Rajapruek Samui Resort in Lipa Noi

We stayed here for a week in May and it was great. The rooms are big and have everything you need. We stayed in a pool room and while the pool was quite shallow it was still refreshing to be able to go for a dip whenever you want. A small note, the step in and out of the pool is quite deep and there are no handrails so if you are physically challenged (like myself) I did have to have help from my husband to get out!

The restaurant on the beach is nice, the food was very good and the staff were very efficient and friendly.

Outside the resort, there is a great massage place and a laundry. There is a small convenience store but that is limited to drinks and some snacks though they do tours from here as well.

There are some nice restaurants within walking distance, notably Mangoe Tree (delicious) and the Outback Cafe (great for breakfast). There are also other hotels along the beach for a change of pace if needed.

Note: Bed is very hard could probably ask for a mattress topper

Lovely resort on perfect sunset beach, quiet area, no nightlife, resort restaurant food was delicious, staff were lovely and flat 15 minutes walk to supermarket, about 20 other restaurants a few steps away, friendly hotel black dog... We loved it. June 2026 weather was dry & sunny a few scattered clouds. Sea is shallow and warm, stunning sunsets

Writing this on our 3rd day in this resort of a total of 6 days 5 nights. My girlfriend and I booked via Booking in advance and got a notification that the pool is being worked on during our stay. They offered a compensation via Booking to upgrade our Balcony Room to a Private Plunge Pool Villa. On arrival we initially were given the Balcony Room but after showing the booking confirmation of the offer and a quick staff phone call, we were given the room upgrade as offered.

Service can be easily written/called via Whatsapp. For example when we needed some extra toilet paper or the pool cleaned. They answered quick and they were on it right away.

The location is awesome. Because this resort is directly next to the beach, you could enjoy the beach in the morning and evening when the sun isn't too strong. Beach chairs are also reserved for resort guests. Since we are on the west coast, you can enjoy the sunset here directly. We also drove to the crystal beach on the east coast today and to be honest, I prefer the quieter beach here.

Their own restaurant is also right at the beach front where you also have breakfast. The price is slightly more expensive than the restaurants nearby but for western standards it is still very good and not really expensive. The food is good and the restaurant staff is super friendly.

Overall the resort has a beautiful green scenery with a lot of trees, plants and even koi ponds. I love the sounds of birds while walking through the resort. It has a nice touch of nature.

We booked the private pool villa (not tropical, the other). We stayed in 708 and it was a great pleasure.

The entryway towards the villa is filled with beautiful tropical flowers and plants.
The villa intself had a ring, was lockable and had a sign „clean up / do not disturb“ - I found that very helpful and discrete.

Inside, we had a wonderful pool which was refreshing in the summer heat, two pool loungers with a parasol. And a table with two seats under a pagoda.
Twice a day - and on request - the pool had a little waterfall. The pool was not for swimming and was quite flat, but if you sat down inside the pool you could get your whole body in.

The room itself was nice and pretty, bedroom had an AC.
Bathroom did not but I’ve never missed it.

The beach was really beautiful, super clear water and not at all crowded. You can see a really beautiful sunset there.
The included breakfast was okay, you get toast and Marmelade, fruits, sausages, fresh eggs.

I would definitely go there again and the price-quality-relation was great.

Could easily order grab for food and groceries or walk by foot.

The hotel is on the beach. The bungalows near the sea are good. We had booked a room with a view of the pool. We got a corner room with a view of the outbuildings from behind which the pool was visible. This is a minus. The breakfasts are good.

Had a great time at this resort, is big and the direct access to the beach is very convenient. The breakfast (you can add it for a little extra on your regular room price) was really good and with an amazing view of the pool and the beach. Staff was very friendly and the rooms were big, clean and with good aircon. Definitely recommended!

Nice clean rooms. Everyday if you don’t want the room cleaned they will put water and toilet roll infront of the door. Nice hotel, WiFi (router) in every room. Two nice pools, larger one at the front of the hotel. Nice beach. A few restaurants within a 1 min walk which was good and a very basic convenience store across the road, or a slightly bigger one round the corner. 4/5, would of been nice if there was a beach bar or somewhere to get some drinks/snacks close to the beach / pool. Other than a few cans at reception.

The hotel has a great location, and if you don't mind walking (5-20 minutes) you can get to places to eat or supermarkets without a scooter. The hotel has a small section of beach. This has enough loungers and is kept clean. The sea in Ko Samui is generally not intended for snorkeling. One of our 4 days we had jellyfish and couldn't get into the sea at the hotel at all. The promenade is very nice and you can go out in both directions. The hotel's 2 pools are clean and sufficient for cooling off. A big plus point are the times, as the pool is open until 10 o'clock in the evening.
We didn't like the service as we forgot to replace or refill towels and breakfast a few times. The pictures of the hotel are definitely more beautiful than the hotel itself. But still a good stay for a few days

If you are looking for a peaceful resort to read a book on the beach, this is the place to choose. We originally booked for two nights (Deluxe garden room) and there unfortunately was a mix up with the room. The hotel downgraded us to standard for the first night (which I must say didn’t feel standard) then upgraded us for the second (Deluxe beach front bungalow). We loved our stay so much we extended for a further four nights in the beach front bungalow as it was just honestly stunning. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made our stay enjoyable. The only area for improvement I could possibly give is the breakfast was a tad cold, although this would most definitely not deter me from booking again.
