We booked the panwa lodge for the bridal party accommodation and it was beautiful. Others stayed in the 2 bed villas and standard rooms and no one had a single complaint (or if they did they didn’t tell me)
The food, drinks and views were absolutely amazing on the day. Big thank you to Aom, the venue coordinator, and her assistant for helping to make the day run so smoothly
Breakfast was great and the staff were lovely and so accommodating. Cape Panwa will always hold a special place in our hearts and we can’t wait to come back
We were so happy we did because we avoided days when big cruise ships would be docking - that happens frequently and can spoil the horizon view
PS - if you’re thinking of getting married here, look up the port schedules on the dates you’re considering
Lovely 5 night stay in this hotel, although we'd rate it more 4 star than the 5 advertised. Great clean rooms but lacking enough tea (no English breakfast tea) and coffee in the room
My garden room, located a mere minute’s walk from the splash pool, provided convenience and comfort, nestled close to the well-maintained, jungle-like gardens of the resort
My wife and I enjoyed our 2-night stay in mid-February. The room was comfortable and exceptionally clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful if needed
Stayed from 3 to 5 November 2025
Room type: Deluxe Pool Access
Location: Island Escape by Burasari – Coconut Island
We visited as part relaxation and part inspection trip since we run a travel agency, and honestly this resort exceeded our expectations
Breakfast was truly 5-star quality. Wide variety, everything fresh. We also had lunch and dinner at the resort and the food was very good. Ordering is very easy through QR code, they call to confirm and deliver quickly
The Deluxe Pool Access villa was simply amazing. Two levels, direct access to the pool, strong air conditioning everywhere (6 AC units in total), large TV in the living room and another one in the bedroom
They had sent us an email before arrival offering online check-in, so we completed it in advance. When we arrived, the process took less than 10 minutes and our luggage was already delivered to the villa

Bang Sak Beach - 9 min
The beach is like any beach in Thailand but to the right you have an amazing massage place and to the left you have restaurants and fire shows twice (I think) a week. Khao Lak centre is a 15-20 min ride
The pool by the beach is perfect if you want to have a few cocktails and lounge around by the pool with them
Excellent happy hours - can stay for the entire day at their little pool/beach front area
Idyllic, with kindness spread by the employees working there - you literally feel embraced and held by this place. The quiet swimming pool and the ponds with its views are my two highlights
To sum up, my husband and I fell in love and will be coming back as soon as possible. grateful for the hotel for introducing me to pandan juice, which I am now obsessed with
The rooms are just perfect, ours came out onto the pond and we could sit and enjoy the view for hours. Breakfast was sublime, didn’t get tired of it after 10 days
We were genuinely impressed with everyone from the gardener to all the team members who took such good care of us. We’ll definitely come back in the future and recommend this hotel to our friends and family!
My only minor complaints are that the AC can only be turned on or off, with no temperature control, which is a bit inconvenient as it gets too cold when on and too warm when off
Also, there's a slight issue with the shower's temperature control; it's almost impossible to find a middle ground between scorching hot and freezing cold, so I ended up having to angle the showerhead as high as it would go
Everything was amazing! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they really made sure our stay was memorable. A big thank you to Afan and the entire team for the wonderful hospitality
I highly recommend the Pad Thai at the Talay restaurant in the lobby – it was the best I had on this trip out of three different places! The sea view from the room is beautiful
This hotel is nestled in the mountains, so while it's not the most convenient to get to, it offers a peaceful retreat. The staff are great, and the overall facilities are good
I was stayed here few times since when hotel was open and they still have my record! So impressed. Located near Cicada market and short walk to the beach from next alley
Ibis is far from any shops or restaurants but the beach nearby is better than the beach in town which you can't really swim in because of all the rocks
Good location and good services, and close to the beach. There is also a small alley next to the hotel where you can walk to enjoy the sea view.
It's a winner if you are coming for a swim at the beach although tbh the beaches in Hua Hin aren't great. As for the rooms they are good. Rules a bit strict regarding the balcony considering the current laws in Thailand
Nice staffs also good hotel clean and big room also car parking area is huge
very good location, and near to sea, breafast is nice , room supest clean

Maybe it was January and Chinese New Year hadn't started yet, haha! The hotel's overall environment was decent, and you could even catch the sunset at Mai Khao Beach!
My family and I had an enjoyable time. It’s clean and the room is spacious. The only thing is that you have to request for basic amenities like toothbrush or shaver etc. unless the cleaner of the day forgot to restock
The only location of the hotel is far away from the popular tourist spots, but this made it even better as the beach wasn’t crowded and had a more chilled vibe. It’s also much closer to the airport for easy transfers
There wasn't anyone at the front desk who spoke Chinese, and most of the hotel guests were foreigners; we rarely saw Chinese or even other Asian guests
The hotel beach offers incredibly beautiful sunsets, and it's much cleaner than Patong Beach. There's a dedicated pool for lounging (swimming is difficult because it's often crowded)
The Thai restaurant, in particular, was excellent – so good that we went every day and got to know the staff. Another plus is its proximity to the airport
Well kept hotel with attentive service. Room access by buggy and service was always prompt and attentive. Regular hotel shuttle to Kamala town with a public beach, shops and restaurants.
The breakfast was great, and the facilities met Hyatt's standards. My kids loved the bunk beds in the family two-bedroom suite, but the smaller room had no windows
The public areas weren't huge, but the pool was spacious. The beach is right across the street; even though the sand isn't the best, it was nice and uncrowded, even in peak season
Beautiful hotel with a rich breakfast spread. The only downside is its inconvenient location, with not much to do around the area. However, the hotel itself offers nice views.
There's a security guard to help you cross the road, which is a nice touch. The only downside is that dining options nearby are quite limited
The beach right in front of the hotel was quite poor, with rough, yellowish sand that hurt my feet, and the ocean wasn't great either. However, for a pure resort stay, it's a fantastic choice
**Cleanliness:** It was acceptable; nothing outstanding but no major issues either. **Service:** The hotel staff were excellent. I had driven to the hotel, and my car tire was low on air
It was a lovely experience. The villa accomodation was perfect for our stay. We enjoyed the restaurant service and the massages. The staff were so friendly.
The only thing that I could definitely recommend to the resort is get a properly wheel chair access, as we have a pram and it was so hard to locate with it. No ramps enough available to facilitate the location
Super nice hotel with a great location in Khao Lak. The hotel restaurant is overpriced. A scoop of industrial ice cream costs more than artisanal Italian ice cream in an ice cream parlor in Germany.
Perfect location next to a beautiful beach. Not very crowded and loads of spaces to lie out in deck chairs or on the sand. Hotel staff are excellent, super helpful and kind
Outrigger has its own app which made ordering additional toiletries for our room simple. Only tricky part is getting to/from the hotel ad it is a 10min drive from Khao Lak town but the hotel can help you to order a taxi
Very nice hotel right on the beach with great views. Good cuisine, large swimming pool, rooms ok, service nice and helpful. The neighborhood is quiet, good for families, couples and individual travelers 👌
Amenities are generally good, though a bit limited compared to larger resorts, but still sufficient for a comfortable stay. Overall, a relaxing beachfront resort with good service and value for money
Fairly large hotel resort style for the area. Some of the rooms are right on the beach. Although the beach is probably not for swimming. Keep in mind that there isn't much around in terms of walking distance
Close to the beach with a nice surrounding environment. It's an older hotel, so it's best to bring your own shampoo and shower gel.
It's been nice place. I could ran away from the messy world for a while.
The night was quiet through sound of sea wave. I like it. I think I will visit there again if I have chance.
The service and people were good.
Stayed here for a short business trip and had a pleasant experience overall. The resort is clean and well maintained, and the room was comfortable with a nice sea view
The main pool and beach area was very nice. Gym had everything you needed
The hotel is great and well designed and maintained
There is a renovation going on in some areas which might be a bit uncomfortable but they are doing their best to accomodate guests through it
There is no early check in
you will get in your room by 3:00 if it is busy. I asked for late checkout several times which was also hard to get due to occupancy. Restaurant staff, security guys at the entrance will go beyond the limit to help you
I had such a wonderful stay at Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach Resort. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm smiles and attentive service
The hotel is at a nice beach but not connected to any other bars at the beach. The beach has no other restaurant or bars. It is quiet and perfect place to relax
Micky at reception, who gave excellent recommendations, and to K. Fah, the yoga instructor who led open-air yoga sessions every morning with a stunning sea view and fresh breeze

Nice location, but beach have lots of shells at shore.
Hotel looks nice, but needs some maintenance though
F&B mediocre apart of breakfast.
Very tentative guest service team.
Extremely satisfied with our Chinese New Year family trip! Our whole family loves relaxing at hotels, so the slightly remote location was definitely worth it for the low crowds, especially compared to the usual throng on Phuket island itself
There were very few Chinese tourists, mostly Europeans, Russians, and some Indians who were all quite well-behaved, unlike the noisy ones you sometimes encounter in places like Singapore
Absolutely top notch stay. Kids loved it, beach is amazing and staff were super kind and supportive. We will stay here again next year.
Phang Nga Bay was about 5 degrees cooler than the main island, so even under the blazing sun, spending half a day in the connecting pool wasn't hot at all
On beach property, stand alone location. Have only local convenience store and some local restaurants nearby. Variety breakfast.

Really nice place and a really quiet and peaceful beach. There’s a kids club, a few restaurants(Japanese, Thai etc. ), a few swimming pools, and a big garden area
We were very satisfied with the trip. The room was clean and spacious, and the food selection was plentiful, though a bit pricey. Overall, the kids had a great time, making it a fantastic choice!
The hotel is about one and a half hours drive from the city centre so if you want to travel in the city this is not the best place to be in. (it’s more about relaxing at the beach)
Beautiful hotel, well furnished 2 bedroom units. The staff are excellent and the facilities are well maintained. The greenery is well kept
Hospitality is world class, from the welcome drinks at the reception, daily activities for families/couples, exclusive beach front that is guests only, three different swimming pools; hotel rooms, villa rooms, different cuisines for food, to staff members that are extremely friendly
We loved everything about this place. So original in its atmosphere from what we see in North America. It was over 1000 sq feet with a balcony and dinner table

Great place to stay! Clean, great location with private beach and good customer service, Breakfast was amazing. Very friendly responsive staff let me checkout by 15:00 with no extra charge.
Would surely choose again.
The most pristine and well-tended Marriot resort. Guest service is excellent: special mention to housekeeping manager Pupe, who was friendly and helpful! A beautiful beach and huge pools to swin around in
In-room dining and restaurants are amazing as well. The only issue is the location. It is far from the main areas of Khao Lak, and it is extremely tedious and expensive to travel in and out of the resort
I would suggest for the resort to provide alternative transport options that are more convenient and affordable
The only downsides were the dated condition of the room (though the service team responded promptly by sending over a dehumidifier when we gave feedback), and the kids’ club being under renovation, with the temporary play area and toys showing their age
One standout feature was the WiFi coverage, which once connected, stayed seamless throughout the resort, even as I walked all the way to the beach. It made the stay even more convenient and enjoyable
The hotel beach offers breathtaking sunset views and is perfect for families. The restaurant downstairs serves delicious food, and a drink at the bar at night with friends is incredibly relaxing
Fantastic hotel with an amazing pool and a great club/executive lounge experience -Beautiful sunsets and nice little private beach. I couldn’t be happier with the stay
Location is at the other beach, still very nice. Breakfast with a lot of variety. Many things for the kids to play around. Gym room is nice too. Close to other attractions like Water Market, Lion Park, etc
Everything else was great! The breakfast had many choices and was very good. The pool was stunning with lots of activities, and the beach was quiet and relaxing. The suite room type offers the best view
The only slight downside is the location and F&B prices, as there aren’t any shops or attractions within easy walking distance, though transport is inexpensive and easy to use
Excellent sea view from the room, beautiful sunset, staff are nice, nice pool and beach
But the facilities and the room are old, towels are old, the shuttle bus is horrible. time for some renewal and renovations
We had a pleasant stay at Hyatt. Having moved from a nearby hotel, we were happy to see how modern and clean the facilities were. Coconut drinks at breakfast buffet were a plus and the beach was small but cozy
One downside though-- We were away 10am-330pm on our second day and came back to the room to find it still not cleaned
Everyone was incredibly helpful and hospitable and the resort is absolutely stunning!!!awish yhe beach had more white sand, but we had an incredible experience! We will be back for sure
The biggest drawback of this hotel is the beach. It's not fine sand but rather a mix of pebbles and rocks. Firstly, it's almost impossible to walk barefoot on the beach, and secondly, swimming isn't an option
This hotel is not suitable for families who enjoy playing on sandy beaches or need to swim in the sea
Stunning hotel. Very helpful staff. The place is a little far from the center but full of its own charm. Excellent breakfast
Robinson Khao Lak is a beautifully landscaped beach resort 1. 5 hours north of Phuket International Airport. It's "out of the way" of the heavily touristed Phuket island and that's the main reason I selected it
Outstanding hotel with the best food we have ever enjoyed in a resort and top class sports facilities. Evening entertainment is a little limited but tjat wasnt pur reason for booking.
All staff very nice
Nice place and hotel
The service is good but not exceptional. The breakfast that is included in the room price is really good. The maid was really nice and provided us with extra bottled water. There were two weaknesses for me
Secondly, while the grounds were huge there weren't activities like yoga classes, free bicycles, nature walks for the guests. But overall it was a very relaxing and enjoyable place to spend a few days
First as a vegetarian there were very few options in the resort for a vegetarian lunch and dinner

This is the best resort we have ever stayed at. Everything feels so luxe, from the rooms, the pools, the service to the buffet breaky! When we arrived, we were greeted with smiles, cold towels and a welcome drink
There was also an issue with pool towels — one day there were no towels available at all. We were told that the supply vehicle had been in an accident, but there had already been a shortage the day before
We were given a free room upgrade (the BEST surprise)!
Everyday we talk about how incredible this resort is. We actually cancelled our next accommodation and extended our stay here instead
We made our reservation only about 30 minutes before arriving, yet everything was perfectly arranged and prepared for us. The staff were very friendly, professional, and attentive
Honestly, we would give this place 10 stars if it were possible, but unfortunately the maximum is 5. It was truly a fantastic experience
PS: Special compliments to Ning & Prim for an amazing afternoon and all fantastic care. Mama had an amazing birthday 🎈🎂
The hotel boasts a great location right by Chaweng Beach with nice views and attentive service. The evening fireworks show was spectacular
The only downside was the inconsistent shower water pressure, which kept fluctuating between hot and cold
Plenty of taxis outside and a family mart right on the property. They project movies on a large screen right on the beach at night. And have a great restaurant and bar setup if you just want to relax close to your room
If you book the beach front private pool , you get a small pool where you can order the floating breakfast. Friendly staff but the housekeeping is not 24 hours so get what you need before late night
One of the most beautiful resorts I’ve ever stayed at. The service from staff was consistently incredible, and the buffet breakfast was good. Would absolutely return to such a calm and picturesque location
Personal favourite was the but 1 get 1 free happy hour on the beach from 4-6pm every day!
Great location on the beach and right in the heart of all the nightlife in Chaweng which is great. Although you're so close to all the venue, it was nice and quiet at the hotel.
A fantastic beach, perfect for swimming, is just a 10-minute walk to the right. The only minor downside was that upon check-in, we noticed a damp smell
It seemed to be coming from the towels, though, as after they were replaced on the second day, the smell completely disappeared
We stayed in two adjacent rooms, and in one of them, the water was only lukewarm. Currently (in August), this particular spot on Chaweng Beach experiences a very noticeable low tide
Great services, conveniently located near all local amenities and well-connected, with easy access to the sea. Breakfast was delicious, though it's a shame there was no chocolate spread.
A beautiful, well-maintained hotel. Delicious breakfasts are served in an open-air restaurant overlooking the sea. The rooms are clean, and the grounds are lush and green
