thai about it, humanity is this way!
Anyway this stay, which will run into 6 weeks by the time we leave, was peculiar as we were the only guests most of the time!
Nonetheless and to cut six weeks short, the experience has been nothing but amazing! Rooms are more than comfortable, more than adequate for a short stay (reminder, we've been here...
Amazing place, amazing staff all around and the food was good as well. Perfect with the pool and the beach in front. Breakfast was really good. All in all one of the better places I’ve been in life !
Such a beautiful private location. Small hotel. Stunning beach views. Lovely staff. Will definitely come back!!
Our hut was 2 huts away from the beach and you could hear and see the waves - no traffic noise. At night you have no privacy because there are windows everywhere and you have to shut de all the blinds
Very good. The only things to improve are the shower pressure being very low and a stool being provided for applying makeup. Otherwise, a 10.
Wow!! What a beautiful and peaceful place to stay with friends or family!
Direct beach access and comfortable rooms! Clean and tidy. Near to the main attractions and real value for money
A hotel that could be really nice but .... isn't. Tired, worn rooms in need of a refurbishment with a lack lust "pool". Nice beach area but don't expect the beer and cocktails to come cheap.
Although some areas of the resort are currently under renovation, the remaining facilities still function well and are able to support guests’ needs. The staff communicate well and are helpful for foreign visitors
The price was very reasonable considering we went during higher season. Location was good and the beach was very beautiful. Service was amazing.
Peter is very kind and shows a high level of responsibility in his service. Overall, the dinner was fair
Great location, beautiful beach, and a nice view from the room.
Conveniently, though, by the small pool near the beach, you can rent very comfortable loungers for 1000 baht a day. And the basic ones by the main pool (about 14 of them) cost 500 baht a day
The taxi from the pier cost 250 baht. The beach right in front of the hotel is fantastic, and the male attendant who manages the towels was really good – he's the reason I gave the last 100 baht as a tip
His enthusiasm also led us to book a night squid fishing trip for 9 people. However, all the staff here seem to have two different attitudes: one for Western guests and another for Chinese guests
Everything was ok, except low amount of beach chairs and poor and repeatedly same breakfasts... and miriads of mosquitos, what is of course not hotel fail...
Vongdeuan is located in a beautiful beach. The cabins have been very nice, clean and with good aircon and interior. The service is great, especially the support of the lady at the reception, but also the other staff
One evening, we also encountered teenagers on the beach who were indiscriminately bullying kids playing there. I never even saw something like this in Australia, yet it happened on Koh Samet
The pricing attracts a certain type of clientele, and since there are many very cheap hotels nearby, the beach attracts all sorts of tourists
The path is challenging, but the view is unforgettable. Beach: During our stay, high tide peaked between 11 AM and 12 PM, so comfortable swimming was only possible until about 2 PM
If you’re looking for a relaxing holiday with a private beach, delicious food and waking up with a sea view: this is the right place. We stayed for 3 nights, it was like landing on paradise
We fell in love with this place, it is amazing, its beaches are spectacular, for hiking it is also very good! If you like to walk a lot you can get to another beach nearby
We love this place, have been coming here for years. But lately it’s got a bit expensive for what is essentially huts on the beach. Still a very special get away.
We had the best time in this hotel. We will come back! My son has severe nut allergy and thanks to all the staff who was always careful with his food in the kitchen we enjoyed our holidays. Great food by the way!
Food: There's one cafe where all services (food, massages) are recorded, and you pay upon checkout. I can't say the food was bad; it was edible, BUT my children and I got severely ill with food poisoning
As for the beach: there used to be a bar on it, the staff set up sun loungers and gave out towels. Now the bar has been demolished
Additionally, the pool is enough space for people who want to get sunbathing, really suitable to take a vocation with sun and beach! I will visit again!
Why not hire at least one intelligent employee at the restaurant and at the reception who speaks English????!!!!
Customer orientation is also not great - we needed a microwave oven - our request was categorically rejected, regardless of the willingness to pay for it
One of my favorite spots for great dinner in beautiful and romantic setting. Some of the profits are donated for Healthcare projects. Real pain in the ass is extra fee for service at the end on top of the bill
We were not ready to receive them, despite the fact that the room was booked several months before arrival. They didn't have enough of my passport, so they had to look for a reservation on their phone
Apparently, different people read the mail and receive guests(
However, those who read the mail helped me quickly arrange additional flowers in the room on my daughter's birthday upon arrival
There are two great pools (one saltwater) and a cozy, small beach. Pro tip: Don’t just grab a taxi from the pier like I did—it’s expensive. Check with the hotel first for better transfer options
The room was perfect with a private pool and a unique "forest rain" atmosphere at night. Hands down, the most comfortable bed I’ve had in Thailand. Any request we had was handled instantly
The hotel design is stunning, and being driven around in small wooden buggies makes you feel truly pampered. The food (Thai, Western, and Japanese) is delicious, and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly
Amazing Place to run away from busy day as and rush of Tha island
Highly recommended, I’ll definitely be back!
Yes, treatments are pricier than what you’ll find outside the resort, but the space itself is beautiful, serene, and well kept. Food at the hotel was good and perfectly fine, though not particularly memorable
The hotel tried to make extra accommodations due to ongoing construction on the beach (free dinner, drink, and massage). The construction did not limit access to any of the amenities
A good hotel near the beach. In the evening you can walk to cafes, markets. It is interesting to watch the tides: in the morning the lighthouse seems far out to sea, and by the end of the day you can walk to it
It's a rocky beach and there are too many rocks in front of hotel, hence very difficult to get to the beach during high tides. The waves hit the wall of hotel hard during high tides. Beach isn't very crowded though
Major renovation also going on at beach side, that makes it not too good visually. It wasn't mentioned while booking though their website mentions it
Very clean and professionally staffed hotel. At first it was a bit confusing to find where things are and there was no map. Very close to be able to walk around shops and restaurants
Breakfast had a good selection however just be vigilant when choosing some things they may have ants in the trays especially the chocolate coissants. Lunch & dunner menu was fabulous large portions so you could share
Beautiful resort with scenic views and a private beach. Lamai beach is calmer and cleaner beach as compared to chaweng beach. Staff here is extremely helpful and caring, they make sure you have a pleasant stay
Nicely appointed and well laid out resort right on Lamai Beach. Plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance, and they mix great drinks at the resort as well as have a nice restaurant
We had the best time at Thai House Beach Resort, absolutely everything was amazing
The staff couldn’t be more helpful, the room was great the beach and pool lovely and the location perfect
We will be back as one of the best hotels we have stayed in Thailand
Great hotel by the beach! Our room was more towards the street rather than beachfront but it was a great central location and the room was huge and beautiful! Great air conditioning and a nice patio with 2 chairs and a table for us to enjoy our coffee
The hotel has a private beach, a swimming pool, the location is great, there are a lot of restaurants and massage places near the restaurant. Lamai night market also is a walking distance
Perfect hotel if you want to be quiet and rest. Very clean and spacious rooms. (I recommend a villa) pool and beach with many sun loungers. And very good massages inside the hotel
The room, swimming pool and breakfast were excellent. Many cafes nearby. The beach and sea is not good but if you in a car you can get to lonely beach for example
A well-balanced resort offering comfort, convenience, and a relaxed island atmosphere. Cleanliness is well maintained throughout the property, with rooms and public areas consistently tidy and comfortable
Only stayed for one night, room was nice, staff friendly and location good. The fact it doesn’t really have a beach is fine as there are plenty right next to the hotel
Pros: A good value-for-money hotel. While it doesn't have a beach, it boasts many beautiful coconut trees. The facilities are standard, which is understandable given the reasonable price
Rooms spacious, clean, modern with comfy beds and big balconies. Staff super friendly and attentive. Breakfast good but could use more variety; beach here rocky (better nearby)
Lovely stay at AWA! Prime spot on Kai Bae Beach – direct access, relaxed vibe, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Stunning long pool is the star, perfect for lounging
We were well taken care of and the staff genuinely cared for us. It was a great stay and we truly enjoyed it!
Best hotel out of the area - spacious! Nice view from the pool.
But the bar should open later than 10pm..
Ace of HH stands out not only on its beauty and direct beach access, but more importantly the friendliness and dedication of all staff members from the General Manager to the pool assistant, server at the breakfast to the cleaning lady
Peaceful & Elegant & relaxing! Definitely will stay again at Ace hotel when visit Hua Hin! 🫶🏼
It’s one of our best stays in HH and we’ve stayed in different properties in our many visits
The taxi fare ranges from 160 THB to over 300 THB based on availability. At times waited over 30 minutes for a taxi to accept the journey

The also have different kind of stay options with cottages on beach aswell. The resturant was not opened when we visited. For food you have to walk till then centre which is 30mins away
It is very close to the beach, the environment is very beautiful, and the service attitude of the hotel staff is also very good. Next time I come to Khao Lak, I will choose this hotel again
Best resort in Khao lak. Nway is so responsive and helpful she is the best person at Khao Lak ensuring the property runs smoothly.
Lovely sea views, and quiet beach. Very nice pool and comfortable sunbeds. Shower in room was pathetic, with hardly any flow. Restaurant was always empty(they need to advertise on the beach that they have food available)
Resort with the best location and sea view, on the beach!!! Very comfortable lounge and swimming pool chairs! Also a very good restaurant with very affordable prices and delicious Thai food!
Because I was going to Similan Island, I chose a hotel on Khao Lak Beach

Long Beach - 1 min
The rooms are cleaned well, the breakfast is really good, there is a free transfer from/till the port at check-in and check-out days. The hotel has kind of its own little quiet beach
The beach was private with white sand, suitable balance of sun and shade as well as being close to the bar. We booked the best room in the resort and it didn’t disappoint
Housekeeping deserves particular recognition as the room was made up perfectly every day and the attention to detail was impressive. The resort’s private beach was excellent and we used nearby Love Beach often
We stayed in room D1, which I recommend, as it faces the sea. There's also an off-site massage center on the beach with very reasonable prices (400 or 500 baht for one hour)
The best hotel on Phi Phi, with a wonderful breakfast and its own private beach.
The hotel has its own small beach, not many people, and there's enough space for everyone. You can also walk to Long Beach. The rooms are compact but have everything you need. There are some small inclines with steps
You can even dine on the beach if the tide is out, which was so beautiful during sunset! Breakfast was simple but the eggs were fresh and there was always good coffee, yummy bread and fruit
A very pleasant hotel, was a holiday on holiday kind of feel. Negative - a very dangerous, unusable treadmill was still allowed to be used by guests in the gym. Belt needs to be tensioned or replaced
The resort was in a fabulous location! Close to all the shops and restaurants without being in the thick of things! Lovely restaurant with really excellent food for lunch and dinner
Our a/c went out one day and the staff fixed it within a half hour. Everything was clean and the pool was nice. Scooter rentals right at the hotel if you’re brave enough
nice and calm! could be a bit better gym and resto but location perfect

Lipa Noi Beach - 11 min
The food is absolutely delicious! At the usual prices for a tourist area. The staff is extremely kind and responded to our every request. The beach is a continuous pleasure. The pool temperature is simply perfect
Great beach access and very reasonable rates for room and other service. If you have your own transportation or can afford taxi, this is great hotel for you
The beach is soft, clean and great for swimming. The restaurant has beanbag chairs right on the beach where you can watch a stunning sunset
Beautiful location, quite and far away from the chaos and discos. The beach is wonderful and spacious for walking, the swimming pool clean
I didn't stay there as a person who was relaxed, but as someone who came for a truly pampering day. The place is simply wonderful. The pool blends in with the sea in a magical and endless way
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The view from the restaurant over the pool and out to the ocean is magnificent. The food was better than the other resorts we stayed at
Small pool but sunbeds on the beach. Far enough away from the really busy part of the strip but only 5 minutes walk to get there. Lots of bars and restaurants close by
We will be happy to stay here again on our next visit to the island. Breakfasts could be more varied. There are not enough towel hooks in the showers
Beautiful hotel with a great staff....don't be mislead though. The hotel is located on a fishing beach, not a swimming beach. This hotel is still a wonderful value for solo visitors.
The staff is super friendly and helpful. The location is perfect - close enough to walk to the busy part of Chaweng, but quiet and relaxed. The hotel’s beach is also lovely
Highly recommended, clean and quiet.
The most beautiful beach section in Samui.
Away from the Chaweng chaos but still reachable in 5 minutes.
I planned to stay only two nights but ended up staying two and a half weeks! Everything was great, especially for the price. The rooms are spacious and very clean, with daily cleaning and fresh sheets
