Had a peaceful stay at this lovely beachside resort. The manager and staff were super sweet and even arranged for a surprise birthday cake in the morning for breakfast

We had a wonderful stay at Baan Chaweng Beach Resort & Spa and are leaving with a very positive impression

This is a 3-star hotel, so it’s not luxury or ultra-modern, and some parts feel a bit dated—but everything is kept in absolutely spotless condition. The cleanliness really stands out

The location is perfect—right on a beautiful beach and in the center of Chaweng, which makes everything very convenient. We didn’t try the hotel food as we keep kosher and only had fruits, so we can’t comment on that

I have been visiting Bann Chaweng Beach Resort and Spa for 20 years, and I absolutely love it here. The resort is situated in the best part of the beach, with beautiful beach front villas

The location is excellent, right on the seafront with the best beachfront spot, very close to shopping malls and restaurants within walking distance.

The beach front villas are phenominal. They have 4 bedrooms placed around the common areas - pool, patio, living/dining and kitchen. Once you want to venture out top restaurants are only 5-10 minutes away.

Few of of the rare finds in Koh Samui. We rented villa #34, on water front with view of rising sun, sound of rearing sea water and tranquility of atmosphere. We received more than expected

And we liked the location, considering we had a few friends staying on the north side, but we ended up shopping (Tops supermarket) and making runs to that mall (Central) here and there which was like a 6 min drive, and to go to restaurants and to Chaweng or Chaweng Noi (best beaches, especially for jogging or eating/drinking on the beach) it is an easy drive to get to

The main pool is open which is right next to the beach where you can take out their kayaks (we recommend water shoes for rocks but not necessary- no sea urchins)

The resort is gorgeous and location good to Chaweng Beach. I recommend avoiding the short term rental in Kanda 34.

The hotel was lovely and relaxing, room was very nice and pool area by the beach was perfect. Would definitely stay again

My boyfriend and I sat and waited for another 15 minutes. But the room seemed to have just been opened. The room was not clean, there was a lot of dust and what we requested were not as needed

The receptionist didn't say anything bad. The room didn't get what he wanted. That day, we went to check in around 16:00, but it turned out that the reserved room was not ready

I highly recommend Deva Beach Hotel. It's conveniently located right on the beach, and the staff provides excellent service. I stayed for four nights and got upgraded to a larger room with a stunning ocean view

The hotel itself is beautiful, quiet, and clean, with a strong resort atmosphere, and boasts its own private beach with fantastic sea views

The breakfast area with sea views is fantastic! 👍 We had to wait forever to check in; two women were busy with a couple who wanted to book an excursion. This could definitely be handled separately

Could not fault the place south beech not so loud as north part nice staff clean laundry service very good and cheap pool was good breakfast ok other little restaurant and bars near by 7_11 store 4minutes away

The staff is amazing; they entertained our children as best they could, they cleaned every day, and they were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are excellent, and I recommend them

Overall, this hotel is a great find, a great price, and a great location. I hope to see you again next year

absolute ripper place just opposite patong beach n can't get it any better. only critic bathroom/toilet could do with a uplift🥰 They have a serious issue with their hot n cold water

We love the location, right on the beachfront, though I recommend walking further along the beach for swimming because the water is cleaner there

I had a great stay at ibis Samui Bophut. It’s a solid choice if you're looking for a clean, comfortable beachfront hotel without breaking the bank

The location is excellent—right on the beach and just a short walk or drive to Fisherman’s Village. The beachfront is quiet and peaceful, with beautiful views and plenty of space to relax

There are loungers around both the pool and the beach, so it's easy to find a spot to unwind. Breakfast was decent with a mix of Thai and international options. Nothing fancy, but enough to start the day

Check-in was smooth, and the team was quick to offer suggestions for local food and transport. The pool area is a highlight—large, clean, and facing the beach

KC Grande is a large complex with buildings on both sides of the road, at the beginning of the town. It has its own beach just below the restaurant and pool, and it is probably the best on the island

Otherwise the hotel is superb, very beautiful swimming pool and the restaurant very good the staff is exceptional, they are very kind and especially POR at the reception she is exceptional very professional

Accommodation - We were very lucky to come across a promotion: free upgrade to Deluxe Sea View with a jacuzzi and sun beds on the balcony. The room was very spacious with a day bed and a huge bed

Check in was complicated because we had asked for a room with two beds but upon arrival it was impossible there was only one large king size bed

Thank you to VET, for my beautiful birthday wishes and my late night cake! The infinity pools are insanely beautiful, facilities are clean and easily accessible, we felt like we lived in a botanical garden

Been here before and this time I wasn’t disappointed either. Main rooms are getting refurbished so the only normal rooms available are across the road. They are modern and comfortable with their own pools

We spend 16nights, very good location. Privat beach acses , sunbeds and beach towers for free. Close to shops restaurant, bike rental. Every day cleaning Room, and 2x botlle of water, coffee.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was spotless but could do with some modernising. The location was very good for the beach. We found ourselves getting taxis to fishermen’s village- 25min drive.

Although there's no elevator, it wasn’t a big issue for me. The hotel is a bit far from Central Samui and the beach, so renting a bike is a good idea if you want to explore the island

Chaweng Beach is the closest, and it's a beautiful spot. I also recommend checking out Ark Bar—it’s a great place to chill, especially in the late afternoon or evening

The hotel offers plenty of amenities, and the breakfast in the morning was delicious—definitely a great way to start the day. The pool area is clean and well-maintained, perfect for a quick dip or relaxing by the water

I had a lovely stay at Samui First Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff welcomed warmly and even offered a refreshing welcome drink, which was a nice touch. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free

Very secluded place. A large beach. Plenty of sunbeds. Diverse a pool area with Jacuzzi.

Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Setting is lovely great selection of pools. Including swim up cocktail bar. Next door there is a beach restaurant which does great food and cocktails

Front-Desk staff was always super friendly, available for a quick chat and giving out advice. You'll be invited to a "cocktails with the management" event during your stay

We stayed in one of the premier villas and we're blown away of how spacious, well designed and equipped it was

The facilities were in tip top shape (co-incidentally, we've received new lounge chairs for sitting outside in the garden area on my birthday)

If I could give this resort a higher rating than 5 I would. Everything was perfect: the resort, the room, including cleanliness, the beach, the staff and the service

Our stay at Nora Buri Resort was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality that made us feel instantly at home

As someone who is a cleanliness freak, I sometimes get my room cleaned twice in a day and I wouldn't want grief over it. They can't do anything about this but FYI the beach is not accessible

Since we arrived at Nora Buri resort and spa, the staff have been exceptional!!! A special shout out to Aung from ‘the barge’ and Lester from ‘Manora’ breakfast bar who were so accomodating and friendly, it really made our time at the resort very special! The food was lovely, the massages and staff from the Andona spa were lovely

I was ther and I really enjoyed, the room is clean and aesthetic, the hotel is excellent. The service is very good and the staff is great. I'll be back there again

I booked for my aunt and uncle. They enjoy the resort very much and look forward to go back again.

Location is quite convenient and it was not hard to get a grab at all. Breakfast selection was great with a great view

Lack of towels was constant, we often had just one or none and never had any hand towels. There was a lovely wardrobe but only three hangers and only one plastic chair was allocated to the terrace area in each bungalow

I would stay again if the price is right, and if the price was too inflated, I would look elsewhere. However, keep in mind that it is still very close to everything, but it is in a very quiet location

We had a bad experience in Koh Samet before arriving at Samed Ville Resort, so this stay really changed our perspective. To be completely honest, this might be the best beach on the island

We were lucky with our chalet, located right on the cliff — probably one of the newest ones, as the stairs leading to it were still unfinished. As for the view, I’m honestly lost for words

Friends, hello everyone, my wife and I vacationed in mid-March, we really liked everything, friendly staff, nice beach, clean Coastline, few tourists, location of 10 9, there is nothing nearby, not even a store, you need to either go on bikes or, well, tuk-tuk, we really liked the sea! We were in the villa for 10 days, experienced different weather and time of day) a place of indescribable beauty!

A very good hotel in a stunningly beautiful location. Quiet beach, not many people, cozy houses, friendly staff. One of the nuances is that the cuisine is not the strongest when compared with other places on the island

The restaurant is quite overpriced for what it delivers. One downside was that the sunbeds were not included and had to be paid for separately

Overall, the stay was okay – you get what you pay for. The bungalow-on-the-beach concept is really nice, but these bungalows could use more investment and better maintenance

This beachfront hotel was absolutely divine during my Phuket trip – a perfect 10 out of 10, no doubt! The most amazing thing was its private coastline. It completely dodged the crowds of Phuket's popular beaches

Plus, the rooms are super spacious, the layout is expansive and doesn't feel cramped, and the cleanliness is impeccable, not a speck of dust anywhere

It was nice of them to welcome me with a fruit basket and also a cake on my birthday. The room is nice and has a great view. It is a pity it was raining and did not get to enjoy the infinity pool

Good location but the Avani room was facing the main road and therefore traffic noises affected our sleep sometimes.

It was nice that six complimentary glass bottles of water were provided, but the digital light switches lagged and were confusing—they sometimes only worked several seconds after pressing

The pool was not for swimming and was quite flat, but if you sat down inside the pool you could get your whole body in. The room itself was nice and pretty, bedroom had an AC. Bathroom did not but I’ve never missed it

The beach was really beautiful, super clear water and not at all crowded. You can see a really beautiful sunset there. The included breakfast was okay, you get toast and Marmelade, fruits, sausages, fresh eggs

Inside, we had a wonderful pool which was refreshing in the summer heat, two pool loungers with a parasol. And a table with two seats under a pagoda. Twice a day - and on request - the pool had a little waterfall

It's a small village, but it has everything you need. Within walking distance of the hotel, there are several cafes and massage places, a currency exchange, and a 7/11 not far away. However, a scooter is still essential

We booked the private pool villa (not tropical, the other). We stayed in 708 and it was a great pleasure. The entryway towards the villa is filled with beautiful tropical flowers and plants

We'd usually opt for the cheapest budget room we can find but decided to treat ourselves on our first night for getting over the jet lag, and by check out time the following morning decided to book a second night! The room was clean, comfy, secure, beautiful views, good shower, good air con, nice selection of toiletries provided

There are two hot spring pools at between 42-46° temperature, a large "normal" pool with access to pool bar (though no one was drinking / partying loudly and it was very relaxing) and a cool pool of apparently 16° which we weren't brave enough to try! The scenery and gardens were absolutely beautiful and well cared for

We stayed in a Family Beach Front Bungalow and it was perfect! Friendly staff, restaurant was okay and the best was great fun for our children who loved the kayaks!

Nice small resort not very far from the pier. 5mn walk from the pier but away from the noise. Beach on this side of the island is beautiful but not sure that the sea is very clean. Too many boats and resorts around

However, if you prefer quiet and private accommodation better to request the room away from the beach as we stay at the beach front cabin and as an open areas some nights the young people like to come and hangout on the beach on the late night or early morning also we can here to ferry in and out in the morning and night

Quiet resort right next to the beach with many bars and coffee shops. Location wise great if you look for both. Service was great. Rooms are Thai style and clean.

The other resorts on the other parts of the island are bets for the quality. Anyway it would cost you a lot to join them by taxi. And pay attention that by night, the roads by motobike are a bit complicated/dangerous

Our friends suggested this hotel and we did not regret it. This place is a perfect balance of price and quality. Big room, delicious breakfast, great pool and own beach in a calm lagoon.

It's not an issue as there are golf carts that take you around, but personally I'd prefer something closer together at the beach

This hotel is seriously inconvenient. It's huge because it's a combination of several hotels and guesthouses. Getting around from here is even worse. Coming back to the hotel from White Beach at night

The magnificent pools, both by the sea and right by the rooms, were a huge bonus. The gym was excellent; my husband and I worked out there daily. We especially appreciated how spacious and well-equipped it was

A very good option to stay even during holiday season. This resort has fantastic beach. Located little far from city center. They have very well equipped gym. I highly recommend to stay when you visit Koh Chang

Staffs are very helpful. Location is nice, just around five minutes from Ao Thammachart Pier. The room is big and fit for family but contains only one WC which is in bathroom. The price is competitive.

And again the peaple who are work on this resort made a perfect job to make my staying comfortable, smooth, joyful. I can absolutely recommend this resort to stay

Food and drink prices are high. The beach could be a lot nicer. They give you fresh towels everyday and clean your room. Close to a lot of things on the island

This time it was my second staying in this resort. Last time in 2025 the resort, the stuff and the atmosphere impressed me. But this time it was a quiet perfect

We stayed at Mily Bay Resort in August 2024 and have only great memories. We had a beachfront bungalow with a terrace. It wasn’t very large or luxurious, but it had everything we needed, and the bed was very comfortable

They renovated a lot and I could stay in a really awesome room. Nice shower (not a Thai one, a “normal” one for me as European 😅) A bathtub, much space, sofa, mini bar

Hotel was in a perfect location for travelling around the island, yet still able to get a good night sleep & no outside noise. We opted for breakfast which had a great selection

The hotel environment is fantastic, no complaints there. They offer a free shuttle to Chaweng Beach, have three outdoor pools, and two gyms. I even spotted a big gecko 🦎, but it was quite friendly.

Room was very large large bathroom and with tasteful Thai furniture and decorations, with fruit and free minibar, shower took long time to get warm and water would completely wet the floortowel
